Was not Dr. Paul the lone voice supporting Israels soveriegnty when they hit the nuclear facilities in Iraq?
These guys are amazing. I hope that someone was able to call in and straigten him out on that one.....I tried but busy over and over...must have been all the pissed off revolutionaries.

If I understand Ron Paul's stance, he would not support an Israeli strike on Iran, he would also say that Israel should have the right to act on their own initiative. In other words Israel is a sovereign country that acts in its own best interest.Ron Paul would also divorce the USA from Israel's decision and not come to her rescue from the inevitable blowback that results from Israel's decision. Of course Congress could declare war on Iran after the fact, and as Commander in Chief Paul would be required to fight that war as well. I cannot imagine that Ron Paul would appoint a neocon to be Secretary of State. I don't think you would have a Condi Rice or a Colin Powell lying to our congress about a non-existent Iranian nuclear threat and our Secretary of State wouldn't veto any UN Resolutions against Israel. But from the conversation... others may not see it that way......basically it boils down to Israel having the right to make her own decisions...thats what Dr. Paul supports. Whether or not he agrees with the decision is another thing.....that was not brought forth while I was listening. Great point...agreed. I may have jumped the gun a bit (savage can hit a nerve) and I was unable to listen after the initial statement was made.....it could well have been clariified once my car was off. Were you listening?

He was going to close Guantanamo remember? The main reason I want Ron elected is because I know he wouldn't put neocons in positions to gin the war. This could be a mute point, given the fact that Obama is at the helm now. He would back Israel and he's putting sanctions on Iran while we are conversing. The neocons want this war and they want to tie us to Israel. Without US backing, I don't think Israel would even consider bombing Iran. Obama does have neocon advisors and he is a globalist. Keep your seat belt tightened, it's going to be a bumpy road. Sorry to shout, but RON PAUL SUPPORTS THE SOVEREIGNTY OF ISRAEL! He also supports ending the War on Drugs. Freedom entails the right to make bad decisions as individuals and as countries.
