I just read this and my heart sort of dropped. I know there are a ton of rationales for this...but honestly I don't like it. Then again, I realize Rand is NOT Ron.

This is not about getting Rand a VP position. The campaign is kidding themselves if they think we'd EVER vote for Romney, under ANY circumstances. Even if Ron himself were the VP and endorsed Romney, firstly, I'd be heartbroken, secondly, I'd vote for Gary Johnson.
I don't even like Rand.
After his election, he started popping off about Hugo Chavez being a "petty tyrant" and other Bushy sounding crap. His Iran sanctions vote is only the latest confirmation that he is not to be trusted in any way.

Yes, Rand is not Ron, but, more importantly, Freedom is not Ron.
The goal is advancing Human Freedom. One method is to elect Ron Paul President of the US. There are many other methods of advancing our goal.
