Romney Gets Bump in Recent Poll, Paul Holds Second
By 2012 Nevada Caucus
In the most recent 2012NevadaCaucus.com phone poll, former Massachusetts governor, Mitt Romney has stretched his lead to 10% over the nearest competitor, Ron Paul (24%). Paul has also moved up surpassing the falling Newt Gingrich who is now in third with 14%. Rick Santorum finished in fourth with 9%. “Undecided” finished with 19%, so candidates still have time to make the 2012 Nevada Caucus a race.
Mitt Romney 34%
Ron Paul 24%
Undecided 19%
Newt Gingrich 14%
Rick Santorum 9%

Listen Up Nevada Caucus Voters!
I am sure there will be at least 5-15 percent of voters that will decide 100 percent when they are in the caucus process. Talk to people!!! Anyone who is speaking, you guys need to step up and make it happen. These undecided voters will chose the winner. We can seriously win this if we get the largest share of the undecided. I am begging you guys, do everything you can until the caucus is over!!!!!!
CNN Piers Morgan
Just watched Rick Santorum on Piers morgan. He is now Kick'n the war drum!!!!!!! And Piers had Ron Paul in last in the pole. I Dont get it?
I see a split among undecided.

Again where are Romney's credentials ?
WHERE ARE THEY ?? Can someone tell me what this man has done in his past (part of his resume) that makes him an outstanding candidate for President of the U.S. ?
Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

Well he didn't give me a corteous reach around
when Bain killed the morale and caused a massive talent purge where I worked at the time.
WE NEED THIS!
We can't bare another consecutive disappointment. A strong 2nd place in NV is pretty good, but we need to get rid of that "only candidate yet to win a primary" talking point. And we need to trounce that joker Santorum!

I kind of hate polls... just a little bit...
I mean yea they're great to see how your candidate is doing overall in the state (i guess) but when you think about all of the undecideds, the folks that usually go for the guy they think will win, i think the polls do some harm to us at times.
I mean think about it, if your an average guy who doesn't pay any attention to what the heck is going on in the world, and just so happens to vote based on tradition, and he sees that last minute poll. He's more than likely to vote for the guy who appears in first place. And unfortunately, the news is always more than happy to have a schmuck like Romney or the other two clowns showing in first place to garner those undecideds.
That's what i mean when i don't like polls. If you don't know who to vote for, then why bother voting at all... :( I'm sorry I'm having a bad day :(
I kind of wish their wasn't polls at times so folks would be forced to either think about those candidates or simply just go for the most pleasant sounding name instead of going for the first place guy. Again i apologize everyone, Not in the greatest mood as of right now :(

The state's 28 delegates will be based on the statewide totals. One delegate will be awarded for every 3.57 percent of votes received, making it likely that all four candidates will walk away with delegates.
-------- According to the latest polling numbers that means
Mitt Romney 10 delegates
Ron Paul 7 delegates
Looks great, but a win would be so much more symbolic....
Delegates
My understanding is that it is not quite that simple.

I still can't get over the 19% undecideds in NV...what can we do to encourage ALL of them to vote for Ron Paul? Nope, because people are too lazy
to count the votes at election time. They'll run some sort of trick to negate it and nobody will be the wiser.
Sure, we'll have our suspicions but that's all we'll have.

The Mormon vote
Remember Nevada went to Romney in 2008 because of the Mormon vote. Don't overlook that. I hope RP's campaign is not overlooking that. There needs to be education specifically directed at the LDS church. I wish we could get some reputable LDS folks in high places that would endorse him.

The Constitution is an "inspired" document from my understanding of the LDS viewpoint. If it becomes public Willard won't enforce it, he can really step in it. That's his weakness and Paul's strength IMHO.

What really resonates, said Isbell and other LDS supporters of Paul, is how the Texas congressman has been consistent with the issues while Romney's position has changed on abortion and same-sex marriage, among others.
"There's a lot of consternation in the community over (the choice)," said Isbell, 29, former political director of the Republican Party in Clark County, where the majority of Nevada's voters reside. "We want to support one of our own. But once they hear where they all are on the issues, they listen."
Now, Paul's supporters see an opening. Mormons view the Constitution as a divinely inspired document and no GOP candidate still in the race mentions the sanctity of the Constitution as frequently as Paul.
"As a Mormon, when you meet someone who shares your faith, you have an instant bond," said Aaron Anderson, a Las Vegas real estate agent who supported Romney four years ago but now backs Paul. And if a politician is Mormon, "you assume they share your values."
But Anderson said it is Paul who "better espouses the freedoms that are spelled out in the Constitution."
RP's campaign is definitely not overlooking the Mormon vote
They have a Latter-day Saints for Ron Paul coalition.
Here's some about that from his website http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2012/01/30/in-case-you-missed-it-...
The significance of a Ron
The significance of a Ron Paul victory in Nevada...
Ever since Newt said let's all go to the moon, his polling numbers have taken a beating. Ever since Mitt Romney launched his campaign he has struggled to win over the hearts and minds of true constitutional conservative Americans. There is a giant vacuum and Ron Paul's about to fill it because he is the ONLY man capable of beating Barack Obama in 2012. One can not beat a billion dollar political machine with the same Goldman Sachs money. Only the wisdom, and grassroots support of Ron Paul's campaign can defeat Chairman Obamao.
Ive noticed they have not spoke of the polls much lol
every time the keep the hush on Paul we know he is doing good
