"What's wrong with y'all? We got to get behind whoever the winner is!"

I was reading a post tonight about a girl who was sitting next to a man who saw she was a Ron Paul supporter and this man sitting next to her said this: "Whether it is Newt or Romney, we got to get behind whoever the winner is."

I thought about that for a moment and I tried to ponder what you could say to someone who would tell you something like this. It is then that I came up with a question that I would ask anyone who would suggest that to me.

If you were standing in a line for bread with your child, and all the other children and their parents were in front of you and they were being felt up in order to get some bread, would you continue to stand in that line and allow your child to be felt up for the bread that you and he could eat or would you get out of line and get in line with a group of people who would not allow that to happen to their child.

So many times we are lulled into believing that we have no choice but to conform and get in line so we can eat. Thank God for the few men and women throughout history who refused to be another slave in a crowd and chose to fight rather than submit to tyranny. We are at a crossroads in our history and if we don't stand for liberty, our children and their children will curse us for our lack of courage.

This is not the time to give quarter to those who mean to destroy our way of life and even our Country itself, but instead we must stand like men of old who realized there are far worse things than hunger. We are free men and women and by God we will not except anything less than freedom.

It is Dr. Paul or none. We will continue to grow and our voices will get louder and louder over time, but if we give in, we will be no better off than the animals in a Zoo. We will be fed, but at what cost to our children?

I'm not falling for 2 sided

I'm not falling for 2 sided politics. I'm not voting for Newt or Romney. Not even close.

I'll write in Ron Paul again if need be, but they can't count on me to vote for their wars, debt expenditures, and just failed policy, and more of the same.

F em

Be Your Own Media!!!

When someone says this

My response to them is this: we don't need to "get behind whoever the winner is"; WE PICK THE WINNER! Unless you believe that the 'winner' has already been chosen and we're just waiting for the puppet masters to reveal him to us. In that case, if you're getting behind the 'winner', you might as well say 'seig heil' to him on your way to the camp.

I'd get my bread.

Honestly, if you're standing in that line because if you don't get that bread your child is going to starve to death then you're not going to get out because of a pat down.

If you'd rather have your child die from starvation than go through an invasive pat down then you shouldn't have children.

They usually follow with,

" if Obama wins it's your fault !" . This is a form of emotional blackmail, and is indicative of a person who has serious control issues. That they have control issues, while voting for a NeoCon ( RickNewtMitt) is mind numingly insipid, only Ron Paul will work towards giving us back the control we are supposed to have upon our own lives, liberty and pursuit of happiness. But they are IMHO, a very tepid lot, running from one thing to another with the singular intent to dethrone Obama. I used to post at both Huffington and The Blaze, but withdrew both accounts, as I've reached a conclusion upon most who post there, they have eyes but can't see.
To point out the hypocritical nature of most sheep neocons I show forth, the Obama isn't a "natural born citizen" people. Since neither Romney nor Santorum are either, one would expect a similar hew and cry from these "staunch supporters of the constitution", but as you know there is no such outcry. That can only lead to a lone conclusion, these "constitutionalist" are NOT so much concerned with the "issue of birth" as they are the "color if birth". They are "False" constitutionalists, using our founding document to pervert a cause based upon a sign of the fallen nature of man and not upon the Rule of Law. Personally, I'd rather the racists vote for someone besides Ron Paul.
"Voting principaled conviction us not a sin, voting willfully the lesser of two know evils is". and that is my response to the emotional blackmail attempts by the establishment NeoCons.
I won't be the cause, nor will anyone who votes for Ron Paul and only for Ron.

No, if Obama wins it's your fault for not voting for Liberty

and Freedom. What do you expect when you vote for the lessor of two evils, You still get evil (whether you guy wins or not), because you sold yourself out in an unhonorable way.

"A vote for the lesser of two evils is a vote to keep things the same", Buckminster Fuller..
A choice for liberty is always a choice for liberty.

If I lived in the 30's and

If I lived in the 30's and somehow had to choose between Hitler's Germany and Stalin's Russia, being non-Jewish, I'd probably choose Hitler's Germany. The thing is, that would be a horrible choice to have to make. But considering the direction I see our country going in the next 20 or 30 years, this WILL be the choice Americans have to make.

The further this trend goes, the more difficult it's going to be to get a true liberty candidate into office. Not only that, to find one credentialed like Ron Paul will be practically impossible.

Let them reap what they sow.

Let them reap what they sow. I will not vote for the lesser of the two evils as a matter of fact I'll vote for the most evil if I vote. My reasoning is this country is going to be destroyed sooner or later by voting in the corrupt corporate cronies so We might as well speed up the process. I'm done dealing with these idiots and if they can't see the light then screw them. The way I see it a good bout of hyper inflation and WW3 will wake them up to the truth. I would rather live in a trash scowl and be free then live in a middle class house as a slave...

To chose the lesser of two

To chose the lesser of two evils is still to chose evil.

I vote for principle not popularity

um..that word you are looking

um..that word you are looking for is 'choose'--'chose' is past tense.
I tell them. NO WAY! If Ron does not get the nomination I choose a KNOWN enemy, instead of an unknown one, that could get 8 more years. Obama will be my choice, but I will just vote Libertarian for the first time ever.

Thanks for pointing that out,

Thanks for pointing that out, although i am now curious why you would vote Obama? The point I was trying to make with my original comment was to choose the lesser of two evils is still to choose evil. And considering the wars Obama has condoned I wouldn’t call that statement far fetched. I do not doubt your integrity, I myself may of voted for him but I fear the good Obama speeks is just talk like last time.

