already 4th in NH-New Poll1
Submitted by wjenkins on Fri, 01/04/2008 - 23:23
ARG has released a new New Hampshire poll. We are in 4th behind McCain, Romney, and Huckabee. But at 9% we are within the polls margin of error (4%) of catching Huckabee (12%).

Look for the source
Different places have different sources. In Rasmussen we are in 3rd. Others, 4th. Others, 5th.
The truth, though, is that we are making a major climb in ratings thus far. Ron started at 0% practically, but the climb in the few last days has been dramatic. Even with media blackout.
Let's see what the polls say Monday, and then let's hope for the best Tuesday.
Let's not only hope... let's go spread the message, shall we?
old news, we are in third place
John McCain 31%
Mitt Romney 26%
Ron Paul 14%
Mike Huckabee 11%
Rudy Giuliani 8%
Fred Thompson 5%
from rasmussen reports
Pick off McCain votes
This is GOOD good good. McCain has a lot of support, but with his Make it 100 comment, Ron Paul supporters can switch them all over.
The false Huckaboo
.
The Huck followers probably aren't getting this type of warning from their pastors.
"THE CHURCH OF HUCK: GROWING GOV'T. IN THE NAME OF RELIGION"

Most pastors are too busy licking the government's boots, as seen in this mainstream news report out of Louisiana:
"Clergy to Collaborate With Government During Martial Law"

With Huckabee as president, you can expect him to get us all to lick boots in the name of god.

What to say
I feel we know what to say / bring up (i.e. ICC, anti-taxes etc etc )
But does HQ know. Are they pushing this where ever RP is campaigning? I just dont see it. are they being aggresive?
The american voter needs to know this stuff. we as Americans are in the dark and RP can light the way . They need to get the truth out RP is very intelligent and 30 secs doesnt do it . Do an infomercial on the dollar after all ITs the ECONOMY STUPID.
Give me some feed back cause I want RP to win in NH
Zogby was very close on all and right on for RP in Iowa

How was their accuracy on
How was their accuracy on Iowa, btw?

ARG in Iowa
They did a poll about a week before the caucus saying RP had 4%.
They did another one a few days later putting RP at 10%.
That's a mighty big change in 3 or 4 days, but... their last poll before the caucus was precisely correct.

According to their research
According to their research Paul's numbers have fallen today.
That can't be good. Perhaps we'll see an upward spike like last time just before the next vote.

i know some had hoped for
i know some had hoped for third in iowa but RP *really* has a solid chance at third in NH. he NEEDS third. but he can do it.... this is much friendlier territory than iowa. i also would like to speculate that mike huckabee will get a NEGATIVE bounce as NH voters reject huckabee's religion-on-his-shirtsleeve social conservatism.
Pathetic!
Huckabee gets a boost from the evil CFR and he goes from 3% to 12%, and McCain has every liberal paper in the state endorse him and he comes back from the dead because people have short memories.
He won't sign an anti-tax pledge!
He is for International Criminal Courts.
He has no temperment to be president.
He collaborates more with Ted Kennedy than anyone else.
Meanwhile, Paul has a literal army of people here that are practically overwhelming the campaign, has put out 16 robocalls, 15 pieces of full color literature, ads constantly on the radio and tv and he rises to 9%.
The media just makes our job that much harder.
The campaign needs to learn how to play the media
You can see the talking heads want to say nice things about Paul and talk up his momentum. He is gaining respect. But they constantly need fresh fodder. The campaign has not been good at feeding the media - few press releases, few surrogates, etc. Hopefully the recent press releases on veteran support means they're catching on.
keep your heads up
This is only one state. And this is only one caucus. A positive spin is what we must focus on. Keep the positive because it can change the way we view it. We have a whole life's work ahead of us. If we get RP in we have congress to deal with, we have the nation to deal with, we have the sheeple to deal with and what better reality show to deal with than this? We have to change more than the media we have a whole spectrum of issues ahead!
My bad
http://www.pollster.com/
Even better news: If you go over to RCP, the last three ARG polls taken had Paul at 2, 4, and 7 respectively. We are at 9 now. It had become so cliche, but "he's catchin' on"
The poll was taken between Jan. 1-3
Here are the percentages:
1. McCain - 35%
2. Romney - 25%
3. Huckabee - 12%
4. Paul - 9%
5. Giuliani - 8%
6. Thompson - 1%
7. Hunter - 1%
Propaganda
I can't imagine that any good NH GOPer would vote for a guy who won't even take an anti-tax pledge. This is basic to NH values!!!!!!!!!!!
They have short memories and don't remember what he did with campaign finance 'reform' and that he is a proponent of the ICC (International Criminal Court)
This is just so disgusting.
Why do people think McCain is for reduced SPENDING?
Why do people think McCain is for reduced SPENDING? He is against pork -- and I applaud that -- but he is very much in favor of other, larger, more significant spending.

"Paul beats Huckster and Julie-Annie"
I can see the headline now.....huckleberry wont find many evangelical christians to hand over their vote in NH.
Thompson and Hunter drop out, finally (down to 5)....Fox is exposed as a sham...gooliani heads for Fla as fast as he can....Romney wonders if 62 mil will ever buy him a win
lets get that Civil War message ready for South Carolina!!
