Time to hold our candidate accountable?
We didn't even have a speaker at the caucus on CSPAN. Surely that caucus is representative of many if not most others. It's like the campaign wasn't even trying. Iowa wasn't a Practice Pre-Test, it was the real thing, and the Paul Campaign looked pretty bad to me.
A distant fifth place is dismal. Dr. Paul got $25 million dollars of our money since the campaign started. Where the heck is it? It doesn't seem to have been spent on organization, at least not one that seems to be working. The grassroots can't run the campaign. We need leadership and coordination now like that which we expect to have in the White House should Dr. Paul make it there. God help us and our dream of "Hope For America" if this is the best they can do. The good Dr. has spoken publicly and repeatedly about how surprised he is at the support his message has gotten. It's time to stop being surprised and start taking command.
Hickupbee took his money and hired Rollins, a proven winner. Who's Dr. Paul got, and what have they won lately? I feel like I've been here and done this before. This feels like the self inflicted mortal wound of ineptitude that torpedoed the Buchanan campaigns from within in the 2000 and '96 cycles. They'd better serious up, and professionalize at the top , or the grass roots is just wasting time and a LOT of money.
