It's interesting. Who needs college if you can get the information like this?
My mother was shredding an old tax return, which she does annually. She told me that she came across a gas & electric bill from five years ago.
This is coastal California: Her bill, now, is $160 per month. Five years ago, it was under $80. In the meantime, they've changed all the light bulbs, and put in a better heating system, and these things initially saved them money, but inflation has obviously taken its toll.
It's going to be tough for those on fixed incomes.
