According to Sun Tzu's 'Art of War'

According to Sun Tzu's Art of War, Americans are losing:

  • There is no instance of a country ever having benefited from prolonged warfare.

  • In war, then, let your great object be victory, not lengthy campaigns.

  • If the campaign is protracted, the resources of the State will not be equal to the strain.

  • Now, when your weapons are dulled, your ardor damped, your strength exhausted and your treasure spent, other chieftains will spring up to take advantage of your extremity. Then no man, however wise, will be able to avert the consequences that must ensue.

  • There is no instance of a country having benefited from prolonged warfare.

Worth mentioning to the warmongers and chicken hawks?

Very Wise

BUMP!!!!

Well

I think it is pretty clear the so-called "leaders" of this country are about as wise as a two week old puppy. And about equally intelligent.

Either that, or they are actively engaged in destroying this country.

Take your pick.

wanna know the most hilarious part about all this?

supposedly Grinch taught military officers, for yrs.

well, even now, as far as I know, Sun Tzu's Art of War is a REQUIRED reading for ALL officers.

to which, one would assume that Grinch SHOULD be familiar with it, too, since he "taught" them.

well, guess I shouldn't be too harsh on Nut Grinch, as apparently none of the American Military brass from Vietnam-era heeded the lessons of Sun Tzu, either.

Even now, they're continuing to ignore the lessons of Art of War.

Granted, though the decision to continue warring is not entirely up to the Military Brass alone. But, if they were truly Constitutional OathKeepers, they would've stopped and refused to carry out illegal orders, all of it on their own, long ago.

Let's face it, the military brass ARE politicians, nothing more, nothing less. Oh, except for the part where unlike their geeky wonky pencil necked geek policy nerd counterparts, they can do more with a pen than just write: they can use it as a weapon, proficiently.

As I always say about Nut Grinch, what good is knowing ABOUT history, however skewed his version maybe, if the 'historian' learned nothing, FROM history?

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

Got this book for Christmas,

Got this book for Christmas, I plan to get to it after Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt.

Take the high ground... stratgic advantage.

moral and ethical high ground.

If only the 3 Chickenhawks would listen...

but they won't. Their puppetmasters and banksters would not allow that. War, War, and more War. That's their mantra. A pox on all of them.

Sun Tzu also said...

"Appear at points which the enemy must hasten to defend; march swiftly to places where you are not expected."

Obviously, Dr Paul took Sun Tzu's advice and moved to the caucus states while the 3 dumbos were shredding each other in the sunshine state.

Point taken

But it must be said, that Sun Tzu never had a reserve currency to utilize. If and when the Dollar loses Reserve status, expect the War Machine to move into DefCon 5 or a Soviet style, relatively peaceful collapse.

You still have the same

You still have the same problem with the reserve currency, but it allows the leaders to delay it by pushing the problem onto the next generation. Now the leaders wrongly think they can continue doing the same because of how the FED works. Removing the FED and the "money printing" ability would give more immediate feedback and therefore more political pressure.

Your point shows the danger of the FED with irresponsible leaders.

That's my limited understanding if the subject.

Ron Paul Argument--We are

Ron Paul Argument--We are fighting wars in multiple countries, covert and overt, spending $1Trillion to do so, and killing thousands of people every year. If you throw in the interest only debt, it consumes the entire personal income tax (your 1040) for all of the US.

American Public Response--Don't mess with our check.

Timeless wisdom from Vizzini

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...

great movie lol

great movie lol

I love that movie!

The PRINCESS BRIDE

hahah

great movie.

Favorite Part:

Fezzik: You never said anything about killing anyone.
Vizzini: I've hired you to help me start a war. It's a prestigious line of work, with a long and glorious tradition.
Fezzik: I just don't think it's right, killing an innocent girl.
Vizzini: Am I going MAD, or did the word "think" escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic land mass.
Inigo Montoya: I agree with Fezzik.
Vizzini: Oh, the sot has spoken. What happens to her is not truly your concern. I will kill her. And remember this, never forget this: when I found you, you were so slobbering drunk, you couldn't buy Brandy!
[turning to Fezzik]
Vizzini: And YOU: friendless, brainless, helpless, hopeless! Do you want me to send you back to where you were? Unemployed, in Greenland?

Maybe Ron Paul should hold a press conference

with all the Veterans for Ron Paul standing behind him, and state it very bluntly.

THIS is what brought down the Soviet Union.
THIS is what brought down the Roman Empire.
THIS endless war pushed by the other candidates and perpetrated unconstitutionally by Obama has already destroyed our economy.
Do you want to destroy the USA? This is how all other great states were destroyed.

I heard a recent speech an he

I heard a recent speech and he mentioned the Soviets withdrawing from Afghanistan.

The hawks are well aware of this

This is why they are pushing for a NWO global government, coalations of the willing, NATO....

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

The fall of the Soviet Union

The fall of the Soviet Union is a great example of this. Fighting in Afganistan for too long further the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Worth mentioning to the warmongers and chicken hawks?

No, the delusional ones won't see it and the non-delusional ones don't care about the country, just their own personal dreams of power and empire.

you assume they want the US to win

.

Are you assuming their empire will be in the US?
