New Video: Bill Maher on Ron Paul's Golden Rule vs. Gingrich's Meanness (1/20/12)

they give the Ron Paul tea partiers a bad name here and I think its BALONEY!

I got into a huge, HUGE fight with SCGOP this week, dragging a lot of folks into it through the e-mail getting forwarded around (state chairman, Sen DeMint, Trey Gowdy, former state Chairwoman etc etc). I sort of simply asked the SCGOP to apologize for booing Jesus and tore off a strip from there. It is totally classic and maybe I'll post it later.

Turns out one of the anti-Paul fellows in the argument turned up on Maddow Thursday night, acting all "Huckabee-ish". I had no idea who I had been engaging with in the e-mail and let him know as much. I challenged him to a "Scripture-off" concerning politics/current events....he never replied to me after that. 'Magine that. Turns out he worked for Sanford, and was a former state executive committeeman to the SCGOP. And he couldn't handle my spiritual/philosophical arguments!

One of the other heavy-weights griping about RP was the good lawyer that told off Righthaven and basically fried them to the core, threw them out of SC...so I was nice but firm with him and did thank him for Righthaven but gave him a good talking to, too.

So this is another inside-party e-mail gone round the state a la Butterfly. We should probably start a bail chip-in cause I've angered lots of folks, most I don't even know. Heeee heeee wooooooooooooooooo!

It's annoying how they keep talking about Gingrich like he has ANYTHING positive to offer.

"Speaks well." That's the sum total of his skill and ability. "Can talk himself out of trouble."

Wow, THAT'S not a warning sign is it? He's a master at doing whatever he wants and then talking his way out of trouble.

Nevermind that he's a selfish, megalomanic, draconian-law-loving f*ck up...he's so amazing at getting away with it, people have good reason to vote for him. That was this group's conclusion.
