Ron Paul is going to be holding a FREE Rally tonight at the Grand Sierra Resort @ 7 PM. The Room will be the Summit Pavilion. Get there early because we're expecting a packed crowd!

I spoke to a reporter there who had attended a Grinch, Santorum and Rombot rally yesterday as well. He said Grinch had approx. 500 people at his rally; Frothy had about 250, Romney about 800, and last night there was approximately 2,800 there to see Ron!

It was like a rock concert with a mosh pit up front! My pix really aren't that great, we were too far away. We had a great time!

I'd love to see this myself. It was the first time I'd ever seen him in person, and it was great! But it kinda flew by and I would love to watch the speech again. Maybe I'm biased but it was one of my avocets speeches of his I've ever heard. Dr Paul covered so much material, but it all flowed together very smoothly.

Do you know if someone keeps track of these? I counted at least 1500 myself, but where do you get 3000 from? Also, I have it on good authority that romney's rally earlier in the day was far under the 1000 mark.

My son and I get to see him for the very first time after a short 2.5 hour drive from north of Sacramento! Can't wait!

I'm planning on heading up to the rally from Sacramento, and I wanted to know how early I should be there. I've heard at other rallies that some people got turned away and put in other rooms to watch on a video screen. Any first-hand experience with this? I want to get there early enough to get into the main room, but I'm bringing my two small children with me, so I don't want to get there too early, as the longer they're made to stand still in one place, the crazier they can get.
