They were not applauding Deacons Question....
which was a good one. The Sheriff's answer to Deacons question of "What would you do if the Federal Government overstepped its boundaries enforcing NDAA.." was not a good answer. The fact he received applause shows people have no comprehension of what it was he was asked.
Welchs' answer was that he has a "good working relationship with the Federal Government", and he didn't see the threat of "the Federal government coming in to take over my county". That was what was being applauded.
Additionally,he doesn't consider himself a "constitutional" sheriff, as much as the more "controversial" ones. Based on this video, I would not vote for this guy.