Would you tell your children to befriend mean and corrupts kid

lying kids in school because they were popular? Or would you tell them to to stand up for what is right and true?

When did we as nation loose our principles of honor? Even little kids know right from wrong.

A choice for liberty is always a choice for liberty.

You know there is no bread in the other line. It is Propaganda!

You know there is no bread in the other line. It is Propaganda!

Tell them to tell their king

that free men (and women) walk here!

If they cast a shadow of tyranny, then we will fight in the shade!

::::ensue hearty laughter of liberty:::::

"Hello, my name is Andrew Ryan and I'm here to ask you a question: is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?

sic semper tyrannus!

As we say in Alabama , "We DARE defend our rights!"

I don't get behind people,

I don't get behind people, period. I get behind ideas.
I don't get behind "whoever wins".. You know what statement is saying? "Our group must win over the other.. even if we're wrong and they are right."

I thought that was precisely the kind of group-mentality of us-versus-the rest Ron Paul tries so hard to break.

They really don't want to vote for principles

They merely want to be members of the biggest herd.

Freedom is my Worship Word!

hehe funny you'd say that..

hehe funny you'd say that.. in my country we have a saying: 'if one sheep crosses the dam, the rest is sure to follow'

just one may be a bit optimistic. But it's more about if there's one, who convinces another one, who each convince another one. Paul said someting similar with, now that you know you're obliged to do something about it.

This gets my blood pressure up

Whenever I hear someone say "we gotta get behind the leader" like this, it really gets my blood pressure up. I hope they have children with them, that gives me an opportunity to show how flawed this kind of thinking is...I usually tell them something like "that's why America is 15+ Trillion Dollar in Debt" and the "Economy is in the situation it's in today"...That's why your children will not inherit the kind of America you grew up in...all because of this kind of mentality at the polls. Also, I likely will add something along the lines..."No, you're not suppose to follow the leader, it's your responsibility to get informed about the issues and use your brain, that's why GOD gave you a brain, so you can decide for yourself".
That gets them to thinking a little, some you will never change, it's too ingrained in them. Others might go away thinking about what you've just said. I just can't accept that "sheepish" mentality and It's my opportunity to do whatever I can to wake them from their slumber. So, next time you hear something like this..."give 'em hell"..."fire when ready Ridley"...know what I mean?

I'm offended by your termology

To apply the crime of child molestation as simply, "felt up", I find very offensive. The term "felt up" is something applied to consenting sexual partners.

The term "felt up", when talking about an adult sexually abusing children is a gross offense/CRIME, I don't take lightly.

Then you further the insult to say "Ron Paul is in it for the message", as if this is just some game we're playing here, YOU'RE NOT GETTING THE MESSAGE!

The message it to OCCUPY THE GOP AND PUT RON PAUL IN OFFICE and take an office for yourself or help the Ron Paul REPUBLICANS take offices.

If I was standing in line and someone touched my children without my permission, I'd get allot of people's attention, "I'd scream "RAPE!" You would have to hold me back from putting that person in the hospital, but you wouldn't hold me back from putting that sick person in jail.

The only thing this post does besides upset me, is show that those who have not joined the GOP and are not highly offended by your comparison, are not getting Ron Paul's message AT ALL.

That would be my response.

I'll be happy to get behind whoever the winner is...

as long as it is Ron Paul. Otherwise, I'll be carrying a pitchfork.

You folks are too kind.

I'd say "Yep. Folks like you are the ones that made this mess. Thank God for folks like me willing to stand firm and clean it up. Grow a spine, buddy, Do the RIGHT thing."

This is the article that got my posting privileges revoked:

normally i don't entertain collective thinking

but i'm glad Ron Paul will have your support.

"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"
Ron Paul

There never was a "we" and never will be a "we". Even RP says it's not him, it's the message, even if RP endorsed one of them, which I cannot see EVER happening, "we" will NEVER vote for "them"!

My reply would be~~

Why would you expect anything more from them (Romney & Grinch), when they are in bed with the same corrupt bankers as Obama, and who both pushed the Banking Bailouts against the will of Americans?

Can we just get someone to be more REPUTABLE than these guys? I mean, can we get someone has a stellar reputation to be our President? Instead of guys that swoop down on companies falling apart like Freddie Mac as Gingrich did to flip a taxpayer buck? Or Romney did when his company literally destroyed DDI by pumping and dumping its stock and ruining the company in the end?

I would ask him if he is a victim of the dictator fallacy

I would hope you are not a victim of the dictator fallacy and realize that, "we", as individuals, should vote for what we really believe in our hearts, and mind. And we should not cast a vote to someone or something we do not really truly believe in. You were given the freedom to vote for who and what you truly believe in, for a reason. It's your decision to make and no one else's. That IS freedom.

I have spent

I have spent my TIME and MONEY to get Ron Paul elected.. I will not settle for people who do not share my values and ideals.

Its Ron Paul or nothing.

Vets For Paul!

John Quincy Adams and Samuel Adams

"Always vote your principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." -John Quincy Adams.

"Let us contemplate our forefathers, and posterity, and resolve to maintain the rights bequeathed to us from the former, for the sake of the latter. The necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude and perseverance. Let us remember that 'if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom,' it is a very serious consideration ... that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event." -Samuel Adams.

The Founders of this great nation abhorred tyrrany and loved liberty.

The sad thing is, those

The sad thing is, those people are probably the majority.
