Ron Paul 2012 - Restoring the Founding Fathers American Dream

I'm gonna check my change if you are the store clerk

1) The seventy weeks of Daniel comprise a time period of 490 years (490/70 = 1 week equivalent to 7 years).
See Sir Robert Anderson "The Coming Prince"
2) Most expositors give a date for the crucifixion between 29 an 33 AD.
3) By your sleight of hand you add one year to 33 years and come up with 70 years.
4) When it comes to the interpretation of prophesy you are willing to strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.

Gap theory

1) Each week referenced in this period is 7 years (Sir Robert Anderson "The Coming Prince")
2) Most all expositors date the crucifixion between 29 and 33 AD (this is another topic for another day)
3) It is amazing to me that you can condense 33 AD to 70 AD
into a 1 year period of time ( I count 37 years which would
be about 5 of Daniels weeks with a little change left over.

Preterists use a hermeneutic that strains at flies and
swallows camels when prophesy is on the agenda.

4) Without a gap between the 69th and 70th week Romans should have destroyed Jerusalem in 40 AD.

Ron Paul 2012 - Restoring the Founding Fathers American Dream

Ever wonder why so many Christians support America’s many wars

This IS a must see. Thank you for posting this incredible information. If people only knew! the whole world would change for the better. Please watch.

Ecclesietes 3:1-8

King Asa went to war in the latter part of his kingdom against Gos's wishes.

Lots of success-

I have had huge success having people watch this. The key is to get people confused
about Israel and the military to watch it.
Once they understand how they have been manipulated, it's a big wow moment.

Just had someone last night who has listened to Hagey for years, and always wondered about him.
After watching this, she has completely changed her view.

It is a real eye opener.

Flawed theology/eschatology combined with neo-con foreign policy have totally blinded them. They have ears but don't hear and eyes but don't see. All Evangelical Christian leaders (http://www.dailypaul.com/207619/turn-the-tables-on-christian...) should view "The Roots of Christian Zionism: How Scofield Sowed Seeds of Apostasy".

Very informative, provides insight about the issues involved in the on-going middle-east conflict.

This film is correct. and an eye-opener.

The film is slow-moving at points, but very much worth the watch (about an hour). Evangelicals, for the most part today, accept what I, too, believe is an incorrect interpretation of the Bible. I have an M. Div. in New Testament, and have studied this topic a lot over the years. I suggest the website www.americanvision.org for some great prophetical interpretation. You can go to their downloads section and download whole PDF books for free, or very little, giving an excellent Biblical approach to prophecy.

Their news and comments are also right on. And, should I mention, they are very supportive of Ron Paul.

I am saddened at the fact that evangelical Christians are perhaps the main support for our aggressive military interventions because they have been erroneously taught that support for the modern state of Israel, without any regard to the morality of Israel's actions, is what God wants.

I'm very familiar with American Vision and ...

I'm very familiar with American Vision and have posted many of their articles and videos on prophecy here:

http://www.todaysamericandream.com/news_prophecy.html

I too am saddened that many Christians support our interventions around the world with little thought as to how it kills and destroys innocent life.

I am thankful that I was introduced to other schools of interpretation to prophecy about a year after my conversion to Christ approximately 30 years ago. I think most Christians don't know that other schools of interpretation exist and if they do, they are afraid to take an honest look at them.

Daniel's 70th week is probably the key to understanding prophecy. If you believe it has not yet occurred, that the Rapture, the Antichrist, a rebuilt temple in Israel, and the Abomination of Desolation are all still in the future, then you begin to look at current events as the fulfillment of prophecy. I've written articles dealing with those issues here:

Temple of God, Antichrist and Abomination of Desolation
http://www.todaysamericandream.com/tog.html

and here:

A Quiz On The Rapture
http://www.todaysamericandream.com/aqotr.html

On the other hand, if you understand that Daniel's 70th week was a prophecy concerning the timing of Christ's first coming, His confirming of God's Covenant with Abraham, the length of His ministry and the timing of His crucifixion, i.e. in the middle of the week after 3 1/2 years which caused the O.T. sacrifice and oblation to cease, then your entire worldview is changed and it is much easier to agree with Dr. Paul's "Golden Rule" foreign policy.

Ron Paul 2012 - Restoring the Founding Fathers American Dream

wow

it's good to know that there are other people who understand the interpretation of 'end times' prophecy as espoused by americanvision.org :)

Unfortunately, the view is considered heretical by many, or at least the version I used to believe in is considered heresy among Christians.

Now, I just don't make any conclusions other than the glaringly obvious fact that dispensationalists are totally off the mark :)

yep..

they are convinced that the end of the world is 'coming soon' based on their erroneous interpretations of many of Jesus's prophetic statements and the book of revelation.

I know this because I used to be one of them. And the whole premillenial dispensational view of Revelation that I was indoctrinated with took me several months to deprogram. Even after I logically came to the conclusion that it was incorrect, I still had this irrational fear of being 'left behind'.

If it took me months to get over it, I can only wonder how long it would take many evangelicals to accept Ron's freedom message as it flies in the face of being involved in the middle east.

Many evangelicals genuinely believe that by being involved in the middle east, they are hastening Jesus's second coming, just like how Christians have been doing something similar for centuries.

Many Christians have been keeping one eye on the headlines and another on the Bible (especially Matthew ch. 24), to give proof to the idea that the 'end' is coming soon. Even during colonial days, the Stamp Act was believed to be the mark of the beast and that King George was the antichrist.

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/apocalypse/etc...

Interestingly, the early Christians believed Jesus's return would 'come soon', yet 2000+ years later, it's still 'coming soon' which makes you wonder what soon meant to the first readers of the New Testament, if it takes longer than 2000 years! Yet they believe that the end is literally right around the corner as if we are living in the first century.

So, getting the evangelical vote is most certainly an uphill battle. If anything, the best way to get them to accept the freedom message is to stay consistent with biblical principles as he has done and to emphasize Jesus's spiritual teachings like "love your neighbor as yourself".

The Tribulation Network

This is a dispensational website that only challenges 1 of the 3 major tenents of Scofield Bible. It is pre-millenial, dispensational but warns against the concept of a pre-tribulational rapture. It is also anti-war.It wants sound monetary policy. http://www.the-tribulation-network.com/ebooks/recognizing_de...
