Thanks again, John Stossel
Submitted by Rowdius on Mon, 01/23/2012 - 18:57I didn't see this mentioned here on the DP, but last week John Stossel of Fox Business did a whole show defending Ron Paul's foreign policy.
His great summary at the end of of the show is here:

Didn't touch the real issues...the growing empire
the global elites that influence/control countries (including the USA)
that this is a fight for sovereignty
the US two party system is an illusion to enhance US working class productivity by making us think we have a say in our government
the war is used to oppress working class compensation/organization which enhances what they call "productivity"
RON PAUL IS THE PEOPLE'S CHAMPION!
Baby Steps, Baby Steps...
..That's how it's done.
Stossel is smart, a good ally.
Did you notice the great point he made on Himself vs the EXPERTS?....
"THEY" are the students of militarism, while he,Stossel studied marketing...Blew me away!!!
Thank You John Stossel
"Beyond the blackened skyline, beyond the smoky rain, dreams never turned to ashes up until.........
...Everything CHANGED !!
I thought this was an
I thought this was an excellently-covered episode. Stossel was fair as usual, and I liked how he successfully defended non-interventionism against the interventionist, police the world arguments of the colonel on the show.

Eloquent and effective!
Share, share, SHARE!!!
Yes - We owe a large debt of gratitude to John Stossel.
I saw this and was utterly amazed FOX aired his show.
It seems like they ignore Ron Paul 24/7.
But then Stossel or the Judge gets a show from time to time and they both are excellent liberty thinkers.
THANK YOU to John Stossel!
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul
We do need a strong military
But we don't need to police the whole world.
Exactly. It's so simple, yet the special interests want to shake you into intervention.
This man does not seem to be lying to you, nor is he trying to endanger America. If there is anyone who is truly genuine in the media, Stossel is it.
His books are also recommended: his comment about ADM sponsoring Bill Clinton several hundred k as well as several hundred k to longtime friend Bob Dole in 1996 made a very good point about who our political leaders really respond to, and the obviousness of the establishment always having a stringed puppet at their beck and call so they can keep grunting, squealing, and gorging themselves at the public trough.
Stossel and The Judge...
are the only two people regularly on TV that I trust.
I also like Ben Swann
Is that his name? From the show Reality Check? And of course there's Jon Stewart. I never thought I'd be getting some of my most unbiased political commentary from a comedy show!
Agree
Stossel and the Judge, the rest are snakes
I have
never seen this guy before, But he has the right idea.
"Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past you must fight just to keep them alive"
John Stossel rocks.

Here's a really good debate from that show

Stossel for VP. B-)
(Because we'll need The Judge for the Supreme Court.)
Or if Stossel, a non-politician, doesn't feel comfy in the VP (and possibly succession to presidential) role, how about press secretary? If anyone can explain Ron's positions better than Ron it's John. B-)

"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."
That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.
Love this man
When I was younger I thought Stossel was a neocon but I still loved him nonetheless and thought "this guy's different, what he says makes sense and he explains his reasoning instead of yelling louder than people."
Then I found out he was a libertarian. That "explains it!"
John and Judge!
Peace sells... but who's buying?
Do you have links
for the entire episodes?
John and Judge
They are the best!
Another link for Stossel
In case others have a system like mine that wouldn't play Fox's video, here's the youtube link:

Go Stossel! What a man!
I've noticed that I can't
I've noticed that I can't play videos when I link in from here. If I come in using the address bar, it's fine.
The retired colonel is about
The retired colonel is about the most certifiably paranoid and desperate man I seen in a long time. These are the people running the military and foreign policy.
Chicken little and the boy who cried wolf.
No wonder this country has problems.

Hello Tex
Yeah, you kind of get the feeling he doesn't exactly sleep good at night, or that maybe the sweat was about to break out on his brow at any moment.

Somehow I also missed this gem last week.
Thanks for posting, Rowdius.
How to get this kind of great shows to the general public is the question. . .
Share it with everyone you know
And ask them to do the same.

The Big Picture for Ron Paul - A Game Over for his Opponents
The last place finish in SC mobilized me to create a new weapon for Ron Paul.
I wrote an article comparing Ron Paul to the other candidates and presenting his positions on issues I find most important:
http://www.dailypaul.com/207628/the-big-picture-for-ron-paul...
From the comments section:
"This article is very well put together. It tells its readers something about Ron Paul's personal life, his record of being both principled AND smart, and educates the reader about what a good government should look like and what a real statesman looks like."
"This thread alone is extremely admirable. ... great conglomeration of ideas to Dr. Paul's merit."
Front Page explanation
Very well explained with common sense.
