I agree with Santorum that it sucked that the Obama admin did the wrong thing on this issue, but I don't think that Ron Paul would, and I thought it was lame that he seemed to be inferring that.

Ron has been influencing other candidates on

economic, monetary, fed res issues for some time now, but TODAY did you see Mitt, looking towards Ron each time he mentioned that he wants to influence foreign countries "NOT with force", but with good examples to be emulated?!?

Ron is slowly, but surely, getting them to move towards him on foreign policy as well! (Except for i-see-jihadists-in-all-continents Santorum, that is.)

The response Mitt & Newt gave to the AMERICAN Palestinian gentleman was totally inadequate. They only had AIPAC generated canned answers for any and all middle eastern questions.

They thoroughly failed to see the questioner as an INDIVIDUAL respectable AMERICAN human being.

On the wife question,

Newt had to refer to Callista by name, so the audience would be sure which one he meant. The others had no need and didn't do that.;)

I wasn't sure if he meant his own three wives or not

I laughed when he said what he did about the "three women." I'm sure he was talking about the other candidates' wives, but it was a poor choice of words.

You might enjoy my paraphrased summary of the debate, just posted here:

Dr. Paul really nailed it tonight.

I was a little confused/alarmed briefly, too.

I had a phone call during part of the debate and was enjoying seeing Mrs. Paul as Ron gave his glowing description of her and why she would make a great First Lady.

The next thing I knew I thought I heard Newt saying any of the three wives would make a great First Lady. For a second I thought he was trying to say any of his three wives would make a great First Lady. All of the sudden I thought the debate just took a very awkward turn! LOL :)

I don't normally go negative...but this topic is a sore spot for me. I just don't know how the hell we as a country could ever be taken serious again if our President and First Lady are blatant adulterers. I mean I know it was hinted at with Kennedy, and then the whole Clinton fiasco....but this is smacking you in the face.

The whole title of "First Lady" (emphasis on LADY) just some how will become dirty and laughable. We were talking about IMPEACHING Clinton for what he did WHILE he was in the Presidency, but we didn't know he was an adulterer when we elected him. Now we're actually thinking of ELECTING adulterers? Crazy...crazy...crazy.

Accidentally hit save twice

Yes,good showing for Paul, the others look silly & petty

Contrast the audience with the people outside. Humm. Who gets into these things? Lots of older people, no doubt they're wealthy donors. And those automatic cheering squads for Mitt and Grinch- kind of strange. If the obnoxious media can keep it all about personalities, then they can distract everyone. Small people talk about other people (the media does that - it's all about keeping you small) mediocre people talk about events, great people talk about ideas! The Ron Paul Intellectual RevLoveution is and idea whose time has come!!!!!

"Small people talk about

"Small people talk about other people (the media does that - it's all about keeping you small) mediocre people talk about events, great people talk about ideas!"

I really like the way you put that...never heard it before but I'm going to remember it!

Roger roger to Kingu!

Thanks for your great work Kingu.

Team work!

Now spread them around and call it, Monday Night at the Debates! Get your popcorn and call the neighbors over!!

Whoop whoop whoop!!!!

'The Heat of Texas'

Looks like 'The Heat of Texas' strikes again.

I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: "O Lord make my enemies ridiculous." And God granted it.

I think Ron should try this

When one of the other plastic men are talking, he should roll his eyes and snicker.

"A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself within" W. Durant

Not his style.

Ron Paul is a world class statesman. He can laugh and correct an obvious absurdity, but not with a snicker and not an eye roll. Even when he was correcting Gingrich tonight, Ron made his point forcefully but with a smile and serious kindness in his eyes as he completed laying out the facts about Gingrich taking taking money out of Social Security during the Reagan era and not counting that "taking" as a debt - a double moral wrong.

Oh i know it's not his style :-)

it's called sarcasm

"A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself within" W. Durant

Long time watcher not to

Long time watcher not to often do I post... I must say it was awesome to see how the other candidates looked on Dr. Paul as he was speaking. There was a respect to their faces. They know that he is right. Like a child listening to an elder explain a situation, the cause, effect, and solution.

I want RP to win so bad, but even if he doesn't I know that the message of the people has been heard and nobody can win with out our support.

I wish

I wish they would drop out and back him. Seriously.

How do they sleep at night if

How do they sleep at night if they know he is right?

First of all, post more often!

As for Mitt, he always looks like he has gas when Dr. Paul is speaking.

except Santorum

that guy despises Ron Paul with every ounce of his soul...other than that, I agree!

has a nasty, PETTY habit of CROPPING the Doc OUT of online debate report images. Tonight is no exception. Really annoying.

Brother Winston Smith

The r3VOLution is NOT republiCAN.

they cut him out of the poll too!

and they had trouble finding ron paul-less images so they used some with bachmann and perry in the bg's

what a cowardly website! i'll never go there again

Thank you Joe Plummer

Thank you it was so good to be able to see how well he did. I can't believe he is getting so much time now. That is wonderful. I guess I'll never know if he just getting better at simply revealing his policies or if I am just understanding what he is saying and think he's saying it better. But, I think he won this debate hands down. I think he could win Florida if he would go for it. He was very good.

I didn't see the debate so I can't compare with the other performances tonight. But, the fact that the others are "performing" should be enough to sink them. I would love to see a build up of support from the base. I want Ron Paul to blow the media chosen representatives off the map.

says the same thing every time he is just getting better at telling it and that is why I like him. One of my favorite parts is when he said " I don't think people look under their beds for a jihadist" I fear our own government imploding long before I fear some "terrorist" half way around the world.

The jihadist under the bed line was great. I'm sure it was hard for him not to look at Santorum while he said that!

santa citing europe's economic unit

regarding south America, he really doesn't get it.

One thing I wish he would

One thing I wish he would have mentioned was regarding the question on why he could beat Obama.

His answer should have started off with:"Because the latest CNN poll says that I could". Zing!

Overall GREAT performance.

He was funny and witty. He doesn't always come off this way, so it's good to see. I wish he could be this way more as it helps to connect to voters.

you should have left

the "zing!" in your quotations! That would have been hilarious! Maybe add some pistol shooting hand motions to "Blitz" (in the words of Herman Cain), haha!

Where's the stats??

Someone post em!

I hate the person (blitzer?) who purposely coughed during Ron's intro, when he was saying "as it is under the Constitution." I loved the audience applause! I also like that Mitt intently watches Paul (and learns,) while Santorum, who knows Ron's correct, just watches like an idiot lol. Newt was prasing Ron, and Ron smashed Newt lol. I'm happy. I can't think of any faults during this debate. Awesome! Perhaps Ron, or a person from his campaign, had been reading my earlier comment on the first page "I'll watch the highlights".

Ron Paul will win 2012. Get ready for it. :)

Did Mitt go to School Tonight?

Is it just me or did Mitt Romney look like an eager student trying to soak up knowledge from Dr. Paul?

Best performance yet! Funny, loose, and emphasized a foreign policy of respect for people of all nations. He needs to tighten up the "I lost my healthcare" response because his solutions are spot on, they're just hard to convey in 1 minute.

Well done.
