Turn the tables on Christian leaders!

Let’s face the real facts, the so called Church leaders of the day are the ones really cleaning our clocks!!! I wish Dr. Paul would forcefully come out in the debates and simply state publically that so many of today’s social ills are due to the failures of the church not the state. So many issues of the heart can only be ultimately resolved by faith community and not temporary, hollow, pompous legislative decrees! Our founders knew that the state is very limited and inadequate to handle the deeper issues of the day. The Church should step up to the plate and take back her responsibility, and stop relying on the state to solve all her problems! The Church needs a turnover in leadership just as much as Congress. I believe this challenge would play out well with the older church crowd on super Tuesday.

• Many of today’s Church leaders are wrongfully resorting to the civil realm with an Old Testament attitude of FORCE because they have failed in the higher realm to lead by winsome examples.

• The Church leaders of the day have perverted God’s natural law that allows for man the FREEWILL to sin unto HIMSELF ONLY.

• Expose the hypocrisy of PRO-WAR is not PRO-LIFE

• STOP acting out of a spirit of FEAR and go back to peacefully following your convictions of scripture.

• Maybe, you could reprioritize your budgets to spend less on comfortable buildings and more on hurting people like the homeless and those with drug addictions.

• …

I’m sure we could all list quite a few more failures of today’s national church leadership.

And seems to me that could be one slippery slope

There are many strong, conservative pastors who have their own websites/programs who are strongly pro-Paul. Would be more than a 'pity' to turn their listeners away from Dr. Paul. Santorum has hung himself in so many interviews that I can't imagine that the Staff won't have found PLENTY to which he can speak!

No risk, no reward.

Yes there are some, but a whole lot more that don't. So far that stategy does not seemed to have worked.

We rightly advocate changing the role of civil gov't down to the ground. However, we must give the people a humanitarian vision of who's gonna take up the slack in order to help those who are truly in need...the Church! We must do a better job of explaining the proper role of the Church in relation to the State.

Dr Paul needs to come out and ask the Christian

Church's to show him in the New Testement, were Christ would condone these wars? Christ would never support any type of offensive attack, because some people 'might' want to harm us. "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse... Do not become wise within yourselves. Repay no one evil for evil... seeking peace with ALL men; not avenging yourselves... Vengeance is MINE, I will repay says the Lord... If your enemy hungers, feed him; if he thirsts give drink to him; for doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome the evil with good." -Jesus, Romans 12:14-2

He wouldn't dare state this, but for education: Jesus said, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees” (Mt. 16:6). In verse 12, the leaven is identified as the teaching of Pharisees and Sadducees.
Israel's official book of worship is the Talmud, as Judaism is the teaching of the Talmud and the Torah. The Talmud is the oral writings of the Pharisees. So, in other words the Christians who praise Israel and the Jews, are disobeying Christ staunch warning. He didn't say to have hatred or harm them, he said not to follow them or what they say.

Throw Out Dr. Paul?

...throw out Congress? My point is that just as Dr. Paul is a rarity in Congress, there are exceptions in Christian circles. MANY. Not a few.

Didn't Dr. Paul very clearly state that we will win if we achieve the intellectual understanding of Liberty to the degree that by accepting EVERYONE who endorses him and that THAT does not mean we "endorse" everyone's personal beliefs.

The Daily Paul provides a forum where individual beliefs and ideas about freedom can be expressed; however, if Unity in Diversity..a LOT of votes...is our goal, lets please think before posting sweeping, condemning statements about huge blocks of potential voters. Can't we be above that?

Sure the radical group of Evangelicals who think we need to help Mr. God bring about some kind of apocalypse by joining Israel in blowing up the Middle East are nuts. They aren't going to vote for Dr. Paul. But a lot of other evangelicals will and are doing things with their congregations.

Want to Know why Christians Praise War?

You should watch this documentary by We Hold These Truths and Strait Gate Ministries. If you know any Christians who praise these anti Christian wars, and want to save their soul, have them watch this documentary. Becuase, they aren't going to like their Judgement for following the deceievers of Christ's teachings. Even if you aren't Christian, you should watch to learn the brainwashing tools used to promote war. http://vimeo.com/29901084

I hate to say this

but religious leaders calling for wars, slavery and control of how people live through the force of government is practically a tradition in every country. Those who really act differently seem to have been consistently in the minority or silent about it.

I just stopped...

... going to church. Ron Paul gets my tithe. He's doing the Lord's work. I would love to join other here in Dallas with "War is not Pro Life" poster in front of churches on a Sunday morning. Shame them with public protests. I think they have a big Bible Convention in Dallas soon. let's go spoil their party!

Exception to the rule...

I agree, however, it's just not what our exceptional country was founded on. The unwritten rule of Separation of Church and State was laid out in Exodus 18 to Moses and was for the benefit of the Church. Most of our early religious leaders would not have stooped down to the lower, less important state level.

Nice to see another realist in the house. I am a Newbie to you my friend but I like true critical thinking. Thank you.
