Palin Warned the GOP !

"Paul, Paul, Ron Paul!"

The crowd demanded that mediator direct one question to Dr. Paul. How many minutes total did Paul get? CNN Republican debate time was not equitable. Fox News ignored Ron Paul almost completely as did the liberal media following the debate. The bias is coming from all directions. Palin was right when she warned the GOP not to alienate Ron Paul supporters. I am officially alienated!

I am a constitution minded conservative who has always voted Republican. In the past there has been a cry, "not to split the ticket." The appointment of conservative Supreme Court judges has always been important to me. I voted against the liberal democrats in all presidential and mid term races because I believed the Republican party was more likely to support the constitution and appoint judges who would do the same. Big federal government and giant deficits continue to grow. I carried a sign at a Tea Party rally that said, " $ 1st mortgage Bush. 2nd mortgage Obama. $" on a map of the USA. The two party system is beginning to look like a one party system. The bailouts keep coming and the debt ceiling keeps rising. I favor a strong high tech military but not a post cold war police state. The Patriot Act and NDAA assault my personal liberty.

This party is over! The Republican party lost my straight ticket vote forever. If Obama wins, so be it. When McCain shocked me with his unwavering support of controversial NDAA provisions, I was ashamed I voted for him. Many citizens do not vote because they do not want to vote for the lesser of two evils. I am going to vote but it will not be for a Democrat or a Republican.

Tomorrow morning I am opening a saving account. I hope Ron Paul will retaliate against the disrespectful way that our Constitution is being treated by the two parties and the media. The ideals, liberties, and separation of powers built into our system are like poetry that swells my heart. The "battle field is the world" mentality our government is taking has triggered my, "it is our right and our duty to throw off such government" button. My money, time, and resources will be available if Ron Paul runs as a Libertarian or on any other 3rd party ticket. We are not just energized, we are indignant.

Listen up and listen good. It is not Ron Paul that we love. It is our Constitution and the concept of Liberty endowed upon all of us by our creator. I love the United States of America. Freedom is worth a fight. Remember Dec. 25, 1990 when a super power became a 3rd world nation over night. My family was in a military base in Germany that morning. The USSR died, not with a bang but a whimper. This in not the Ron Paul Revolution. This is America fighting for her life, not against foreign invaders but against locally organically grown punks and thugs. The lesser of a few squabbling evils can not win. Deficits, bail outs, undeclared wars, and consumer confidence funny money can not be allowed to win. America is beautiful and she is worthy of a champion.

GOP Bastards...

and their brethren Democrats want Obama or Romney anyone but the man who will rightfully represent we the people we can all see the fix is in. After these GOP Bastards steal this nomination we will run 3RD Party we the people will demand it, and we will win, the message is out of the bottle bitches. RP2012 The LIBERTY Party!!

9/11 was an inside job .....time to get some answers..RP 2012

Glad to see so many

Glad to see so many Republicans like Jenn (and progressive Democrats too) coming to the same realizations that I did back in 1983-84. Since my own conversion, I have never voted such that someone could tag me with a D or an R by looking at my ballot, most of the time trying to vote for an L when possible.

Jenn, if Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, I highly encourage you to go find the Libertarian party or the Constitution party candidate that you can get behind and pull that lever for him/her immediately! Ron won't get his feelings hurt; he's been in this fight for a long time. Don't join the write-in mindset, because they (the press and the two-party duopoly) will just continue to ignore him as they are doing now. But make very sure with your vote that "they" know that they have lost your guaranteed "R" vote! I often joke with friends and family that it only feels a little dirty the FIRST time you vote libertarian. In reality, you will exit the polling place, probably for the first time in your life NOT feeling that you need to go home and take a shower! It is truly an exhilarating experience to finally know, that you know, that you KNOW that they no longer have a hold on your heart and soul. Best wishes! In Liberty, MarkH

Re: Many citizens do not vote because they do not want to vote for the lesser of two evils.

I decided after the 2004 elections not to vote for the lesser of two evils ever again. Voted for Chuck Baldwin in 2008. There is always a choice that's better than staying home!

