One of the things I disliked about John McCain's campaign was his inability to tailor his answers to a better refined argument.
I agree with Dr. Paul's non-interventionist policy, but I would really like to see the message get refined so it gets the right message out.
On war, I think the following fits with Dr. Paul's position, and I would like to get some feedback on this message.
More diplomacy. Better and effective diplomacy whenever possible. More trade with other nations, because you don't war the countries you trade with.
When war is necessary, it is declared by Congress. I am the Champion of the Constitution, so you know that I would hold my Constitutional duty as President in high regard, and fight any war declared by the people as represented in Congress.
You can also trust me to make sure the objectives and victory are clearly defined. I would fight it, and win it.
As a veteran, you can also trust that I would bring our troops home when we have acheived victory, and not needlessly put them in harms way to nation build.
I believe that this is in line with Dr. Paul's position. I wish he would keep the answers to the points, stressing the Constitution and that he would be a Commander in Cheif on the side of the troops.
