Surrogate Speakers Are Key To Making Ron Paul Acceptable To Mainstream America
Submitted by Zak Carter on Fri, 01/20/2012 - 02:33Ron Paul can't be everywhere on every show in front of every audience at once - but with enough surrogate speakers his message can be.
Please ask the media that you watch/listen/read for a Ron Paul surrogate speaker that fits with that audience - surrogate speakers are familiar with the language of the target audience and can relate Dr. Paul's message to them in many cases likely even better than he can himself.
Robin Koerner can really give an amazing interview to a liberal audience, just as Adam Kokesh can to defense hawks.
This interview and many more (ask Robin Koerner!) wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for me simply asking for it!
I've been lining up interviews up for the following individuals, please help me get them heard more!
Chris Kuper is the spokesman for Gun Owners for Ron Paul http://www.facebook.com/#!/GunOwnersForRonPaul Besides being a regular at the range, Chris spent time working at Gun Owners of America.
Sydney Hay is the spokeswoman for Christians for Ron Paul http://www.facebook.com/search/results.php?q=christians%20for%20ron%20paul&type=pages&init=quick&tas=0.33516659628936885#!/ChristiansForRonPaul
Adam Kokesh is a Marine Corps veteran of Iraq and the spokesperson of the Veterans for Ron Paul group. http://www.facebook.com/#!/VetsforRonPaul?sk=info Adam along with fellow veteran Nathan Cox is also organizing a military/veterans march on Washington D.C.
http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/192677970828185/
(I'm pumped about that march! If you're a fellow veteran I hope to see you there!)
Curt Shultz and http://ronpaulproducts.com/ have the “Ron Paul Super Brochure Project.” it is a counter to the blackout and bias against Ron Paul. Curt plans to print 10 million brochures to get information about Ron Paul directly into the hands of primary and caucus voters.
Robin Koerner is a political writer at the Huffington Post and has started the “Blue Republican” movement, which is asking Democrats and Independents to support Ron Paul. You can read his article that started it all here - http://www.huffingtonpost...
The facebook group and website that has grown from this article can be found here - http://www.facebook.com/b... http://www.bluerepublican...
John Dennis is behind http://rp2012.org/ and has set up a phone for Ron Paul from home program, has hosted contests, and helped get supporters to Iowa.
Minister Derrick Grayson of Atlanta, Georgia, has been making hard hitting videos in support of Ron Paul that are being widely viewed by an audience that wouldn’t normally be exposed to information about a white guy running for President. http://www.youtube.com/us...
Natalie Fawn Danelishen attended homeschool as a child and started college at 16 before going to work at the Ludwig Von Mises Institute. Currently she is a stay at home mom homeschooling her own children and spokeswoman of Homeschoolers for Ron Paul. http://www.facebook.com/H...
And please feel free to share my contact information to act as liaison between show hosts and any of the above individuals!

You bet! and thank you for the heads up!
I just sent Mr. Celente a request for help in this! I'm very familiar with him, he's awesome! I love his libertarian/progressive fusion trend forecast and see Robin Koerner as the in the flesh embodiment of that forecast!

Maybe Celente
can help get more Ron Paul speaking on coast to coast!

Gerald Celente...
I managed to get through to him...but he seemed busy and preoccupied...hopefully the Blue Republican information I shared with him gets him thinking about helping to advance his libertarian/progressive alliance trend forecast:)

Relay to Rally.
Zak, you brought up an important issue, its necessary to run a large campaign. RP supporters /students need to share the load of work, - to grow and multiply for bumper harvest / electoral success.
RELAY: 1. An act of passing something along from one person, group, or station to another. 2. a person or team of people relieving others, as on a shift.
RALLY: 1. To call together for a common purpose; assemble: 2 A gathering, especially one intended to inspire enthusiasm for a cause: 3 A sharp improvement in health, vigor, or spirits.
SURROGATE: 1. One that takes the place of another; a substitute. 2 to put in another's position as a deputy. 3 to appoint as a successor to oneself.
Sow the seeds, as in a Seminary, to Multiply.
The Liberty Movement ~and~ The Campaign for Ron Paul 2012,
both are important.
Tick$ & http://www.UsDebtClock.org ~
Trick$ - http://www.economist.com/content/global_debt_clock
This also needs to come from the campaign
Other campaigns PAY these sorts of people to do interviews and to offer opinions for the media. The media allow it because they don't have to work for content.
The Paul campaign is shooting themselves in the foot by not having a pool of people (paid or not) ready and actively trying to get on TV to say good things about Paul.
The great thing about the r3volution
Is this crew is willing to do it for free!
(but I and Robin are getting tired of ramen and pbj:)
It would be nice to have their help lining up interviews, but I think it's More effective when the requests come from you and me.

