Rand, Please do not accept a VP offer.
Submitted by Michaelpann1 on Fri, 02/03/2012 - 08:33The idea that Rand should be considered as the Republican nominee's VP, doesn't sit well with me.
IMO, they can consider all they want but Rand should decline all of those offers. My reasoning is, right now he occupies an important seat as Senator. He has four years left in his term. His dad is not returning to the House. And as we saw with the NDAA debate, he lead the Liberty/Constitutional position opposing those despicable, traitorous sections.
The Liberty movement needs him right where he is.
Do we really want to lose that seat?
The suggestion is to trade that seat and the remaining term of years for a VP slot with a nominee, who is not Ron Paul, and is not guaranteed to beat Obama?
Rand's seat in the Senate advances Liberty and fidelity to the Constitution.
It's loss would be a win to the establishment and setback for Liberty.

I agree with the OP.
I think that the GOP realizes that they cannot corrupt Ron Paul, but they think that they can corrupt Rand Paul.
They probably think that because he is early in his career, and they think they can somehow turn him, because they are experts at that.
I don't know about that.
But, I would much rather have Rand in the Senate, and in the VP office, and I think the Senate position would do us a lot more good than a worthless VP spot that pushes Rand out of the picture.
