GODSPEED Campaign!

Let me first say that I have grown up in the North Ga mountains near the S.C. border. I have family and friends that live and attend school in the Greenville area. I have also worked on and off in S.C. In growing up my father was a local judge and pastor and had to run for public office several times. Involved for many years in Ga politics, he’s personally helped others in getting started like Senator Zell Miller. I say this only to let you know I have somewhat of a feel for this area and what makes us tick.

My humble assessment at this point is this:

You may think that things are going pretty good right now with all of the endorsements and such, but pretty good is not enough!!! Stay on the aggressive offense; otherwise, you may slip into third or fourth real quick. To be honest, I’m not sure the debate went that well for us with everyone fanning the fires for war.

The evangelical church crowd is especially fired up for WAR due to a spirit of FEAR instilled by their current faithless leaders and from a poor economy. You have got to encourage Dr. Paul to openly point out to the people that they are spiritually being led down the wrong path that leads to much greater bloodshed and turmoil.

I would quote JESUS CHRIST forcefully and promote the Gospel’s mandate to PEACE! Time is of the essence; quickly challenge them verse by verse, it’s the only language we rightfully know around here! This is the heart of the Bible belt that will carry on to FLA!

For instance, I would emphasize…

TRUE Christians should obey the words of Christ not a STATUS QUO group of scribes like the ones having met recently in Texas. They have been a large part of our past problems, having given us so many leaders like Newt.

JESUS SAID “blessed are the PEACEMAKERS; for they shall be called the children of God.”

JESUS SAID “Love your enemies!” …not offensively bomb them into submission!” This is not about protecting Israel, and we all know it. It’s about protecting the huge U.S. military complex and its gross budget of 43% of the world’s total war spending.

If we really wanted peace we would concentrate on setting a higher personal standard for the world.

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7 The path to national peace must first travel thru the MIRROR!

“PRIDE goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”
Clearly, our motives are being driven by a spirit of PRIDE and FEAR not HUMILITY and PEACE. Nothing wrong with a healthy spirit of national patriotism, however, we have now traveled into a pit of arrogance that the world loathes.

TRUE FREEDOM and LIBERATION is advanced on the backs of missionaries and ambassadors, not bullets and bombs! The Church is shooting its self and its missionaries in the foot, by wrongfully using Gov’t to offensively force the world into submission.

Today’s problems will only be solved if Christians and their leaders begin to change…
“If MY PEOPLE, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