I'm biased but...
... Zak is entirely right.
He's been incredible at getting people like me in front of the media and knows what he's talking about.
He's got me on a couple of dozen radio interviews, but still I am a thoroughly under-utilized resource for Ron Paul and the liberty movement. Please help him help me and others help Ron Paul!
There are good people out there with good credentials who know their stuff. Ron Paul is a hero, but unfortunately hasn't yet worked out how to be in five places at once. Five of us can be!

Axioms, Logic, Love and Intimacy
Axiom: no one can physically be in more than one place at a time. No great wisdom here.
Dr. Paul needs surrogate speakers because (1) public speaking and televised debates are not the Congressman's greatest virtues, and (2) third-party reference is perceived to be more credible than self-reference. Especially when the message blows your mind.
Pundits have been asking "Why is Dr. Paul so popular among the young voters?" I will tell you but first I am obliged to warn you about potential mind- and attitude-altering consequences. You have been warned -- twice.
Dr. Paul is popular among his incredibly loyal followers, young and old and all in between. The good doctor is lovable; loving and loved.
Love, being a many-splendored thing, has a few essential ingredients, among them trust, respect and integrity. People see Ron Paul as trustworthy. We respect Dr. Paul, we listen to him in hopes of gaining knowledge and understanding and we are eager to follow his lead. Ron Paul's integrity is beyond reproach; he is genuine as all he says and does are an authentic expression of who he is.
Dr. Paul is the kind, wise and lovable grandfather I wish I had. This is Dr. Paul's sharpest edge against his GOP opponents and the prez. But this message is best delivered by someone other than himself.
Mitt's got the style, Dr. Paul has the substance. Romney is a made-for-TV product of the Wall Street - K Street axis of greed, Ron Paul is a consistent conservative constitutionalist. Principles before personalities.
Ideology matters. A lot. We got that covered after the second or third debate. No one is saying anything new, just the same things in different ways. When someone keeps repeating the same stuff to me, my defenses go up as if my intelligence or English comprehension was under attack.
The message is important. It almost bears repeating that the message should not be repetitious [someone please tell Romney, I don't think he reads this thread]. Use real life examples that demonstrate the issue. Dig deeper into the issue instead of repeating the same position.
The ideal surrogate speaker does not espouse positions (leave that to Newt, Mitt & Barry, Rick and the Kama Sutra) but engages people in a dialogue about interests and intent. Staking out a position engenders resistance. A two-way dialogue about interests and intent engenders a cooperative search for common ground. For God's sake, listen -- become willing to understand -- reflect and empathize.
The ideal surrogate speaker earns the trust and respect of the audience with open heart and mind (which builds intimacy through the willingness to be vulnerable, which in turn builds trust) and becomes the thought and opinion leader of the group. Vivid expressions of passionate convictions carry the group to the incredible lightness of liberty and personal responsibility.
America deserves a President we can love, a leader we can trust, a man with an inspired and inspiring vision to restore America to the greatness equal to its founding documents, the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
About me: Ron Paul activist (PCO, County and State GOP Delegate) since 1988, USAF veteran, software engineer (operating system, drivers, Windows 8 Metro-style apps.) 20 year career at HP, two internet software start-ups, lots of consulting. I intend to retire at the same age as Dr. Paul will. I have a ways to go, I am only 62.
Civis mundi sum; nihil est alienum mihi.
Thank you Robin!
Can't wait for another day on S/V Discovery and a lots of beers with you!:)

I just got word that Robin Koerner will be on infowars next week, preaching to the choir, but it's a massive choir to preach to! And they need a reminder that the 3 million people that make up their choir is a full 1/3 of the votes needed for a Ron Paul victory!
