Pensacola For Ron Paul 2012 Grassroots Televised Sign Wave.

We had about 40 people turnout and our local news was there to broadcast the event. We had NO IDEA the MASSIVE amount of support that Dr. Paul had in our area of the Panhandle, because for about three hours it was a solid stream of people honking their horns and cheering out of there windows, yelling out Dr. Ron Paul's name. It was quite emotionally overwhelming what we experienced. This is a sample of the event. This one is for YOU Dr. Paul, the message of Liberty, and ALL of the hard working Patriots out there. It's a shame RP can't campaign down here...
One part of me thinks it's a shame RP doesn't campaign and speak down here (I'm in Tampa) but the other part of me is glad he doesn't have big money interests in his pocket for him to campaign here in FL.
To those voting it makes it look like he doesn't care about Florida and so he's moved on. To those that get his message we know what's going on but it is what it is.
My wife and I will cast our votes for him in tomorrow's primary.
Though I'm expecting low numbers for RP (in all reality), I'm interested to see the numbers later on. I'm rather curious as to how he'll do. I hope he can at least beat Ricky 'The Weasel' Santorum.

I came here to post a similar thought. Ron headed off to Maine, Colorado, Nevada and the Florida supporters took control. Seeing things like this sign wave and the supporters at the CNN debate is very heartening. This Revolution has legs.

Show so much drive! I grew up in Pensacola, and honestly thought the neocons ruled the roost there.
Makes me warm and fuzzy to see the Bay and the 3-mile bridge blanketed by Paul supporters.
I'm in Oregon now, but this gave me a warm and fuzzy.

There is a lesson in all of this.
All areas WOULD do so well, if they would disassociate with the more "radical" elements of Ron Paul's supporter base, those who prefer confrontation over constructive behavior. Ron Paul is about Integrity, Peace, and teaching others about the message of Liberty, building bridges in the name of Liberty, not tearing them down with disrespectful behavior towards other candidates and their supporters, honestly it really bothers me when I see videos around the net of Ron Paul "supporters" yelling and screaming at other candidates and their supporters like they were crazy or something, or those holding sign waves screaming at traffic about "conspiracy theories" in the name of Dr. Paul. It turns people off instantly, they close their ears to whatever is said after that. It does way more damage to Dr. Paul than good. I really wish others would see that and open their eyes to the damage they are doing. These videos are a perfect example of a perfect sign wave, there was massive POSITIVE association with Dr. Paul with what we did that day, and it felt SO AWESOME, to have been a part of it. We should act in public, especially when talking about Dr. Paul and the message of Liberty,like Dr. Paul was right there standing right beside us. I hope other use these tools we have provided to their advantage and work to make the world a better place in the name of Liberty. Ron Paul 2012. For Liberty, for Peace, for REAL! TELL SOMEBODY!
