Campaign Medicare/Social Security Strategy?

So, this article makes a great point regarding medicare, and what the media and the Republican establishment have done to present Paul as a threat to senior citizens. I think it offers a better way that Dr. Paul could present his case; by arguing that the bailouts, the wars, the money creation are bankrupting our country and will soon cost seniors (and every other generation) - the very programs they have counted on for half their lives.

Because its true. Dr. Paul has been painted as 'crazy' in this regard; when the fact of the matter is, libertarian philosophy aside, the only hope these programs have of even remaining solvent for the current receipiants is Dr. Paul...

Now, the man later unfairly criticizes libertarians...but that doesn't mean that, from a political strategic/campaign standpoint, he's wrong.
