Did anyone else hear Brad Pitt on Jon Stewart's Daily Show say "I'll be hanging out with Ron Paul"

He compares the Oscars to the GOP primaries, says "Clooney won IA and NH, so-and-so-actor won SC, and I'm going to be hanging with Ron Paul" implying he (Pitt) isn't doing so well in the competition. It's left to interpretation if he think he deserves more.

It really was a benign comment. Don't get too excited over something like this. If Pitt were to have said something about the Fed, that would be exciting.

Brad lost his other awards to Clooney, but the biggest election award is the academy award is the one that counts. And it is Brads last chance for Moneyball to win. Paul has lost some smaller states,but may win and should win the Big one. Not an endorsement, but an awareness. I accept any mention of his name in a good light.

At the beginning of the interview he actually was pointing out the insanity of promoting issues on the environment but then using the military for running an empire. (Everyone knows no environmental studies or permits were ever issued prior to bombing Iraq, Afghanistan or will there be in future bombing in Iran.) I think he may actually be sympathetic to the anti-war message of RonPaul as a disillusioned supporter of Obama, but just doesn't want to put his head out on the line.

Yeah not so shore. It could of been a dis actually. Its up to interpretation. But with Pitts past political leanings I have a hard time believing he is a supporter of Dr. Paul. I could be wrong but I wouldn't assume that it is an endorsement. Nor am I implying it is a dis either. Just don't know how to take it but I would not get your hopes up about it. If he has seen the light more will come out later.

The other movie guys were endorsing other candidates, but Brad will be hanging out with Ron...to mix it up....so the other guys don't get all the glory and that Ron is not blacked out. He basically endorsed Ron.

Watch the hand movements. Brad's hand on his leg....Jon's hand to his nose "and smiles under his hand"...and then points to Brad....and then Jon points to Brad again and then to himself, a couple times.... saying, "See, it's good that you and I talk."

Did he mean Clooney took Iowa and New Hampshire (with his stand for same-sex marriage?), and Jon (Stewart?) took on South Carolina, (Gary) Oldman'll probably take Florida ... and I'm gonna be hanging with Ron Paul, so I need to get in there and mix it up a bit. Missouri, the Pitt family has donated tons of money to St. Jude children's charity. Brad was raised here and has a lot of family ties. They are a major contributor and maybe less than a year ago it was a big deal where my wife works at Mercy hospital. All the owners of (St. Johns at previously) Mercy hospital gathered for the big check they wrote and to talk of their plans to build another section to the campus to help kids. One of his relatives presented it but everyone was of course still excited to meet them.

So in short, they are in line with Pauls philosophy about charity and taking care of each other. If they come out and support Ron Paul it would be big news for our small city!

Doug is a conservative Republican and was going to run for office at one point, but Brad said probably not the best idea for their charity work.
