There were several new viewers to the channel during last nights coverage. However we could really use some help from you. We are looking for reporters, producers, commentators, graphics designers, video editors, tech support, web designers, etc. If you have a skill, chances are we could use you. This effort is 100% volunteer and is not dependant on any donations or financial support. If you are interested in helping an independent media channel spread the message of freedom and liberty please contact us straight away.

Additionally there are other (sister) channels being developed that will feature news, events, human interest stories, etc without focusing directly on the RP campaign. We could use your help there too.

I have been part of a project called Livestream since early on when it was known as Mogulus. This powerful and feature rich platform allows for live broadcasting of pre-recorded video content, as well as "on-location" correspondents and reporters.

The channel is currently live and being tested.

How you can help:

I am looking for user submitted content, as well as anyone interested in providing live feeds, story's and campaign footage. I could also use graphics designers and technical directors.

Once the channel is stable, its my intention to launch a massive marketing campaign to promote the channel.

I am not in America and therefore cannot vote, so this is one small way I am trying to help spread the message of liberty. Do you want to help too? If so, send me a message or leave a comment expressing your interest.

Skype users needed for testing

We wish to add a feature that allows users viewing the stream to call in via Skype. We need a couple of people who use Skype to help us with some connection testing etc.

If you wish to help please add PresidentRonPaul to your Skype contacts and give us a ring. Testing shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes at most.

Some feedback please

I am working on some transitions, segue's and sweepers for the stream. I will be doing this through the afternoon and evening of the 29th January.

If anyone has a few minutes to watch and check things like sound quality, transitions etc that will be great.

I am also doing some testing with stream live with remote "reporters". If anyone wants to volunteer to test this that would be great. You can use any pc, mac, or smartphone with an internet connection.

I'd love to get this 100% tested in time for the primary in FL on Tuesday.

If you would like to contribute video or live feed please let me know. Content needed is live events, personal reports, etc. All that is required is a computer or smartphone with an internet connection. You can also submit pre-recorded content for broadcast as part of a live stream.

Firefox has been tested now

using version 9.0.1 an the stream plays perfectly with no need to download/install anything. If using Firefox (or any other browser), please make sure you have the latest version with all security updates an plugins.

Internet Explorer is not recommended for web use due to many security reasons. Chrome, Firefox or Safari are better options.

Firefox tried to download an "update" and Internet Explorer locked my computer so bad, I had to restart.

That was no update

I closed my browser quickly before the download had a chance to install itself. That was no update. Microsoft would prompt you first about the browser update, especially if another website initiates the download first. My guess is that it was malware, or a forced toolbar installer for pushing adverts.

Bump - we need this. We need to circumvent the MSM and have other options for "T.V." I can try to provide some live feeds (maybe during caucus or exit polling). What are your ideas - would it be a liberty channel or just exclusive to Ron Paul?

At the moment I am open to all types of liberty related content. If it becomes apparent that we need a dedicated liberty/freedom channel I will do that too!

I really am keen to get live feeds from caucus events etc on the days they occur.

It did the same thing and I chose not to download since I did not recognize the name it was coming from. Clinked on the link again to get the name of the download site and then it worked. Hope I am not being spied on. Love the idea of this and RevPac to circumvent the MSM. I guess that is why they are scared and trying to in act SOPA. Would be willing to help (live in the south US region, just email me.

I can assure you there is no spying. Once the channel is stable and the content available, a companion website will be launched in order to bypass livestream.

I went to the link and then was redirected to a page that told me my browser needed to be updated. It then began to show a progress bar downloading an "Update" . I quickly closed the page. I am using Firefox and it is up to date.

Did anyone else experience this?
