Something we've lost

This is going to be a big post. Please bear with me.

When we talk to other people who seam they are totally against Ron Paul or some of his Policies, First thing I do is Assume the Student roll, this put him in the Educator roll, For Instance About the gold standard : Ask him about the gold as if you don't understand it. This can give you an insight of what his issues are with the concept. This also put's him/her a ease because in his/her mind he's in the Superior roll and in control. First ask him about the history as they understand it. and ask for opinion, This will give light to the foundation of his belief. then you can ask him about why ron Paul believes what he believes and why they think he is wrong.

Then you can. Later like days later, you can bring up things that might make him or her think about that issue and inject counters that you "Learned on the internet" Make him or her come at it from different approaches. this is how I "Wake people up. It's never a one shot deal. you must take each bit by bit. But make them think is the key. Also it might be good thing to be honest with your self about weather or not if you are on the same Intellect level as they are, and if not, find someone here who is, or over at the Blue Republican site. We got to win over there hearts and Minds Never one without the other.
