Why Doesn't Ron Paul do something about this ?

If that is the example of how he is going to handle corruption while President then why would I continue to support him. He knew that it was possible and probable that the RNC and GOP would be up to no good but did nothing to stop it. It is his (Ron Paul's), job to stop them from stealing the elections not the general public so where is our brave leader now and why is he cowering and pretending it's not going on. I look at Rand Paul and see how angry he is and think why isn't his Dad doing his job. His job as a candidate is more then just giving speeches he needs to stand up to the corruption too.

Great stuff. While listening

Great stuff. While listening it got the filmmaker in me thinking. I really hope they got a couple guys filming behind the scenes. All that's going on there would make one awesome documentary (for after the elections of course).

Great interview Kurt. I

Great interview Kurt. I remember listening to you on Ron Paul Radio back in 07. You are the Charlie Rose of the Liberty movement.

Love this guy, he has such a

Love this guy, he has such a congenial media presence. Hey why not Doug Wead for VP!

Agreed!

Doug Wead is a total voice of integrity, intelligence and class. He really sets the bar high. I completely agree to putting him in the VP spot.

The Doug Wead and the Jack

The Doug Wead and the Jack Hunter interviews have been enlightening and motivating.

Sorry Kurt

But you were sort of dull.
You didn't have any questions ready?
I hope those who listened realize how very difficult it is to do live interviews.

I thought it was really true what Doug said about this being a counter revolution - but it seems difficult to explain to Americans.

Doug is an excellent spokesman for us.

And he represents the intelligent nature of the Ron Paul campaign.

I have never seen a stupid Ron Paul supporter.

It almos seems a prerequisite to have to use your brains in order to be a supporter of Ron Paul.

Other candidates' supporters are either sheeples, stupid or immoral.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

As I said on the Interview Page

Doug is an outstanding spokesman and is unshakable under the most bitter attack pressure. A great voice for Liberty! Thanks Kurt another great interview! Keep that Rolodex humming!

Always enjoy Doug...the Fed this week

Doug is great, I loved the comment how the make up person closed the door and explained the "follow the Money" ownership of the tv station. That is why Paul gets ignored by the media. The owner of the media is the establishment.

Paul prophesies are coming true. those following the market will see two trends this week marks weaker dollar and weaker equities prices, which is not pretty, usually weak dollar - higher equities. Also gold prices jumped quite a bit when the Fed announced they would hold interest rates down until 2014.

"This isn't what the govern meant"

"Win the crowd and you will win your freedom"

I suppose this is Ok,

but why can't Paul's campaign people get any airtime on TV. The radio? Who listens to the radio anymore? Nobody but commuters. Come on Wead, get on Hannity or Morning Joe.

alan laney

Hannity and most on FOX are back stabbers

I don't think it would be a wise idea outside of the very few on Fox Business. People like Stossel, Judge Napolitano. You can probably trust the liberal media more than FOX in case of interviews, debates etc. You saw how FOX stacked the audience in the South Carolina debate.

I wish you would have asked

I wish you would have asked about what so many of us wants to know. How they figured out that newt wont have 500 delegates...

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

From states where the Grinch

From states where the Grinch is not on the ballot + caucuses where the Grinch has no ground game or does not have a slate of delegates or does not have a full slate of delegates. The 500 number is probably just a rough guess. It could be somewhat more or less. Delegate counting is pure guess-work for the next couple months.

How do I view this? my itunes is saying it's not available in the U.S. Store...

There's an audio player on the page...

Directly under the image of the drink, is a little audio player. Just click the play button. Or else under the player are some options to play in a popup or to download as an mp3.

I clicked the link and downloaded the mp3 file with no trouble. And I don't have iTunes.

Very nice and encouraging interview

from Doug. Haven't seen this humbling, introspective/philosophical side.

"If you want something you've never had before, you have to do something you've never done before." Debra Medina

Very cool to hear that he reads the "Ron Paul Forums" ...

... which includes us here at Daily Paul. I've always wondered if they were reading the comments and posts here. It might explain a couple of things.

A few weeks ago I started posting and commenting about the need to debunk the MYTH that the more you spend overseas, the more conservative you are considered to be. I kept saying that the campaign really needed to drive that home to the people, and literally right after my posts, Ron Paul, Doug Wead, etc. started mentioning that very point in interviews and the last debate. I think it started with Ron Paul's interview with Ann Curry on the today show after the Iowa caucus where I noticed him first mentioning it.

So that said, it's awesome that the campaign listens to us ;)

Same here I was on twitter

Same here I was on twitter telling him that he should smile and wave more often to his supporters while walking to and from the podium. Simple things like that he was not doing. Always walking with his head down and seemed a bit scared and clumsy sometimes. The next live speach after my comment and he was trying it out and the supporters were loving it!!! You could tell he seemed nervous at first as I don't think it was his way of doing things but there were so many better pictures taken of him waving and looking happy. The people are just trying to reach out to him sending that energy the wave and smile is one way of doing it!! He is not used to the popularity but he is doing great a 76 year old who has to learn how to be a 26 year old rock star!

Doug Wead

is a brilliant spokesperson. He knows how to connect the grassroots too, by saying he sometimes reads the forums to find good answers.

Ron Paul for President's picture

Doug Wead, Thank you very much!

for your hard work and the way you handle the lame street media interviews.

Nice. Truth & Logic.

Doug gave me an idea.

Ron Paul could mention in the debates that he just wants to "Get back to the basics" seems like a catchy slogan for the American people, esp the elderly.

He could elaborate by mentioning that he is not a polished, professional politician, but it's time someone takes the initiative and gets the country "back to the basics" of our founding fathers. "A simpler life...a simpler government."
A few sound bite suggestions. Just a thought.

Great interview!

Thanks for this great interview!

Edit: Doug Wead is more awesome than we know. He has some good background perspective on the MSM in this interview. All DP readers should listen to this short 13-minute interview. He reads the Ron Paul 'forums' ... I think that includes us.

Thank you, he does read Daily

Thank you, he does read Daily Paul as well.
