Amazon One Star Attack On: Revolution a Manifesto

Looks like there is some blowback from the neocons, most likely Levin. He was on the radio hooting and hollering for hours about him getting one starred...Anyway, if you have read the book, go give it a positive review to offset the one stars he is getting. If not, go buy it and read it. It is one of my favorites.

Liberty Defined is under attack also:

All books by Ron Paul are under attack by a group of levin's minions. So, go and fix this please...report one stars that have no substance and give it a positive review if you have read any of his books.

Let Marx Levin

and his Winkie army minions do whatever they want.

It's Amazon's property; their servers. I can't see how anyone's property rights are being violated by this.

The books speak for themselves, and will sell as they would in absence of Paulbot spam or Marx Levin Winkie army minion spam.

A better use of time might be talking to potential voters one on one. Just sayin.

"Let the dogs bark." - LVM

That is what happens when

That is what happens when supporters act contrary to Dr. Paul and behave like fools and alienate people. We are not here to smack down potential allies. We are here to win over people.

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

I have a question for the pacifists here.

I'm hearing the violence is a last resort thing. I agree.

Hypothetically speaking, when is the right time? After decades of abuse by the very people we've elected, to protect our rights.

After the blatant recent abuses by our president towards us and the elite towards us for trying to correct the grievances.

When is it enough? Have any of you thought of that or are you all completely opposed to it?

Should we keep on keeping on while our rights are completely stripped? While we play fair, they play dirty?

I understand the need for peace and I want it badly but I also the see realities involved with that idea in the present climate. I'm willing to give peace a chance but only to a point. Even the Founding Fathers had a limit and my view includes the ideas and abuses throughout history to present date, not just my immediate timeline. I see how far we've slipped.

Sooo I ask you again, when is peace not enough? Is it always enough?

I contacted Amazon, their response below

Below is their reply. I'm sure they dislike artificial reviews as much as we do, especially those with strong or libelous language.

"Hello,

I looked into your recent reports of violations of our Review Guidelines regarding "The Revolution." We're aware that that there is a possible campaign for this title using our Customer Reviews, and that some reviews don't adhere to our guidelines. We appreciate that you took the time to contact us to bring this situation to our attention.

We're taking steps to prevent this from reoccurring. However, it will take some time to remove the reviews that violate our guidelines. I appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this problem. Any changes made will appear soon."

we're complaining

about blowback?

how about we shut up and learn a lesson from this?

"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"
Ron Paul

Yes amen

Its why a majority will never be able to live like Ron Paul, our collective actions are abhorrent and root ten with hypocrisy. I believe in sticking with the high ground always. I want to beat the neocons and leftist so bad. But do it with honor and integrity. Because we end up No Better than the a-holes we rail against. and victory will not feel or be any sweeter but less so.

This is TOTALLY IMMATURE, but

Honestly, when will Paulbots learn? This spamming crap has GOT TO STOP! This gave Paul a really bad name last time and it took 4 years to overcome it, and now here ya'll go again.

That being said, I have hit Amazon and I'm reporting some of the Levin-drone 1-star reviews.

But, I have actually commented on a few instead. This may be an equally effective approach. For example, to this "review" of The Revolution: A Manifesto that already had 2 comments added:

Thank me very much for saving you money! This might be good for starting fires in your fireplace. If you must read it, go to the library.

Thinking of purchasing this book, I was reading reviews of this book and I find it rather strange and suspicious that there are a great deal of 1 star reviews, all really lacking substance, that just happen (coincidentally?) to come out in the last several days or so. Strange. Are these even honest reviews or simply some sort of political attack? Anyone?

Steven Wooley says:
Apparently Mark Levin called for all of this listeners to leave 1-star reviews of Ron's book because he doesn't like Ron's philosophy of non-interventionism, sound money, and a smaller federal government. It's incredibly childish.

And I just added:

N. Schultz says:
"Thank me!" How original! Welcome to the world of Levin-drones!

Ha, I just realized that this reviewer may not be a total lost cause after all: Yes, our tax dollars pay for our libraries, so as this reviewer says "If you must read it, go to the library." Good Advice!

Read the book, free your mind!

So, as you can see from "annonymous" some actual Amazon shoppers MAY be interested in Ron Paul and not actually understand what is going on here! Talk about Blowback!

