CNN Poll Shows Ron Paul Most Likely Beats Obama In November, Newt Does Not

The message that needs to be spread is...a vote for Newt is a vote for defeat in November...a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Victory over Obama.

A CNN Poll shows Ron Paul in statistical tie with Barack Obama if they were to face each other in the Presidential election this November.

Newt Gingrich is 9% behind Obama and doesn't stand a chance against Obama come November. Democrats know this and want Gingrich or Romney to be the Republican candidate as they know the 99% won't go for either of them. That's why the MSNBC shows with Matthews, Schulz and Maddow always try to promote either of them over Ron Paul.

Here are the facts...

Ron Paul can beat Obama on Peace, not war. Obama said he would get us out of the wars "the first thing in office, and he failed.

Ron Paul can beat Obama on civil liberties as he is against the Patriot Act and Obama extended the Patriot Act.

Ron Paul wants to close Guantanamo and Obama said he would, but failed again.

Ron Paul will cut $1 trillion from the budget the first year in office and Obama is increasing our debt by trillions enslaving our youth for decades to come.

Most of our youth are voting for Ron Paul this time around instead of Obama because they are tired of being lied to and are concerned about their future. They also don't want to be drafted, which is probably a given should Gingrich, Romney or Santorum become President as all they want to do is bomb, bomb bomb, bomb, bomb Iran.

If you are Evangelical and fall for the Fox News propaganda...

ALL POLLS ARE WRONG

Here is why I say that. When a candidate wins third in Iowa, second in New Hampshire and fourth in SC you just bet they have some serious support. If a poll shows that Ron Paul could beat Obama then I would say that poll is correct. But if a poll says Romney is tied with Obama then that poll is not correct. Ron Paul has a great number of supporters and those supporters will not vote the status quo under any circumstances. Neither Romney, Newt or Santorum can beat Obama without those supporters. If they poll a couple thousand people there might be 40 RP supporters in that poll. There may only be 40 RP supporters in that poll but his support if far greater and is enough to throw the election to Obama.

Old poll

This race changes by the day.

Yeah...

But not when I wrote the article... The points on the article are still relevant. Obama doesn't match up well with Ron Paul.

Is sure is!

Is sure is!

The way I see it.

If Ron Paul is the nominee, he will really cause Americans to do some soul searching about what kind of government we want. He'll stand as stark contrast to what we have. It seems like everytime they run a poll on government satisfaction, about 80% say "hell no, I'm not satisfied". So, where are these people? Are they really ready to line up and vote for Mitt or Obama again? The media is really doing damage to the GOP by marginalizing Ron Paul at every opportunity. Fox even showed pictures of the candidates in high school, and for Ron Paul, they showed a picture of George Washington, as they all laughed.

Here's one of my questions submitted for CNN debate

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/category/cnn-debate/

Congressman Paul: This week's Gallup poll revealed a surge in support from younger Republican voters, putting you in the lead among the 18 to 34 year old demographic. This unprecedented move suggests you may have shaken off the so-called electability problem just as Ronald Reagan did in 1980. What is your strategy to convince Republicans age 35 and up that you're not merely a protest candidate, that you're the right choice to take on Barack Obama in November?

I'll take Ron Paul in the center square for the win!

This is one

66 year old who has already been convinced. I am also convinced that Romney, Newt or Santorum cannot beat Obama. If you cannot get the Independent vote and some blue collar Democrats you will loose against Obama. He will break open that billion dollar campaign chest, turn on the smooth talk and it will be all over.

I like the premise

of the question. In reality, no matter what the next (lame) question they throw at Ron Paul, he should go ahead and say, "let me first start out by answering the question you asked the other three candidates as you media folks have a habit of leaving me out..." then proceed to answer both questions. This is called taking control of the situation and in my humble opinion, shows leadership.

Can hardly wait for the debate.

Ron Paul has stated closing Guantanamo. Could this be a stronger issue with the passage of NDAA?

Your Right

I am not worried about a Paul Obama showdown, in fact I'm looking forward to it. We know Ron Paul will destroy Obama (the thought of a debate between the two....what a great day). The problem is most the GOP voters think Gingrich has a better chance against Obama. I hope we can prove them wrong.

"I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.” B. Franklin

Is it too late already?

With the passage of the NDAA, which also declares the United States as a "battlefield," the now President/dictator can declare marshal law and suppend our entire constitution and government. Under the NDAA there is a possibility that we could never have another election. Think about that. Have we been silent too long? When will the American people wake up?

