Don't "take all" states only

Don't "take all" states only award all of their delegates to the winner if the winner of the state is at or above 50%?

This doesn't take into account

The the Republicans can change the rules at any time. They can reinstate delegates any time. The can change the number required. They will do anything to hand the nomination to Romney. All Romney s people are in control (bought and paid for)of the Republican Party. The party is still controlled by the country club set. It will take a while to change the party into a peoples party.

This is why I love Math!

I wish this could be front-paged and left there for months!

excellent work!

This is the most important post of the day - IMO

It displays the effectiveness of true grassroots organization, at the same time revealing the utter sham that is the corporate-run media.

Key quote - "No state is important, they are ALL important."

Thank you Mr. Miller!

Missouri listed with 0 delegates?

I believe that Missouri has 52 delagates sent to the convention but the spreadsheet lists it as 0. I hope that is just a visual error and doesn't affect the math, but it probably does.

Outstanding analysis!

That Tide is on a roll. This guy has done his homework. But, the bottom line is that Paul has got to grab his share of delegates along the way. With all the Super Pac money available to Newt, he'll surely slug along, and Santorum? As long as he get his mug in front of free microphone, don't look for him to go away. He's got nowhere to go.

Let's do this.

Let's do this.

Reality Check

I liked this video and the message behind it but this video isn't even accurate.

Here is the current breakdown delegates by state.

Iowa's vote didn't determine delegates at all. Not even soft-pledges. Different people break up the soft unpledged, but nobody really knows. Ben Swann reported that he talked to 7 soft unpledged that said they were for Ron Paul. The actual delegates for the national convention won't be solidified until June 16th.

New Hampshire

Hard Pledge Totals
Romney - 7
Paul - 3
Huntsman - 2(they are now free and unpledged)

South Carolina

South Carolina was not really a winner take all. 7 delegates were broken into districts and 3 delegates were party based.

Hard Pledge Totals
Gingrich 23
Romney 2

So after the first three states the only countable tally is:

Gingrich - 23
Romney - 9
Paul - 3
Santorum - 0

Great video! Even I can understand this! Front page for sure!

Here is my spreadsheet. Its similar.

I made it on google docs.

I really like this Dan.

I printed it off so I can keep score.

I'll update it as I find more information. Most states have not published who is on their ballots yet.

Thank you so much

What a dedicated supporter and a brilliant presentation.
Everyone on this site needs to pull up this man's spreadsheet. It will put things in true perspective.

We've got a long way to go guys, and the message is spreading exponentially day by day!

Bumping this for us Alabama

Bumping this for us Alabama Ron Paul supporters!! :)

that clears it up pretty good.

I will have to admit that I fell into the trap of listening to the MSM. I am in a late primary state.
thanks for posting!

I agree, front page.

Vote this up please.

Michael, could you please put this on the front page for awhile.

This is very important information and I would imagine it might ease the mind of some.

I agree this is important

I have heard some people say they didn't like Ron talking about the delegate strategy but they don't understand that it's all about perception our people are more likely to show up if they realize we have a good chance, we need to keep up morale going forward into the later states in order to maintain participation, fundraising, etc.

I think this is harmless against his plan.

If anything this particular bit of info will help him I think. It'll hopefully sooth nerves and bring logic back to the thought process. He's in this for the long haul and we should be too.

If you don't have time to view

Shorter message: need 1140 delegates to win and leader (Gingrich) currenty has only 26. If one candidate were to win 65% of all delegates they wouldn't be able to lock up the nomination until May after 3/4 of the states have voted. So the real race has a long way to go.

This is the delegate spreadsheet they reference:

bottom line

keep working guys and RONPAULGIRLS!
