Very personable and great

Very personable and great answers. I think the humor made it a lot easier for people to realize how irrational some of their positions are. Great job Ron!!!!

Great Job Ron!

Like many have said, best debate hands down.

Also, thank you to Wolf Blitzer for doing quite a good job as moderator.

Great effort, put some humour in!

Got some great applauses.

awesome, awesome, awesome!

The early comments were correct: Dr. Paul's best debate presentation at least in recent memory. His playful and spontaneous humor was especially helpful and I absolutely LOVED his response about his medical records!! Yeah, I'd like to see those others take him up on that 25 mile bike ride! :->

Bill of Rights /Amendment X: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Do you need a politician or judge to "interpret" those 28

nice debate

Dr.Paul looked relaxed and in control and cracked quite a few good jokes too !!
was he the first to answer many questions ?

Dr.Ron Paul's 2002 Predictions

Yes he was

Yes he was

There goes demagogue Newt again...

...throwing the crowd some red meat about a "war on religion." Of course, Newt himself waged war on Christian principles by twice committing adultery (not mere "mistakes" which he abandoned, since each time he left his wife for the mistress), by his unethical conduct in Congress and as a lobbyist, by his lack of humility and by his repeated and brazen lies during this campaign. Not to mention his championing a foreign policy of unprovoked mass murder.

The enemy is within, Newt.

Right on

When Newt signed the pledge to 'Protect Marriage', do you think he wrote next to his signature, "Even from myself"....?

Someone should tell Newt that too much pride is a deadly sin, however, it isn't the only sin he's committing right now.

The fire rises.

I thought Ron hit a grand

I thought Ron hit a grand slam on the age question. I was thinking he would say, no, I don't have to release my health records to you. But he said, sure, they're only about a page long.

My goal is to look that great at age 76 and still be able to go on a 25-mile bike ride. No doubt he looks vigorous and healthy. Gingrich is the one who looks like he might keel over at any moment clutching his chest.

"I ain't the dying type."

Reader, writer, soldier.

I'll watch it tomorrow.

I couldn't get passed the Newt-Mitt catfight, so just watched the highlights. Wish Ron Paul's answer on immigration was similar to the ones he has given before. Basically, stop subsidizing illegal immigration and make legal immigration easier; also ending the drug war wouldn't hurt. Other than that he was on fire.

It is an enormous simplification to speak of the American mind. Every American has his own mind.

~Ludwig von Mises

That poor Palestinian questioner...

Romney's answer was totally indifferent to the concerns of Palestinians, totally insulting to the questioner, and totally pandering to the Israel lobby. Same for Gingrich's answer. Of course, Blitzer didn't let Ron Paul respond.

What ever happened to the Washingtonian policy of neutrality in foreign affairs?

i REFUSE to call them "debates". they thoroughly disgust me !!

if you ask me, these "debates" are a joke. there MUST be rules that guarantee that all participants are treated fair and equal. all of them MUST be allowed to have equal time to respond to every question. when you have a biased wolfy blitzer type in control, deciding who can talk when, and who gets to answer this or that, the whole thing becomes so manipulated as to make it lose any and all credibility. it make me furious when one candidate always center stage and gets 3 or 4 times the amount of speaking time as another. the whole thing disgusts me.

For me, that was the most

For me, that was the most disturbing part of the whole night.

If I were the guy holding the mic, i would have said.

That's a load of s##t and you know it, I don't think I could have held back.

thats what i was thinking to. these people have no heart whatsoever to understand the hell the palestinians are going through. and then they wonder why the resentment.. it's absolutely appalling.

Ron Paul 2012

My thoughts exactly. I thought this would be a good moment for Dr. Paul to really talk in-depth about, but Blitz moved right on to another question, I thought: "Hmmm, there's no way the Jewish-owned CNN is gonna let RP speak the truth, especially in a debate with a large audience watching"

The fire rises.

In the game

The good doctor hit it out of the park tonight. I know I don't look under my bed for the boogie man, Santorum had to get that sinking feeling in his gut after that one. I thought it was great when he said he didn't care about Romney's tax return. Meaning talk about the issue's facing this country.

dave anderson

It was amazing to see

how all the other candidates have shifted their policy positions so much towards Dr. Paul'positions. Except for Santorum on foreign policy, they were pretty much in line with the postions Dr. Paul has previously articulated on issues.

I just can't tell whether they really mean it or are just paying lip service to appeal to voters.

Please, please, please

If we can't tell that we have no chance. Period.

Since all Ron Paul's positions are now becoming popular the elite have changed their tactic. They now say what Ron Paul says to get the vote. Just like Obama did and just like they hijacked the Tea Party.

Please understand how this works. There is a small elite running everything. They pretend to have elections to keep the people happy. They then lie to the people to get their guy elected (everybody but Ron Paul) and they then use their 100% controlled media to sell their candidates to the people while ignoring and smearing other candidates (only Ron Paul and Gary Johnson this time around).

Please wake up now, if we fall for the same tactics again and again then how are we going to restore America?

Yup so true! People realise

Yup so true! People realise newt and mitt are lieing, they know ron paul is the real deal. And are sick of tired of being forced into war and fear!! Ron paul 2012!! The majority of people were outside the debate chearing on ron paul is my guess.

I can answer that...

They didn't really mean it.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

Well, let's see..

The last two peace candidates (Bush and Obama) made America's current wars bigger and even started new wars.

I would not believe them for a moment. Follow the money - who invests in their campaigns? I am convinced that they are just paying lip service to appeal to voters, big time.

Nonetheless, it is very important and awesome to see them confirming that Doctor Paul is right.

Just finished watching the repeat of the debate

I feel that this was one of Ron Paul's strongest debates. Yes, he was funny, relaxed, and absolutely dominating. Ron Paul was predictable, and that has always been his strength.

About Romney and his new debate coach... obviously Romney was coached to do his absolute best to only appear to respect Doctor Paul.

Come on, suddenly Romney watches Ron Paul in the eyes, nods his head when Ron Paul speaks and appears as if he agrees with Ron Paul on (almost) everything. What an artist!

I am not going to buy into the GOP/Goldman Sachs propaganda.

Truthbearer's picture

They know...

...that Ron Paul is right and right is might!

They all also know that Ron Paul had the largest support in the country from all groups and he is actually the one that can beat omaba...easily! They are vying to kowtow for his second in command after the convention brokers Ron Paul for Pres and maybe, newt for VP. If it had to be done, it could be done that way.

Problem with that is...the nasties know that too.

Back to...IF we have an election...and IF we do not see some sort of 9/11 type false flag event sponsored by the MAD DOG isreal and our own govt(obama) to maintain the police state powers so they can and spin all this election stuff off in to a 'it don't matter at all' file.

His answers seemed much

His answers seemed much clearer and delivered with a more casual bravado in this debate. The others were nodding a lot and all seemed very interested in what he was saying for the most part.

wow he kicked some serious

wow he kicked some serious arse at this debate =D

All paper money eventually returns to its real intrinsic value, zero. - Voltaire

did anyone else catch ron talk about how hispanic people

understand nonintervention. First thing that popped into my head was defense department (Rubio)? SEC-DEF?

Just watched the debate

RP was amazing! He was almost serene in his delivery. Very happy!

Sanitorium nailed Mittens on Romneycare.

He's playing the role Bachmann played against Perry in those earlier debates. Think this is going to hurt Romney?

Standing up for the constitution of Honduras?

The Santorum said something about standing up for the constitution of Honduras? I wish Ron would have pointed out that he's the only one standing up for OUR constitution.