If that were true, why even

If that were true, why even bother promoting Ron Paul or doing anything for that matter? That's a very pessimistic view on things. There isn't going to be marshall law. The idea of that is fairly ridiculous. If the president was going to declare marshall law, he would have done it without the ndaa. The ndaa doesn't expand the executives power. People said the same thing about Bush. He had the perfect opportunity to do it with 9-11. Stay focused and dont't get caught up in the conspiracies and paranoia.

Because hope remains.

As an Army verteran and retired police officer I am worried about the decline of Liberity and Freedom in our country. Exspecially worrisome is the large scale move to federalize local police and training of our military to act upon American citizens. I have seen enough to make me worried, although I don't think paranoid or a conspiracy nut would describe me.

Paranoid or conspiracy nut

Are what people say to marginalize people. If what people are worried about isn't going to happen, so what. Only people who are (a) brainwashed or (b) have an investment in downplaying it care.

I know hope remains. That's

I know hope remains. That's why i'm saying to not be so pessimistic. That's fine that you were involed in law enforcement. But i still don't think martial law is coming. And i refer to the idea of that as a conspiracy because according to conspiracy theorists, marshall law should have been declared several times already. Yet, here we are, still no marshall law. It would take A LOT to successfully implement marshall law in america. It's not going to happen. New users to this site, myself being one of them, may get turned away if they see people saying things about marshall law and fema camps and other non sense like that. There is hope. Ron Paul is that hope. Stay positive and realistic. Everything will work out in the end.

pessimistic?

I suggest you reread my post. I didn't say martial law was coming. I stated that with the passage of NDAA, which reinforces the Patriot Act, Martial law was a "possibility." You mention conspiracy theories, not I. You then mention F.E.M.A. camps as if to link them to martial law. F.E.M.A. camps do exist so I don't see why you would call that non sense, exspecially when it was yourself who mention them. You then suggest I shouldn't say what you, in fact, said because it might turn people off. I believe in the free exchange of Ideas between all people. I respect others and thier thoughts even if I don't share them. I can only express my thoughts based on my experiences. I mentioned the possibility of martial law in response to how far would elites go if Dr. Paul became an unstoppable force in the coming election. If Dr. Paul became the front runner in a swell of support what would be done to stop him. We have only to look back at the Supreme court stopping the recount in Florida and instilling Bush Jr., and the voting irregularities in Ohio to see that things are not always as they appear. But, I guess you would consider those facts another conspiracy.) Thanks for your comments though.

Produce evidence of a fema

Produce evidence of a fema camp. Don't worry, i'll wait.

Evidence?

Evidence? Look it up yourself. I suggest fema.gov. Of course, you're probably looking for martial law detention camps. Again, not what I said. F.E.M.A. has acquired several sites, including deactivated military installations which have been designated for emergency relocation in case of a major natural disaster, or national emergency, hence "F.E.M.A. camps." This is fine by me and within the scope of F.E.M.A.'s preparedness & readiness. You, I suspect, are looking for something else...

You seem to have a bend towards conspiracy theories as you seem to look for them in what others say. Facts will support my ascertion that our voting system has been upsurped before, (Supreme court stopping Florida recount, voting irregularities in Ohio), my original thought, again, was would the controling elitist go so far as to declare martial law to stop an election that they knew they couldn't control and would not elect "thier chosen," as opposed to a populist, people's, choice. I stick by my contention that the NDAA, by declaring the United States a battlefield, further cleared the way for a declaration of martial law. As an Army veteran, I believe I'm right that in that: 1. The United States has declared a "war on terror." 2. The NDAA establishes the battlefield for the war on terror as "The United States." 3. On a battlefield, during a declared war, martial law is the law. So, technically it could be that we are already under martial law, it just hasn't been enforced yet.

As I've already said, I'm not a conspiracy nut, but the situation, as it stands, should give one pause to think. I've paused long enough. I thank you for your responses. But I reject your questioning me on things that you first exspoused. I wish you well, and continued peace and freedom. I will now turn my attention to support Dr. Ron Paul for president, as I long for a more Constitutional governance.

PS: I will check back, so that if you post a reply, I will read it. It wouldn't be proper of me not to.

Peace.

