Just heard a couple great calls on Hannity today ...

This lady called in and let Hannity have it on media bias, essentially saying that he had an agenda and he was pushing it, and that it was a disgrace that he treated Ron Paul the way he has. I thought she did a great job.

But then literally the next phone call, was another lady who immediately started in on Hannity for pushing Newt. She was like (Paraphrasing): "I don't like Newt and It's obvious you like Newt and you have an agenda in pushing him"

You couldn't pay for two calls back to back like that ... Priceless :)

It's almost like people saw these posts on DP and acted:

Don't Just Call Hannity! Challenge Him with...

This Question!

http://www.subsidiaritytimes.blogspot.com/2011/12/question-f...

Put him in a corner! Challenge Him!

I'm a Professor, my name is Wall

The main goal

is to have enough calls to make these hosts views come under ridicule.

Then, the herd animals will abandon them. The herd animals only follow because they think that's where the rest of the herd is going.
So, make the direction of the herd appear to be different, and that's the way the herd will go. This first step is to make the herd see that these neocons are being laughed at and ridiculed by others who they perceive as "herdsters".
Remember that herd animals always are suspicious of anyone they perceive as "individual" because it reminds them of the lone wolf predator that they fear. So, act herd-like when you do it.

Yep that's why I keep posting about this ...

You're exactly right!

Great job! So basically

Great job! So basically Hannity had no response at all, except to say that this is a battle between good and evil... In which the USA is good, and the middle east is evil. Uh huh. In other words this is a crusade.

Yeah when we switches to the 'Evil' talk ...

He's essentially conceding that he's lost the argument. I've been listening to Hannity for years and I know that he switches to the 'There's Evil in this world' talk when he's got nothing left as a rebuttal when the Ron Paul callers challenge him.

One thing I will suggest is that if any of you call in to talk foreign policy, the best thing to bring up now is ask him how he can support borrowing more money adding more to the national debt to support all these military adventures around the world that he's calling for. How can he support maintaining 900 bases around the world, borrowing money to pay for the military logistics (Logistics is a key point because I can see him say, 'Oh you want to cut the military'). And don't forget the billion dollar embassy in Baghdad.

If you phrase the question is I note above, he's got nothing .... that, my friend, would really put him in the hot seat. How can he argue against that? Everybody in the audience is against borrowing/adding more to the national debt. So posing the question that way would REALLY expose him ;)

You got it.

I think that's all Hannity ever says.
He has the same answer for everything.

It is so difficult to listen

It is so difficult to listen to Hannity. He loves the sound of his own voice. He thinks his narcissistic opinion should matter more than the callers'. He's not interested in "talking" to callers. He only uses their initial comment as a platform to preach his "doctrine to his callers....YYYYUUUUUCCCCCHHHHH!

Hannity Encounters Blowback From Ron Paul Supporters

Here's a clip of when I and another Ron Paul supporter called into the Hannity show in last September.

I pretended to be a Santorum supporter then I flip-flopped for Ron Paul! :)

Wow, snowball to the kisser!

Great MasterCard commercial material...

Hannity getting owned by two angry women, Shelly and Marcy, back to back on his political hypocrisy: priceless.

Their true agenda will be

Their true agenda will be exposed if Paul gets the nomination and they support Obama. IIRC didn't O'Reilly say he voted for Obama?

can someone start recording

can someone start recording Hannity, Moxy Style?

It's recorded every day

Marcy in Dallas @ 38 minutes

"I just get aggravated at all the media, I think you are a disgrace to the even concept of freedom. You just totally ignore Ron Paul and you push big government candidates. But then you preach constitution and founders, and none of those guys are anywhere near the constitution and founders."

Shelly in Akron, Ohio @ 41:08

"I'm calling about Newt Gingrich, and the way that you push him and support him. And, I just can't understand why you would do that, I really can't."

Whatever

I think if more people felt

I think if more people felt the way you do about the childish attitudes of people like Hannity, Paul would already be president.

Swimming in the mainstream feels

good from time to time. It is entertaining how low the level of communication is on these talk shows. The host crushes the victim caller silencing him/her at will and the listeners are in awe of him imagining him as a powerful messenger, intelligent man as he shapes their reality with the last word. I used to listen to him back in 2004 for a few times and I swear I heard the exact same generous categorization: "Look, I don't think liberals are evil. I think they are misguided".
Their message also never changed. It is that this is a war between Liberals and Conservatives, a war of opinions which is basically reduced to abortion, gay rights and "who has the better plan of managing medicare"
The most important role of any government is spending and distributing the people's resources. It is 37% of all your individual power. All the issues in the public field are irrelevant to the reality of the every-day man. They talk about jobs "creation" but even in a basic conversation it is obvious that they feel this has to do with tickling the tax code and (de)regulation (or more regulation). Even the Bain executive is doesn't view the market in terms of flow of money manufactured goods and service, energy and resources...but rather as rigged poker game where the Chinese are holding an A in their sleeve...
In today's society it's not about what you say, but how you say it. hannity has a powerful voice and people feel good when he speaks. Doesn't matter what he says.

P.S. swimming in the mainstream for more than 30 minutes can have unwanted side effects like head ache and hopelessness. Never do more than one in 3-4 days

Don't waste your time trying to be right, spend it trying to get better

Thankfully, the sun is

Thankfully, the sun is setting on the age of mass media. Hannity is an obsolete relic of the industrial age.

(((((( VU))))) I know you bloody care

I also know what you mean.

I think you missed your mark with your comment, hey Original Poster, I think RedDot is on the wrong post. Keep up the great work!!!!

Ha. I can see how you thought I was commenting on the original post. If you look closer, you'll see that I was actually replying to a comment by someone else. That comment has since been "collapsed" by default due to many negative votes. You need to click on the title "Whatever" to read it.

On the contrary, I love this topic! I have called in to radio stations before and I am ALWAYS inspired when I hear others do the same and stick up for Dr. Paul amidst the smears and lies.

As a matter of fact, I think calling into radio shows is one of the best things we can do! We need to let America know that these radio hosts do not speak for all of us and that they are wrong in so many ways. It is the same for sticking up for RP in the comment sections of smear articles on the web. People do notice when nobody argues back, and they do notice when an army of people shout back against smears and slander.

I was a little antagonistic, but I honestly wanted that person to respond. It's not about trying to convert the host, it is giving voice to Dr. Paul over a national audience. It is not as if we were calling Hannity at home and trying to talk reason into him, it's all about the listeners out there who need a lifeline.

In order to win the presidency and also to save our country, we need to get through to all those people out there that are just ignorant about things. Relentlessly calling in to radio shows of hostile hosts is one of the best ways to plant a seed in the heads of their vast audiences. Each time we do that, a few people will actually snap out of their trance and think for themselves.

We cannot be invisible.

Amen, my friend!

That's precisely the point I'm trying to make with all my posts about calling into these shows (See my other two links in my original post). It's their audiences that we really need to connect with and make inroads with. We need those people to start thinking independently. And if enough of us get through on these shows a represent Ron Paul well (i.e. calmly and logically), then we will get the people listening to start thinking independently. Once they do that, they will naturally gravitate to Ron Paul.

Hannity fans waking up?

Hannity fans waking up?

I'm hoping so ...

I'm starting to hear more and more calls from Ron Paul fans

does he stream his shows

on the www? I would like to hear these.

Hannity's show streamed

You can listen to the show live, syndicated by various stations across the country:

http://www.hannity.com/stations

You will also find that most if not all these stations also stream their programs online, for example in NYC it's WABC:

As you can see these people have access to a very large population of Americans, so it's vital that we get the same amount of exposure to negate their influence.