This is a powerful statement! Thanks for writing and posting it. I hope Republican leaders come here and see the depth of disgust for what they have tried to foist upon us, year after year. A sizable number of us are drawing a line in the sand and saying, "No more!" (You might be interested in the statement that I drew up, which you can access via the links in my sig.)

They are

pushing me out of the party..... again. I left way back. Ron Paul has brought me back. Now the estblishment is telling me they don't want me back. Well I guess it will be Obama winning in 2012. Because, like many. I cannot vote for the lesser of the two evils anymore. I wish all good luck... hope I'm wrong. But, I don't think so... The USA will never be great again..... It seems the establishment has a major stranglehold on the minds of the sheep... All they are voting for today is for someone that was able to cover his sins by making the person that asked a question the bad guy. Please wake up!

Palin is part of the problem.

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

Hang tough.

We have to stand strong, and we have to keep informing those who are willing to accept our information. It is our duty to raise our children to be taller and stronger than our own generation. Our founding fathers did not lay down there guns and concede when the revolutionary war got difficult. They stood strong until most Americans were on their side.

Until the past few weeks, I always believed that media bias was more about ratings than manipulation. As our army of citizens grows stronger, we force their censorship to become more obvious.

For years we have known that we are offered little choice among the 2 presidential candidates in November. In the past, their similarities have been masked petty differences like calls for war, abortion rights, and economic stimulus packages. The target never changes, only the path we take to get there.

But this year we may force a historic election between Romney and Obama (baring a Paul surge), in which there is no difference.

Due to our efforts, the propaganda is becoming so obvious that our fellow citizens will not be able to ignore it for much longer.

Yes, never give up

If you have woken up to the real meaning of Liberty and Freedom, what are you going to go back to? To me, there isn't any other way of thinking other than respect, and common sense. I cannot find myself going back to any other way of thinking!

So as a libertarian, I will always Love Liberty, and stand and Fight for Freedom!

The Libertarian Party isn't really a party in the same sense as the others. Because it does not stand for any special interest group or existing establishment. Libertarian's always want persuade others to throw off such things and the notions that created them.

I have a lot of respect for Ron and the Constitution

With all the media and political establishment bias against Ron Paul I have already decided after this election I will switch from Republican to Independent as a symbol of my disgust. I was a Ron Paul supporter last election and saw the media bias. It made me realize how powerful the media was to sway public opinion. After this election seeing Ron Paul rise to the 'top' which for anyone else would mean a lot of media coverage and having him stay strong in the polls despite the media ignoring and marginalizing him there is no further reason to trust the establishment. Of course I didn't already, but last election some people might have felt on the outside it was justified for the media to ignore Ron Paul since his poll numbers were low. Obviously the media had a big role in creating that, but this time it leaves no question that the media and political establishment are enemies of freedom, people and the Constitution.

As a side note

There is something called the Free State Project. It is a movement that strives to bring people together who want to live in a free society. The immediate goal is to bring 20,000 people to the state of New Hampshire. Participants aren't expected to move right away although you can of course do so at anytime. The plan is after 20,000 pledge to move to New Hampshire everyone who has pledged will move to the state within 5 years.

Some facts and figures:

There is no personal income or sales tax in New Hampshire. There is no law mandating adults wear seat belts, motorcycle helmets or buy car insurance. It has one of the lowest unemployment rates and is overall the freest state in the country.

There are currently 12 Free State Project early movers who were elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2010.

Ron Paul had the highest voter turnout percentage here than any other state in 2008.

To become a participant of the Free State Project you must sign a Statement of Intent which reads: "I hereby state my solemn intent to move to the State of New Hampshire. Once there, I will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of civil government is the protection of life, liberty, and property."

