I'll gag my way through the entire thing and will provide a list of everyone who advertised on the debate tomorrow, best I can. If tonight's debate does not give Ron Paul fair time and treat him with due respect, we will boycott every advertiser.

Can we pin this up top for a few hours?

IMO, this is pretty important... it is a method to make our voice heard.

147, closely interconnected, corporations directly influence

60% of the world's economy. 75% of those are financial institutions. The top 20 are the FED bank members.

These 147 companies run 1318 of the worlds top income producing companies. That would include the MSM and their top advertisers.

Summation: The FED owns 1318 of the world's top corporations, who produce 80% of the world's wealth, including the MSM, etc. Ron Paul wants to End the FED. David vs. Goliath

Now, do you think boycotting will work? By all means, do it if you want to. Just keep your expectations in check.

It's all that....

..."concentrated wealth in a hands of a few" stuff we always hear was predicted by our fore-fathers...problem is, although the over-arching concept/proverbs are TRUE about greed, bribery, envy, jealousy, idol worship, foolishness, addiction to vices etc. - nobody believes it is REALLY happening and taking down our nation within industry, corporations, our educational institutions, or halls of government because people attribute these quotes to the wrong statesman which turns them into Urban Myths - or - any personal challenge to change one's character for the benefit of our neighbor or posterity(like a good biblical sermon) makes people uncomfortable, and makes their brain hurt with swelling words and adjectives that we used to use routinely one or two generations ago to emphasize our wisdom and commitment to maintaining our integrity as a trustworthy Christian nation with a profoundly unique and sound moral foundation!

Dammit this is frustrating!; accepting what we are up against!

And yes, it is frustrating. However, Ron Paul, and by extension 'us', are opening the minds of thousands everyday. This is a long battle for the 'hundredth monkey' to finally wake up. But I believe, in my heart, it will happen in my life-time. At least I hope so, for my son's sake.

Let other networks know we are doing this

they might report it! Let your local stations know

If you are serious

About a boycott, you will cancel cable. If we encourage others to do the same, it will be devastating to the media, because advertising will have less impact with less viewers. That means less money from advertising and less impact in propaganda.

It would be nice to cancel cable

But I was stupid and signed a 2 or 3 year contract. My cable company here just started the contract thing. I can't stand it.

Cable, schmayble.... more people using satellite these days

.... I like to keep an eye on the "enemy", and not being one of the chorus here begging for You-Tubes. Specific boycotting will work much better.

Cable, satellite, the whole TV got evicted years ago

I'm going to have to hit a local bar to watch. Perhaps it is Providence - it is where the Founders gathered, and I might be glad for a beer or 2...

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Better yet...

... Give up television entirely. I did in 1998. Never been happier. Now, when I occasionally see TV at a friends house, I get headaches and become nauseous. Just like I used to be a heavy smoker. Today, I cannot even bear passing by someone smoking (even if outside.)

Don't get me wrong. I still have a television. But it is only used to watch what choose to see and hear (rented videos, internet streaming, alternate media, etc.)

Try it. I promise that you will not miss a thing and you will never go back.

“Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.”― Henry David Thoreau

I don't drink any more

..and I don't drink any less...
..Still enjoy a good scotch AND a smoke!

I've been told that the"only thing worse than a reformed drinker..is a reformed smoker"...but not to worry.

...I won't hold it against you if you :
"cannot even bear passing by someone smoking (even if outside)"....your words.....intolerance?....think about it.
..And consider this;

Hillary and Bill pushed all this no-smoking propaganda upon the populace...as a "test"....the first of many of the intolerant views insidiously perpetrated into mainstream thought....hmmm...guess it worked.
Another assault on my freedom, enacted by your consent.

"By My Silence,I gave My Consent"..great poem, great song:

Think about it next time you pass a (Heavens!) "Smoker".
Have a Nice Day

"Beyond the blackened skyline, beyond the smoky rain, dreams never turned to ashes up until.........
...Everything CHANGED !!

bump, bump

I believe this is worth a shot. They may have orders to avoid Ron at all costs though.

my approach

I wanted to let you know that I am very concerned the media is playing too strong a role in deciding who voters select in the 2012 presidential campaign. I am not interested in what you think of any particular candidates, and whether you think Romney has a better chance of winning than Santorum, it is not your role to make those decisions.

At this point in the process, it is your responsibility to give each candidate still standing equal time. It is your responsibility to ask questions that allow candidates to discuss issues that are actually important, like fixing our monetary policy or addressing the fiasco of the drug war, having watched nearly every debate I have only heard these issues brought up as an attempt at "Gotcha" questions. The narrative so often states "We're adults", but this type of petty mockery is anything but.

I encourage you to take my note, and the others like it to heart. You have a strong role to play in our democratic process, but you risk that responsibility when you try to make our decisions for us.

We'll be watching.

My CNN comment:

I'll be joining the ranks of consumers taking note of your advertisers tonite...and intend on joining the boycott if Ron Paul continues to be ignored by your network @ tonite's debate. Google: Kelly Clarkson....find out what happened to her sales upon saying something about Ron Paul. Thank you!

Get on the ball, folks.

FORCE them to respect the Doctor.

my message to CNN

The American people deserve honest reporting. The American people deserve for an election process that is free from bias.
If CNN can not hold a debate tonight that is free from bias, your corporate sponsors will be boycotted.
We, the American People, demand that ALL the candidates receive fair treatment. That includes allowing them ALL to speak about the issues that are important to our Republic.

If ANY candidate receives a significantly less amount of time to make his case tonight, you will lose advertisement dollars.
If ANY candidate is passed over for questions on policy, you will lose standing.

Take note of CNN's ratings tonight. A large portion of the increase you will see from the GOP debate tonight will be taking note of your treatment of these candidates.

Consider this Fair Warning.

Please take the idea to your meetup, too! Post it on any forums or blogs you use. We got our local Fox station to back down last time doing this. Threaten them where there heart is - in their wallet.
