Ron Paul's Campaign Headquarters in WA attacked

Yesterday, with about 20 campaign volunteers in attendance at a phone bank the Washington State Headquarters was attacked by an unknown assailant who hurled a stone at a window shattering glass on a young freedom fighter whose head was less than a foot away. The glass from the approximately four inch breach rained shards on another patriot about eight feet away, thankfully not injuring her. Her young son, who at five years old is a veteran campaigner, now in his second campaign for Dr. Paul, fortunately avoided the splintered glass as he scampered about. Police were called and a report was filed.

Of significance The Seattle Times published a report filed 01/28/12 updated 01/30/12 entitled "Pivotal GOP skirmish — what, in this state?" that featured a photo of the busy phone bank...link ht tp://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2017364279_caucuses29m.html

Coincidence?

Freedom is popular...you know we are winning when unfortunate events like this happen. People instead of realizing they need to inform themselves react with violence.

Thank God no one was injured.

It did not phase them.

And to the commenter who said the perpetrator may have seen a bullet if it had happened on the east side of the state . . . folks of that persuasion just didn't happen to be present last evening, but there are plenty, never fear. The perpetrator would likely have been caught in short order, knowing some of the friends . . .

And as for thinking Bellevue is some oasis of nicety? Think again friends. It ain't the Bellevue you or your parents grew up in. . .

I hope Dr.Pauls personal security is adequate. Especially with theses new scares and break-ins. I see his 2 body guards in the clips, but always wondering if that is sufficient. Maybe there is more we don't see. Hope and pray there is.

I'm going down to Northup Way tomorrow and volunteering to watch the windows, or doing ANYTHING I can to get Ron Paul the nod from Wa, as well as nationally.
I too have a difficult time thinking anyone from Bellevue would do this, but Seattle that's not a stretch.
Who could possibly dislike Ron so much, I don't get it?

You're relatively new to DP and you are welcome here.

The answer to your question is that there are are too many to mention here. But, start with the establishment who will fight to preserve the status quo and end with MSM who are paid to make sure the masses don't support him. But, there are many, many other factions in bed with them, too.

And yes I'm relatively new to the DP, but I've been a fan of the good Dr.'s for years and years.

I guess my question was based more upon how I act than upon how someone else acts in retrospect. I take umbrage frequently at the marixists/ fascists in the DemoPublicn party, but I'd never even consider doing anything beyond speaking boldy about what if dislike.
Like Ron Paul, I've never found violence to be an issue resolution method, rather the converse is the norm when violent behavior is used, it perpetuates itself.

I'm aware of the establNuts, and am also aware that they've a lot vested in the Globalistic scheme over the last 100 odd years. I'd really like to see their plan thwarted because our nation returns to her constitutional roots.

I am too. The Eastside is a relatively calm place, tons of families. Really makes me wonder about the origins of this attack. The Seattle area does have some enviro-terrorist, libro-fascist types, but I have a hard time believing it came from any group like that. Who knows. I wish someone had caught the person.

This is a wake up call for all of us. We are all potential targets. Be aware; that Ron Paul bumper sticker on your car or T-shirt on you, or sign in front of your house or business is two-way advertizing. People who are lost could be looking for someone to blame, a scapegoat. As this system implodes, there could be a lot more of this senseless violence occurring. Be extra careful out there!

Scare tactics are just that and are usually vaporous threats. Still, everyone should be prepared to defend themselves no matter what. There are many reasons for violent behavior, unfortunately.