If you like the concept of the Free State Project but don't currently want to become a participant you can choose to become a 'Friend'. If nothing else I think it's good because it adds one more person who is interested in the movement and gives the project further credibility to those who visit the site. There is a monthly graph on their website that shows a few statistics such as the number of new participants/friends and how they heard about this project. To date there is over 11,000 participants and nearly 1,000 people who physically moved to New Hampshire. I should also mention it is absolutely free to sign up. Here is the link to do that: http://freestateproject.org/join

There is tons of information you can read on their website. From what I have observed the people are very welcoming and willing to show potential Free Staters around the area or actively help participants move into their new homes after arriving. One last thing to keep in mind is that anyone can be part of this project. It doesn't matter what political party you are affiliated with, whether you are religious or nonreligious, what kind of specific activism you want to pursue. As long as you agree with the Statement of Intent and are nonviolent you can become a participant.

For more information please feel free to write me, contact them on their official website or 'Like' them on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FreeStateProject.org

GOD BLESS THE PATRIOTS! DRAFT RON PAUL 2012. This revolution of ideas WILL NOT be stopped. We ALL have to let the "establishment" know that they are NOT going to succeed in sidelining Dr. Paul. It is up to US to help Dr. Paul spread this message of Liberty and we MUST NOT let up for one second. WE ARE GOING TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN OUR ENDEAVORS!!!!!! BE VIGILANT AND UNWAVERING!!!! Ron Paul 2012. For Liberty, for Peace, for REAL! TELL SOMEBODY!

Ron Paul 2012. For Liberty, for Peace, for REAL.

You took the words...

Right out of my mouth! My sentiments exactly. This two-party system is definitely looking like one-party rule. If the Republicans stuck to their principles over the last 30 to 40 years how come the size of government has gotten bigger year-over-year?

I've already decided to vote for Ron Paul no matter what, 3rd party or write-in. I don't give a crap if Obama gets re-elected again.

As far as I'm concerned, the neo-cons can deal with it. Heck, I'd even go so far as to blame them for it.

sharkhearted's picture

Bravo to this post!

I am right there with ya. Ticket republican voter here who is ashamed that he voted for McCain in 2008.

The GOP "leadership" is shortsighted, visionless, and hijacked by neocons. When I look at some of them talk they might as well be saying blah blah blah duh duh duh because that is all I hear lol.

Its Ron Paul 2012 or bust baby!

Write in!

Either way, it will be what I believe in!
I refuse to hold my nose when I vote ever again!

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

I'm not sure if I'm going to vote Obama or not if Ron isn't Nom

Sometimes I wish Ron Paul would run for Governor in a small state and cede from the union.

That's the closest thing to Utopia I could imagine.

Fight the Ron Paul blackout on the Daily Paul (now 'P AU L'), put his removed poster back as your avatar:

Texas Maybe???

Jest sayin'

Panama expats support Ron Paul

It would need to be the size of Texas...

...due to the flood of Freedom loving Americans who would flock there!

believe that!

believe that!

Search i842much's previous post:Throw away your vote.

In 2008 I had to Throw away vote, if need be I will do it aggain. I vote on Principle not on party, and not my paycheck, many people are sucked into a false belief vortex because they belong to a union, and the union picks their candidate, with promises of prosperity, How has that worked out so far? I am sure this happens with many organizations in the financial district too. It truly is a one party system with Banks like Goldman Sachs and BankAmerica at the top. If we show the voting public we can elect an official with out the help of corporate millions then perhaps we again be a government "Of the People, By the People and For the People.
If it becomes necassary,"THROW AWAY YOUR VOTE!"

Love of God , Love of Country, Love of family, Love of Life, Love of Liberty. I would take a bullet for this man.

I've never looked at it as a throw away

If I vote who and what I believe in, I never look at it as a throw away vote. I take pride in voting for the person and principles I believe in.

I'm not voting for Ron Paul based upon whether or not I think he can win. IMO, voting based upon principle is not a vote that goes into a trash can.

If someone came up to me and said that they liked Ron Paul, but voted for Romney or Obama because they thought Ron Paul couldn't win, I'd be much more apt to call that a throw away vote.

Just my two cents

If not ron Paul, vote libertarian

Sitting at home means less votes and they will speculate whether they could have won. Give our 10% to Gary Johnson when would usually get on less than 1% and when the margin of victory is less than 10% it will be clear why they lost.

