Great Reverse Blowback story...

Taken from my sister's facebook status:
"So my brother was shoveling our driveway, wearing his converse Ron Paul shoes, a Ron Paul 2012 sweatshirt, and a Ron Paul hat. A guy in a plow drives by our house, stops abruptly in the middle of the road, puts his truck in reverse and turns in to plow our driveway. On his way out he rolls down his window and says to my brother "I like your sweatshirt."

The numbers are climbing. The R3VOLUTION is on."

For the record I bought everyone in my family a sweatshirt and hat; so I called my parents and said "you're welcome" for the free driveway cleaning. My younger brother was happy for the reprieve as well!

I'll get a picture up of them soon though. idk maybe we can restart the flow of production.

Yeahhhh brotha!

Haha! I'll be expecting a UPS package with some Ron Paul gear to come in, then. Thanks! Haaha

I hear that all the time at

I hear that all the time at truckstops when other drivers comment on how much they like my bloodstained Ron Paul t-shirts.

Fantastic!

That's great! Last summer my family was in Yosemite National Park on vacation. We had our Ron Paul '08 sticker on the bumper of the car. It was a crowded day and we had to settle for a parallel spot on the side of the road. As we started parking, a man from the car behind us got out and directed us to make sure we didn't bump another car or anything. When we got out of our car and thanked him, he said "I'll do anything for a Ron Paul supporter." It made my day.

I love these stories

I love these stories ....after a long hard day at work...it's great to read about how people are uniting because of rp. That's what this country has been missing for a long time...a sense of unity.

The best thing about this story is...

I was the one shoveling the driveway... I only wish that i could have shown him my awesome Ron Paul pro KEDs! then maybe he would've salted it too! haha
good times

also saw his son in the truck, so this type of generosity is going to be passed right along down the line!

Funny Encounter

Went into a Wells Fargo branch bank - the teller, knowing my position on Dr Paul, loudly whispered, "Ron Paul Revolution - Give us back our Constitution!" whereupon a dozen or so Wake Forest University students picked up the chant. The branch manager ran out into the lobby - eyes wide open...

He later said he thought Ron Paul was in the bank or the place was being robbed.

You were counter-Ron-Pauled! Nice!

My friends and I call this sort of thing being "Counter-Ron-Pauled" because we also refer to telling people of Ron Paul as "Ron-Pauling."

It first happened to us when we were driving to Plymouth, New Hampshire to visit another friend, while sporting a Ron Paul car magnet on each door of my Corolla, as well as 2 Ron Paul yard signs in the back windshield and a third Ron Paul yard sign in the drivers-side backseat window. We pulled up to the $1 toll on I-93 in Concord and as I was getting ready to tell the toll attendant to "Consider Ron Paul," he said to me, "Ron Paul, eh? We need more guys like him in Washington!" It was the greatest moment of my life. (That is not an exaggeration either).

The second time I was counter-Ron-Pauled, I was at an Italian restaurant in southern Connecticut with friends, sporting the same car. My friends and I went outside for a cigarette and a minute later another man came out of the restaurant, acting sort-of hostile, asking us questions like why we support Ron Paul. After about 15 minutes of us all trying to convert this man by explaining how awesome Ron Paul is, he stated "I'm a local politician here, I've been a Ron Paul supporter since the 80s." Second greatest moment of my life.

lol...

My "Andy Warhol" Ron Paul button has been getting noticed lately. People either say "Who is Ron Paul?" or "I like your button" and then I say "Would you like a brochure?" as in Super Brochure...and of course they say "yes!"

In the future people won't

In the future people won't unite over where they were born, or what football team they like, they will unite over common ideology.

I can't wear RP gear at work..

..my boss accused me of being a Newt Gangrene supporter...I wanted to stab him in the eye with a pencil.

Blow-Forward?

Blow-Forward?

Reminder To Us

How much people appreciate good deeds.

We should be doing them, not only for RP supporters, but in our RP gear for others.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Great story.

I've started wearing my Ron Paul T-shirt more often and love the comments.

Ditto

When I flew from Orlando to Iowa for the Caucus, I was decked out in my chocolate Ron Paul hoodie (get yours before it's too late at www.ronpaul2012.com, these will be classics), and my r3VOLution beanie. The 30ish guy at the Frontier Air counter said he was a Ron Paul guy too and put me in an exit row window seat. I invited him to join our local group but he said he was only their during work so he told me about his Ron Paul group in Ohio which sounded like a great group too. :)

Wearing Ron Paul attire at the store

Some of the people don't notice it.

Some of the people read Ron Paul on my sweatshirt, look at me and smile. I love that.

Some of the people read Ron Paul and get this sour look on their face. I give them a wink and a smile, and move on.

What's up with RonPaulSchwag.com?

I have lots and lots of different RP shirts, and I get positive comments nearly EVERY TIME I wear them.

Your post made me want to get a hoodie, but I don't see the RonPaulSchwag.com link here anymore, and I'd like to use the DP link to get to their site, which I'm assuming will help Michael a bit. Also, I bought from them once before and it took 4-5 weeks for my order to arrive. I saw other similar stories posted here, which makes me leery.

Where'd you get your sweatshirt?

Great post btw, voted up!

I was just there

Bought a bunch of other stuff, but I like the RPS hoodies better.

same thing happened to me

at home depot the other day.

the lady that is always at the contractor check out register is NEVER polite to me......well.....i should say that she is just distant - like she's got things on her mind.

well....about three weeks ago i received the ron paul hat (beanie) and was wearing it.

she stopped checking things out and looked up at my head and said, "like you hat" and then smiled!

OMG! a smile from this lady!
gave her meetup info, dp info, and my number to boot.

get it y'all.

Love this story.

Made my morning. Thank you for posting.

Awesome!

Sweet! I've had alot of

Sweet!

I've had alot of positive comments and hand signals with Ron Paul gear.

I only had one negative thing happen last election. Someone took a yard sign and crushed it down small enough to stuff in my mail box.

The next morning I put three out to replace it.

I had a truckload of every size from yard signs to the big 4'X8' size in the garage so it didn't matter.

4' x 8' RonPaul signs!!! They are ideal for highway viewing.

RP 2012 decided not to make those for 2012 campaign, because of high cost for shipping.

If you have those from 2008, by all means, slap -12 on -08 and plant them along highways, Barracuda!!!

Clever Title

we could use a little reverse blowback in WI.
