Our man did great as usual.

It got pretty weird with how much Mitt and Newt were beaming at Ron Paul. Like they were smiling to earn brownie points.

I agree with comments below about Santorum seeming to have rage issues. Maybe he spends his days with his seven kids, then runs out of patience before the debate.

Glad he's not my dad.

I thought it was his best performance

He was loosened up and relaxed yet aggressive with his answers and with touting his own record and accolades.

"I agree with Ron Paul . . ."

Please tell me that there is a digital genius out there who is culling all the previous debates and putting together a youtube video filled with clips of the GOP candidates in televised debates saying, "I agree with Ron Paul . . . " I think it would be a shocking number of times and useful to share with others.

I say that every time that I

I say that every time that I hear the "I agree" statement. Maybe they are waiting for just the right moment. (Naaah.)

At any rate, that would be a good ad.

LOL!,That would be great!

.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

Romney Attacked Ted Kennedy Over ‘Blind Trust in 1994 debate!

Romney attacked Kennedy’s mention of his own blind trust, calling it, “not so blind.”
What a hypocrite!

My favorite line of the night

My favorite line of the night was when Ron said he'd ask Raul Castro what he's calling about...

I actually laughed out loud when I heard him say it last night.

God Bless You

President Ron Paul!

Santorum

Wants us to join economically with Latin America.

What a globalist windbag.

Humor is a very effective

Humor is a very effective tool to convey a message like this. The others looked phony and ridiculous on most answers. Gingrich's best moments was where he agreed with Ron Paul. I also have to say that Romney looked like a moron more than once in this debate, including the time when he made his not-so-subtle insult to Ron Paul on the first lady question. The way that worked out was perfect I think. When the camera panned to Carol Paul, the vast majority of people in America saw that they have a wonderful, normal marriage that they could relate to. Romney's jab was revolting to most sane people. Maybe Mitt gained some support among haughty cocktail partygoers, but the people will side with Paul. If you didn't watch the debate, see the beginning of part 6 for the exchange.

Yesterday was a big day for the movement. The pre-debate energy was electrifying and Dr. Paul did amazing job on the stage. Couldn't have been better. I think a lot of people crossed over to our side.

Great observations you wrote.

Great observations you wrote. I've only seen the highlights, but I'll take your advice and watch it in its entirety.

In a prior debate Dr. Paul was speaking about the Schiavo case and with his matter-of-fact-authority he calmly and directly counseled Americans about death- it will come, no dispute escalation because it's a family matter, talk with each other, be ready. Next question please. People of all cultures appreciate and connect with straight talk. So I agree, it seems that for many the distance from Candidate Paul to President Paul is actively narrowing.

In the highlights I saw Candidate Paul pause for applause to his common-sense and forthright statements, avail himself of extra time, look directly at the audience and say “ I will cut $1 trillion in the first year”, and smile often.

And then there's was this: “Americans aren't looking for a Muslim under the bed”.

Light it up Congressman.

Ron Paul always makes me

Ron Paul always makes me smile.

Santorum scares me.

He would have us engaged around the world and in involved in every little dispute. I also detect this undercurrent of rage that doesn't sit well with me.

Romney thought that too

("No need to be angry about it")

Absolutely! Santorum wants a

Absolutely! Santorum wants a one world government as long as Washington is in charge of it. He's a thorough and complete authoritarian who hates the idea of people being allowed to exercise freedom over their own lives.

Sad that things have not changed since I was a kid in the 60'S.

This old song brings a tear to my eye!

Tin Pan

At Ron Paul's request,

Aimee Allen sang this song at the Rally for the Republic in 2008.
He said it was one of his favorite songs.

Here you go...along with Dr. Paul's reflections on the song.

Romney advertisement

Why is there a Romney advertisement on top of the front page of the Daily Paul?

no worry

When you sell ad space on a web site, often the header is a prime slot. Romney would pay a premium price for that spot. But not to worry, it's a waste of money on this site in my opinion...

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

Romney's Foot in the mouth?

Did everyone miss Romney foot in the mouth statement while he was debating Newt about being anti-immigration? Romney said, "my father was born in the Mexico." Well according to Article 2 Section 1 - No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States. I.E. Romney should clarify or drop out...

Check it out closely around 30sec...

I thought he said grand

I thought he said grand father.

No, he very clearly said "father"

listen again.

Actually I think Romney

Actually I think Romney should drop out because he is Obama's Siamese Twin and Goldman Sachs is their father. Yuck!

Natural born

Seems the issue is over the definition of "natural born"...
My study has shown that the definition also requires that parents be citizens... (plural)

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

Willard's face

Why does Willard Mitt Romney have that nauseated look when Dr Paul is talking? It seems like he is having a hard time comprehending RP's answers.

Remember the hall of

Remember the hall of presidents at disney world? Thats what these debates bring to mind. Three mechanical robots only able to say what has been pre planned and pre scripted well in advance to target the specific state they happen to be in effort to gather more votes by saying what they think people want to hear. Then theres our guy who only speaks from the heart and answers honestly when the questions come up. The truth doesnt have to be scripted and Paul proves that every time he opens his mouth. Sometimes his answers arent what people want to hear and may seem pessimistic but he knows that in order to fix alot of our problems we are going to have to face facts such as being too broke to continue with empire expansion. It boggles my mind that there are actually people in this country who can hear these other warmongers spew out their fake and shifty responses while someone as genuine and caring as Ron Paul shines like the north star, and actually consider voting for the robot clones that cant go five minutes without mentioning Ronald Reagen in an almost religious way.

I agree with ....

that - Drinkingwithbob - guy . Paul is most likely winning every primary , and the corrupt MSM & DC establishment is showing us the "smoke and mirrors " results (polls) . And we would never know . What a shame . Paul might have to run third party or something . Then again , Paul would win and the traitors would show the masses that he lost .