I'm with you

I regret not voting on principle in 2008 - I was hoodwinked by the frenzied coverage that it would be a close race..."So I better vote for the lesser of two evils or the greater will win by a tiny margin". That type of fear is how "they" keep a closed, 2-party system...and I'm slightly ashamed I stepped in the trap.

Not this time.

Wholeheartedly agree!

I agree with you, my first comment by the way. The party has also lost all of my support. Actually I will be taking the time to learn about the independent candidates from the township level to the feds. I am officially ticked off.

Ron Paul is the only choice for me!

"The first step on the way to VICTORY is to recognize the enemy." by Corrie Ten Boom

I have always voted for the person based on issues

I joined the GOP because Ron Paul explained to me that the GOP is just a shell, it's the people that matter, and that Bush had betrayed so many conservatives, they left the Party. By leaving the party, in some areas, like mine, Democrat operatives have moved in and taken offices. These are Neoliberal RINO. Unless we take this party back and restore the Republic, it's GuLag America for us.

There are 36 third parties in the USA, though a third party can be set up to vet future candidates. Ron paul was vetted in the Libertarian Party. Ibama was vetted in The New Party. Decline to State Party AKA Independents was established for CIA etc, who work for the government no matter what party the president is in.

Americans are so unhappy with government, they have scattered themselves in third parties and Indys... and none of these collectives have any chance of doing anything more than vetting future major party candidates, or mothballing losers, like Bob Barr and Gary Jonston.

Ralph Nader taught me allot about third parties, in that we had to have 7 behind us to get on the ballot, and all our work was not to be president, but to seek out the corruption and stop it. MSM has been slaughtering Ralph Nader for decades. Now they slaughter Ron Paul. The difference is under Nader, we took up under many third parties and Indys.. I began as a Libertarian.. Ralph convinced me to go Indy so I could work in many states. Under Ron Paul, who is telling us to join the GOP, when we spread out to third parties and Indy, we weaken him, and will lose.

Third parties are tools for the major parties. Ideas are nice, but ACTION is where it's at.

Lost a lot of fath

I lost a lot of faith in America when I heard that crowd cheer for Gingrich at the beginning of the last debate. It was as if they were watching a football game or something. It amazes how people don't realize how serious this is. In SC they have one of the highest unemployment and they don't seem to care, numb I guess. But haven said that, we must not give up hope. Someday these issues will all become obvious, I just figured that it would of happened by now. RP saw this 40 years ago and still here we are, I don't know how he does it.

It is better to look dumb and not be, than to look smart and not be.

Some people will cheer for

Some people will cheer for anybody who prints them 'free' money. They don't understand that this 'free' money doesn't make them any more wealthy then before. In fact it enables a '1%er' with a basic understanding of macroeconomics to steal their remaining wealth without them ever noticing.

I always use the summer of 2008 to explain it to people. IMHO, the bush tax credit mailed out that summer was one of the biggest frauds in American history. Its pretty easy for people to understand the prices went up much more than their buying power went up.

I came to the same conclusion 4 years ago

And in the last Presidential election, I did not vote for a single Republican or Democrat on the entire ticket. I did some research, and voted for the best person in either the Libertarian, Constitution, Tax Payers, or other parties that were Libertarian-leaning. It felt GREAT not to vote for the R or D. I will only vote for Ron if he the nominee, otherwise I will do the same thing again.

Same here

I did the same. Feels good to be able to say, "you can't blame me, I voted for Bob Barr" Although I really should have voted for Ron Paul. But still, at least I didn't vote for obvious idiots just because the MSM told me to.

It is better to look dumb and not be, than to look smart and not be.

No Gray Area

The way I feel is that we either vote someone in (Ron Paul) to save the Constitution or let the country fall (re-electing Obama). The others are nibbling us to a slow death. I would love to see the country saved, but if that is not to be, at least we could start fresh after an Obama collapse.

thank you for sharing

That was amazing.
