Dr. Paul is right on the Fed
Here is a simple analysis I came up with that proves that QE is just one more tax. 2 countries trade with each other, Country U and Country C.
Country U is running a large budget deficit and its economy is on its knees. It implements Quantitative Easing by which it buys Government bonds using accounting entries aka printing money. A consequence of this money printing is that Country U's currency gets weaker compared to Country C, making it more competitive and hurting Country C's export businesses.
Country C, which is running a much smaller deficit, does not want its economy to get weaker because of Country U's money printing so it too decides to print money to maintain exchange rate status quo aka currency manipulation. But since Country C has a lot less debt than Country U, it can't buy enough of its debt to maintain currency parity. Instead, it buys assets like Gold, Silver, Oil Reserves and Farm land. By doing so, Country C maintains its competitiveness and becomes wealthier and wealthier.
The root cause of the problem of course is the government debt and the Central bank printing money.

If only
Congress would pass Ron Paul's Free Competition in Currency Act, then things would be liquidated in an orderly fashion. But it seems that Congress prefers to keep it's 11% approval rating. Or perhaps Congress is curious to see how low they can get that approval rating to go, lol.

He Has Such A Way With Words
Perhaps the reason he rushes during debates (and interviews) is because, unlike Romney and Gingrich, they are so quick to cut him off. If he could feel comfortable more taking his time, he'd be on equal footing and do even better.
