PAHRUMP, Nev. – GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul used the final day before the Nevada caucuses to shore up support in what’s considered his key stronghold in the state, rallying a boisterous crowd to get out the vote.
“Let’s make sure we have a victory on Saturday and send a strong message,” Mr.Paul said, his exhortations drowned out by supporters’ cheers.
The head of the Paul campaign in Nevada, Carl Bunce, earlier predicted the Texas congressman would win Nye County, one of two counties Mr. Paul won in the 2008 nominating process. “You are a power center. I have no worries about Nye Co.,” Mr. Bunce told the crowd.
