Via Yahoo: Brian Williams a Disgrace for Silencing Paul and Santorum.

Just posted 10 minutes ago. Please feel free to be the first to thank him.

Snip ---> This program was a massive disgrace. Williams should be ashamed of himself for generally excluding Santorum and Paul. If these debates aren't going to strive to give equal time to the participants, why do the organizers even bother to invite those who they are going to disrespect?

According to The Hill, during the first 40 minutes, Paul only got to speak once and Santorum got to talk twice. Watching the first part of the debate made me feel very uncomfortable because I kept thinking about how Paul and Santorum must've been feeling being left out and having to stand and listen to long blocks of dialogue between Romney and Gingrich. They traded barbs over things like the former's charge of the latter being involved in "influence peddling," as reported by ABC News. <--- End snip

Williams, like most talking

Williams, like most talking bubble heads thinks he is smarter then he is.

Ron is far too nice....

when being ignored. He makes jokes about how they (MSM) are blatantly ignoring him, but its really not a funny matter. Rand would chew someone's ass out if they left him out, Ron needs to take some pointers from him on demanding equal time during debates. He is essentially letting NBC and ABC pick who the next President will be when he talks once in 40 minutes.

I think this debate changed things

I believe some people who actually watched the debate really got to see up close and personal how BAD these three stooges are and how good Ron Paul is. I saw comments to that effect in this article and in this one - http://blog.nj.com/njv_paul_mulshine/2012/01/ron_paul_was_ri...

Maybe we don't have to do so much because these clowns are digging their own graves.

All of these debates have been jokes.

The networks should be busted out by real debate fans. I'd suggest any major college debate team could better organize the debates, hell, the League of Women's Voters did a much better job.

The LOWV is no longer non-partisan

They used to be complete unbiased. Now they promote only who and what they want to win.

It stinks, but if the network

It stinks, but if the network pays for the debate, then it's their choice.

Millions saw the debate...thousands see the Williams bash

Do massive damage, then recant mildly

that's how they roll

Whatever happened to the old format....

where say you have six candidates (A,B,C,D,E,F) and you ask "A" a question - allow him so much time, and then ask the same question to "B" through "F" with the same alotment of time.

Then for the SECOND question you ask "B" the question first. And then, in turn, ask "C" through "A", allowing each the same amount of time?

I know that is how they did debates years ago.

These aren't debates - they are selective interviews, where th moderator decides WHO he wants to select to interview while the other candidates see if they will be asked any questions.

All part of the illusion of democracy

After all the biasly designed debates and straw polls, they will claim that they had debates and straw polls.

terrific article

One of the comments says NBC ran polls beforehand asking who people wanted to hear more from and who was most conservative, and that RP won both with 100%. I missed those. Is there any truth to that? Need facts!

What is begun in anger, ends in shame.

Very truthful and accurate article,

apparently by a media contributor with some brains and integrity.
A very refreshing change of pace.

Kudos to the Yahoo contributing author for his fairness and accurate observations on the media bias we face on a daily basis.