So yes, report the bad Levin-drone reviews to Amazon, but detailed positive reviews are a much better tactic.

And, as they say "No press is bad press, and bad press is better than no press." So STOP FLAMING O'Reilly and Levin's books! IGNORE THE ENEMY!!! Ron Paul suppoirters should know this (ignore) tactic works better than anything else!

I may be a vegetarian, but I'll defend to the death my right to eat meat!

Your last statements really don't add up.

'So, as you can see from "annonymous" some actual Amazon shoppers MAY be interested in Ron Paul and not actually understand what is going on here! Talk about Blowback!'

Then blowback has worked.

'And, as they say "No press is bad press, and bad press is better than no press." So STOP FLAMING O'Reilly and Levin's books! IGNORE THE ENEMY!!! Ron Paul suppoirters should know this (ignore) tactic works better than anything else!'

If bad press is better than no press why would we then ignore them?

I say it has been a success in some cases. He attacked us, we hit him back, he hit us back and we won minds because of it.

Sweet KEEP DOING IT. lol

Not sure why everyone is arguing about this

Again for the tenth time on this post, just vote up ron paul's book if you think its good. This isn't a debate over whether giving negative reviews is a good thing. I am just trying to help get Dr. Paul's book get some good reviews. I have no idea what is wrong with some of you to think this is a bad idea...The point is to promote Ron Paul's book. If you don't want to, that is your choice. However, if your a Ron Paul supporter, you probably want other people to read these books.

Amazon's reply (for the record)

I sent a complaint to Amazon.com after reading this post, and this is their reply:

Thank you for taking time out to contact us about the voting/comments on Ron Paul's books.

I can understand your concerns over the votes displaying on Amazon.com and I’m sorry if this has caused any concerns for you. Our voting system is designed to regularly and automatically monitor voting patterns (commonly called campaign voting) and other voting irregularities.

I have contacted our technical support team to look into this situation. We will thoroughly investigate the votes and if we discover inappropriate use of our voting system, we'll remove those votes in 2-4 weeks. If we do not discover any irregularities, the vote total will not change. We appreciate your patience while we work on this for you.

I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Have a great weekend.

Thank you for your recent inquiry. Did I solve your problem?

Don't forget

to click the "report abuse" button on the fake reviews. If enough people do that, the bad reviews will be removed!

Levin's new "best seller"

Posting an opinion on a book

Posting an opinion on a book written by a known warmonger is not an act of violence, it is an expression of opinion and a warning to people who may not know that the author regularly spews hatred and an agenda of death.

I don't think it's childish to try and warn people away from this filth.

I also support people's freedom to rate and opine on Ron Paul's book without reading it as they also are free to their opinion of Dr. Paul.

These are not acts of violence.

To a pacifist, farting in an enclosed room

can be seen as hostile.

ha ha...They're a little late

ha ha...They're a little late on Manifesto. It came out four years ago and already topped the charts.

I agree about the elementary

b.s. going on. But let me ask you this. Do you think that if you bought Levin's book and read it you would give it a better rating? Or do blood thirsty neocons make some good points and we should consider a better review? Although I think this may be a waste of time we are also seeing a battle of ideas being played out on the direction this country needs to go.

This same battle is now being played out on the Drudge debate poll. It's us vs. the Neocons! War vs Peace and prosperity. Central control vs. Free Markets! I say let the battle rage on! WE ARE CHANGING HEARTS AND MINDS! How one chooses to wage that battle is up to them and this seems harmless enough to me.

You'd think we would have learned by now about BLOWBACK...

The GOLDEN RULE dumbasses...

Due unto others as you would have them do unto you...

QUIT FUCKING AROUND WITH THIS AMAZON BOOK SHIT (aside from reporting abuse for the 1 stars Dr. Paul's books undoing what WE started)

I dare one of you book reviewers to tell me how the negative reviews does ANYTHING to help the cause of liberty. It's like sanctions, an act of war, dishonest sabotagery.

You are a reflection of the good Dr. Paul so act like it!

Viva la Revolution!

Somewhere there are men planning the next destructive and evil ploy to make this world their own... The common man is not part of that plan as we would see fit... Merely pawns to be used against one another.

I honestly don't know whether

I honestly don't know whether they don't understand the golden rule themselves or if they are just hypocrites. I'd actually like to believe it's the former, since those individuals can actually learn from their mistakes.

