Please look at the Ron Paul Boat concept again because ...
I believe in it and started it up with $500 to get the website created and I believe it is exactly the message (the passion as depicted by the extravagance) of Ron Paul supporters because what do they know -- people will think, be curious and look for answers beyond the media by seeking Ron Paul supporters to ask. That IS what we need! I've done many extravagant projects of individual initiative promoting Ron Paul in Utah. But, in 2007, I contributed $2300 and that did good because it wasn't spent in Utah and went where it was most needed instead. Similarity, the RonPaulBoat will go where it is most needed. But, it is beyond my means, so please spread this message in all Ron Paul groups you know.

Progress Report
I expected this to take off like the Ron Paul Blimp did four years ago, but I suppose it takes a certain critical mass of us posting to Ron Paul groups for it to go viral. It will happen. Be a part of it. I started a second Chipin to give us time to promote it. What happens next is up to you. Other campaigns get special interest and media support to take us to global governance. In sharp contrast, our work to get Ron Paul elected is supporter driven or gets it's life from supporters. Imagine a floating billboard seen by the Republican national delegates at the nominating convention where no billboards are allowed. With media stranglehold on public attention, Ron Paul supporters need to be creative. This will get publicity and YouTube videos to be seen by millions to show people how motivated and passionate we are as Ron Paul supporters and get them curious to seek the reasons why. Again, what happens next is up to you. If five dollars is too much for your budget, then help by posting about this everywhere among Ron Paul supporters.

That pie chart of military donations, with Ron's old AF photo as the background of the "pie", might work well. Then you'd have both info and photo on there.

The Photosails are opaque and the image on the opposite side can be different. We can do that. Please join our strategy team. Design input needs to be fast to have the sails made in time to be seen for many early primaries and caucuses.
Military contributions counter false and shallow claims on foreign policy. Perhaps it takes a picture to inspire further questions and thinking for those steered away by weak arguments on foreign policy. Ron Paul says national defense is one of the few things authorized by the Constitution. It is the proper role of government. This is a quick reply from memory, but for the sails, we should, of course, search for exact quotes to use.
