I...

hate when these pundits say that we are in it to peddle influence? who are we gonna influence? We are in it to win it and we're not going anywhere. Yeah Ron's looking for a higher position in the Romney or Grichy administration. What an idiot. RP2012 Tough As Nails And Ain't Goin' Nowhere

The People of Maine are absolutely wonderful

When times are dark, and things weren't looking well... I'm sure there was sadness in the Paul Campaign group, but the unbeleivable show of Love and Support from the people of Maine has washed that all away.

I've been listening to Dr. Paul speak for nearly a decade and i can never remember this much nationwide enthusiasm for him.

Jesse Benton keeps making reference to a 50 state primary campaign, and i think there can't be anything better. When have ever seen a liberty tour go through the entire country and cause people to rise up everywhere. The opening speaker at the Bangor, Maine stop was correct... this is not about an election, this is about a complete change in history.

Awesome day

I got to hear Ron speak twice today. I talked to him, Carol, and Jesse Benton.

I also met some great supporters!

Thanks for coming to Maine, Ron!

I filmed a little of the events today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAzNIwRqLnk

It really is a no brainer!!

‎"I truly wish Americans would really sit back and weigh the real opportunity costs in regards to how this presidential cycle will effect our country's future, when in every presidential election cycle we can easily elect and have sadly elected career politician after career politician for decades in our two party dictatorship the likes of Romney, Obama, Bush, Dubya, Clinton, Gingrich, Bachmann, Perry, Gore, Santorum,.....ect. ect. ect., and almost never are we ever given a chance to really elect a true statesman like Ron Paul who obviously represents the people's interests, takes his oath of office seriously, believes in the US constitution, and who has uncompromising integrity." JCM

Totally agreed but

what can anyone say in a few seconds as a reply to someone casting a vote for Obama? I was thinking...If you vote for anyone but Dr. Paul, then you will have to live with the fact that you are supporting wars, economic collapse and government controlled internet.
Something short and sweet and LIKE A WORD DAGGER!
Here in Wisconsin, one of the sports announcers says after a score, "AND THERE IS YOUR DAGGER!"
I am rehearsing so I can pounce on all the liberals at college that support Obama.
All suggestions greatly welcomed!

anybody hearing

anything on how florida is shaping up

Awesome!

I live in Maine and will be most definitely going to the caucus to support Dr. Paul. I've been in contact with the local Ron Paul organizers, and we have plans of getting AT LEAST 100 Paul supporters to the caucus-and that is a huge amount of people considering how rural the area is that I live in.

Thank you for your activism

for Ron Paul.

Kimmie

On your way to your caucus site that day...

...stop into as many bars and stores as you can, and grab as many folks as possible to join you. :)

Fantastic

That's the spirit. Keep on adding and securing caucus-goers till the final day.

Paul is in it to win it!!!!

Glad that I had to sit through the entirety of this video only to find out in the end it is the same old slanted agenda piece planting seeds of subversion about Ron Paul's chances and or intentions!!!! WICKED LAME

you can pawk the caahh over they-ah

seriously

nobody gets me

Bangor is where Charlotte.

Bangor is where Charlotte. Iserbyt lives. Bet she's working. Hard for ron

Dr. Paul seeks,"...a place in the administration"?

uh, I don't think so!

someone tell that "pundit" that Dr. Paul is NOT looking for a place in the administration!

Dr. Paul announced MONTHS ago that he would NOT seek reelection in his Congressional seat and he doesn't want some "place" in a neocon administration!

these intellectual midgets are misleading the electorate

9/11 Truth.

yes exactly right!

They start out with a general piece, and then slip in their message from "an expert"

and that message is: Paul is not running to win, cannot win, he just wants influence

Boy thats a big step up from
"he doesn't exist"
"he exists but he's a kook"
"he exists but can't win"
"he exists, cant't win, but will get influence"
"he exists, cant win, but will get influence, and a place in the administration"

hmmm....

Shelley

“An old, mad, blind, despised, and dying king,
Princes, the dregs of their dull race, who flow
Through public scorn, mud from a muddy spring,
Rulers who neither see, nor feel, nor know,
But leech-like to their fainting country cling,
Till they drop, blind in blood, without a blow,
A people starved and stabbed in the untilled field,
An army, which liberticide and prey
Makes as a two-edged sword to all who wield
Golden and sanguine laws which tempt and slay;
Religion Christless, Godless a book sealed;
A Senate, Time's worst statute unrepealed,
Are graves, from which a glorious Phantom may
Burst, to illumine our tempestuous day.

- Percy Bysshe Shelley, Sonnet: England in 1819"

Wow. I think the word

Wow. I think the word 'liberticide' got me the most. He coined it, so never heard it before...but wow. That is what we do..terrific.

very appropriate and timely!

bump for poetry!

Thanks for posting and God bless Dr. Paul for doing this for our country!

All the Way to the Convention

...I want to see Rand Paul as the VP no matter who the Presidential Nominee is. I'd vote for whatever the ticket is if Rand Paul is on it.

I respectfully disagree

1) No way would Rand take a VP position for a crazy ass neocon.

2) NO WAY IN HELL am I voting for any of the same old crooks again, from either side of the aisle. I made that mistake for the last time in 2008 when I voted McCain. I feel terrible about that (that bastard co-sponsored the NDAA!) ... and I'm NEVER doing it again. Never again.

Agreed!

Where do some people get these insane ideas from?
I don't know...BUT, I do know this:
RON PAUL 2012..oR ELSE!

"Beyond the blackened skyline, beyond the smoky rain, dreams never turned to ashes up until.........
...Everything CHANGED !!

Rand?

I thought his name was Ron?

Ron Paul is the KICK ASS Congressman from Texas

Who is currently running for president. One of his sons, Rand Paul, is a Senator from Kentucky. Rand Paul (also a doctor) was in the news recently because he was hassled by the TSA. There is talk of him being selected as VP to run on a ticket w/ one of the neocons (Romney or Gingrich) so they could try to get all of us Ron Paul supporters on board.

My point is: there's no way that's going to happen. Rand would never take it, and we'd never go for the bait.

To see Rand in action, enjoy this clip of the Daily Show where Jon Stewart breaks the news of indefinite detention in the NDAA and uses Rand's speech in the Senate: http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-december-7-2011/arrest...

Don't forget to watch Part 2 as well! :)

Being veep would destroy Rand

IMO. The only way it would promote him is if Mittens ends up being a 'great' president loved by the masses for two terms and Rand emerges as the 'legacy.' First, Mittens being a great president is highly unlikely. Second, Rand would not want to be associated with Mitt's legacy. And if Mitt tanks, Rand will too. VPs typically have very little power (Cheney was an exception). If they offer Rand the VP position it is probably because they want to stifle him and coopt Paul supporters. He would have very little chance to enact any policy changes.