But the people who purportedly stand for the golden rule around here, the same people screaming at the "sheeple" they so love to mock about blowback... They turn around and act like this is different when they do it? That they are somehow immune to the laws that affect everyone else?

That would be the same attitude of moral decrepits like Newt Gingrich, who hours after carrying on an affair, goes to deliver a speech on family values. If that's the kind of excuse or pattern of logic you endorse, then go support HIM instead. Otherwise, grow up.

Never forget:

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

YES SIR DUMBASS SIR

I'm following the Golden Rule. Aren't you proud?

'Live for yourself, there's no one else more worth living for,
Begging hands and bleeding hearts
Will only cry out for more...'

Oh wait

My bad, that's not the Golden Rule, it's the 'I'm talking to a Jerk' rule.

The bossy pricks really pile up in here during the day, don't they?

'Live for yourself, there's no one else more worth living for,
Begging hands and bleeding hearts
Will only cry out for more...'

Was he using the golden rule while he was telling you about it?

:)

I think that was the Golden Ruler he was hitting you over the head with.

Just left my review on Amazon.com

I bought this book when it first came out, back when I was one of those "I agree with Ron Paul on economic policy, but ..." dudes. This book was a game-changer for me. Here's what I just wrote in my review:

This fantastic book really brought together a lot of what I already believed, but did one more very important thing: it proved to me that liberty is indivisible. You can't have economic liberty without civil liberty. You can't have fiscal liberty without a libertarian view on foreign policy. Liberty cannot be divided. Each of the seven chapters of this book are gems on their own, but when brought together in a volume like this manifesto of Paul's, something brilliant happens: the scales fall from the reader's eyes. They did mine. Areas where I still had disagreement with on Paul (ie. foreign policy) can ONLY make sense once seen in the broader picture of true liberty. Please, I beg you: read this book.

Canadian Freedom Seeker

Every second

spent giving that vile radio host 1 star is a second wasted, when we could be calling, advocating and campaigning for Paul. FOCUS. PLEASE. We are the smart campaign who is going to steal this election from the establishment, lets get back to acting like it!!!

They tried to bury us, they didn't know we were seeds. -mexican proverb

Please go through and click the "report abuse" button for each

of the spam reviews. They all came in on Jan 17-18 and a one-liner insults. All the books have been slammed with about 70+ each.

Please Listen Guys and Be Smart..

Using the report abuse button, with a complaint attached to how a prominent number of these attacks were written after "radio personality Mark Levin raved on air for this type of attack the same day" - this will be much better than making more trouble out of it.

Remember - some people think you, we, are insane. You have to be smart about these things. It's the only way to change the minds of those who are always skeptical because then Levin can use the blow-back from our community to destroy us on air again.

No more cannon fodder for the "king makers". - Or the sad fools who have no respect for the truth because money has taught them obedience to tyranny... Remember that.

Use the smart route, is usually the best.

My review of Liberty Defined.

Hitchhiker's guide to Liberty.

I love this book. I am a new-found, proud support of Dr. Paul and this is the first book of his that I have read. I studied economics in college and had never heard of Dr. Paul. I had, however, heard of Ayn Rand, Hayek, Mises, Bastiat, and Milton Friedman. When I hear Dr. Paul speak in the first 2012 Presidential debate I thought to myself "this man believes in everything I believe in". I couldn't hardly believe it. I wanted to further my education and find out how Dr. Paul applies Libertarian ideas and Austrian free-market economics to every day issues. Liberty Defined has done that for me. It covers every topic imaginable; and with each issue, Dr. Paul brilliantly articulates how to uphold the constitution and protect liberty. For me, reading Dr. Paul's words is just like reading those of Hayek and Mises. Dr. Paul understands the true meaning and intention of the Constitution and he beautifully merges this unwavering dedication to uphold the words of our founders with the knowledge bestowed upon him as a student of Austrian economics. For years to come, people will speak of the great heroes of capitalism and free-markets, the things that made America great. Those heroes are Hayek, Mises, Friedman, Bastiat, Adam Smith, Ayn Rand, and Ron Paul.

"Evil requires the sanction of the victim." - Ayn Rand

I'd recommend rating every book.

Doing it now!

Done

Went over and gave Levin a review also.