You can't censor ppl

Those things are possibilities no matter how much it sucks. Eleven years ago who would've ever believed we'd be getting groped at airports.

good point

I can understand the need for security at airports. But I don't agree to the extremes being taken. When you grope children, seniors, and the disabled, it's gone way too far. It's no longer a security issue to me, it seems to be done more for control.

I'm not censoring anyone by

I'm not censoring anyone by suggesting to be positive. Of course anything could happen. But the likelyhood is extremely slim. Tsa at airports and all out martial law are not even anywhere near eachother on the spectrum of possibility, no matter how much doomsayers think they are. So many factors to consider.

censoring, no

But you did imply that people wouldn't like for some things to be said. Might I suggest that you read a little on how Hitler came to power in Germany. Restriction on who could travel, security check points, and other things which are ocurring now in America. I'm not saying it's going to happen but, history should warn us not to convince ourselves that it can't happen. Ps: I'm not a "doomsayer" either.

Not really

I think it is more positive to stay realistic than pretend laws set up for martial law aren't. Then you know how to solve the problem

I agree

I agree. To me, being positive, is to know what is going on, why it is being done, and where it could lead, Good or bad. But to say it can't happen or that it doesn't exist, to me is being falsely positive.

Also..

Under Bush our government actions were directed at a terrorist threat lcated outside the U.S. Today the government focus is quickly moving to a local terrorist threat. Although we might not see eye to eye, I thank you for your comment. Let us continue to work to reclaim our constitution and Liberity.

TSA MONEYBOMB TICKER UP AND RUNNING AT CAMPAIGN WEBSITE

Also received this e-mail from Ron today.....spread the word!!!

What kind of America do I envision?

How about one where our God-given rights are respected?

Where our federal government stays within its constitutional limits, doesn't spend more than it takes in, and has a balanced budget?

Where our defenses are stronger than ever, because we're not stretching our fighting men and women thin all over the globe?

Or where you and I don't have to have our privacy invaded and our dignity stripped away just to get on a plane?

You and I have a chance to rock the status quo and bring real change to America in this election.

But I need your help right away if we are to win this race.

Please, contribute whatever you are able to my End the TSA Money Bomb to help me keep the spotlight on this critical issue and highlight that I am the only presidential candidate who is serious about stopping this out-of-control bureaucracy.

Yesterday, my son, Senator Rand Paul, encountered the TSA's ridiculousness firsthand when he was detained and prevented from making his flight to Washington, D.C. to speak at the March for Life - all because he refused their disgusting full body pat-down after they detected an “anomaly” in his scan.

They even got upset when he made a call to let his Senate office know he wouldn't be able to keep his commitment at the March!

After Rand refused to back down for almost two hours, they finally agreed to his common-sense proposal: let him take a second scan.

Of course, nothing showed up, and Rand caught a later flight.

Americans are subjected to this kind of treatment every day in our nation's airports, and few have the kind of opportunity that Rand and I do to speak out about it.

I've led in Congress by proposing legislation to hold TSA and all other federal agents accountable to the same laws that apply to every other American, and I'll lead in the White House with my Plan to Restore America, which completely abolishes the TSA.

My Plan also places responsibility for security back in the hands of private property owners, who have incentive to keep their customers safe without subjecting them to unnecessary harassment.

Despite the nationwide outrage at the TSA's tactics, President Obama refuses to take action to rein them in, and you can be sure my establishment Republican opponents won't lift a finger to protect the American people's right to travel without being assaulted by the government.

If we're serious about creating change and restoring passengers' liberties, we must take action now.

Please, donate whatever you are able to my End the TSA Money Bomb today so I can have every resource possible to spread my message of freedom and win this race.

For Liberty,

Ron Paul

Florida debate

Although the news medias all seem to be ignoring Dr. Paul. His message still gets across. I heard all the major news outlet refer to Dr. Paul as "unelectable." I'm beginning to understand that what they are really saying is that the American people can not elect a president. It will not be allowed. Only the elite's choices will be allowed for the people to choose between so that either way, the American people lose. President Obama does not want to go up against Dr. Paul. Unlike the other canidates, there would be no "mud" to sling. Dr. Paul is a steady, level headed conservative. Dr. Paul is exactly what the American people need and want. I feel Dr. Paul is also marginalized in most polls to discourage his supporters.

I wish they would...

Consider doing a debate for the people. Let the people ask every question. If I was given the opportunity to ask the candidates anything. I would ask them, right there on national television. "Out of all of the other candidates besides yourself, still here on stage with you, who do you consider the most honest and truthful person with the most integrity?"
