Ron Paul Rocks Nevada! Gingrich "unraveling"...right before our eyes

It's an hilarious article at Politico...showing the pathetic state of the Newt Gingrich campaign in Nevada.

The Ron Paul campaign expects to exceed all expectations in the Silver State.

There's less and less good news for Newt Gingrich these days, not even when he's in Las Vegas with his best billionaire buddy, Sheldon Adelson.

According to Politico, the Gingrich people couldn't put together a little 25 phone operation to work the state for a few days....

Meanwhile, Ron Paul's now famous, ongoing Phone From Home program Rocks On!

Plus, the State GOP Chair says it's down to Romney vs. Paul in a piece with this quote:

"We have a huge Ron Paul following out here, and a huge Mitt Romney following. ... Those two never left our state," Tarkanian said. "They are both organized like I've never seen, they have coalitions put together like I've never seen; Ron Paul even has a [Latter-day Saint's Church] coalition ... so not all the Mormon's are going to go to Mitt Romney."

"The Ron Paul campaign

"The Ron Paul campaign expects to exceed all expectations in the Silver State." Expecting to exceed expectations, eh? :)

I don't trust this

The News usually says Ron is strong when he is weak, and weak when strong. I'm on the edge of my seat with fingers and toes crossed Ron's support is gigantic in NV...!!!

Vote fraud is not possible in Nevada

I was fortunate enough to be able to volunteer in 08 in the Nevada Caucus. All votes are with a paper ballet and are counted in front of witnesses from each campaign. How I wish all states were as open as Nevada is with the voting process.

Newt is still ahead of RP by 10%

explain that.

Those willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.

Intentionally skewed polls.

Frank Luntz made a crack about having the right pollster making all the difference. I doubt he was joking.

submit the poll(s) you are referencing? Remember the CNN poll

a few months back where they had Ron Paul at 0% of the vote when he was winning all the peoples polls at the very same time? Come to find out that the CNN poll was taken from 56 republican party INSIDERS...

PPP & LVRJ: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zohtQtMlLqs&lc It will be nice if he comes out well ahead of polls for a change. If he gets less than his 2008 14%, I would be very disappointed

He hasn't got less than 1.9x his 2008 campaign numbers yet.

If he does, then someone probably should look into it, especially in a heavy Libertarian leaning state.

Those numbers don't matter

It's how many delegates he gets.

The poll numbers don't matter.

The preference vote doesn't matter.

It's how many people go to the state convention.

It's looking great for Ron Paul no matter what the media has said before and no matter what they say tomorrow night.

True ..... But

A strong popular vote finish is the ONLY way he will get any positive coverage. I know what you are saying, but there are a LOT Of people that won't vote for him because they don't think he can win. He has to prove that a large percentage of the population want him for president. Not the end of the world if he does less than 15-20% but if he broke 30% i think alot more people would take a closer look. And if he where to win, lookout. They will all jump on the bandwagon and brag how they have been a supporter the longest.

Most of the voting public still relies on mainstream media for almost all news and information.

Our job is to reach them with the truth.

I agree with you.

We've got to know the problems going in and work on changing the voters sources of information.

Alot of that is generational and it's happening before our eyes now and will continue to happen.

ahead in what?

You cannot poll a caucus.

Do you understand that explanation?

If not, consider this:

The vote for candidates tomorrow IS NOT the point of the exercise.

The point is to walk out of those caucuses knowing that you have successfully done everything you can to send as many delegates as you can to the State Convention.

AT THAT convention they will choose national convention delegates.

Newt isn't ahead of anyone or anything...he's probably not got as many actual living supporters in Nevada as Rick Santorum, who also has almost zero ground game in that state.

IT DOESN'T matter how many voters say they support Gingrich, or Romney for that matter.

What matters is which candidate has serious supporters who get themselves elected as delegates and proceed to the next step toward the state convention.

Just like Iowa is far from over and probably will yield a WIN for Ron Paul, so too Nevada isn't over and won't be over tomorrow.

Tomorrow is not the END, it's not the beginning of the End, it's the End of the Beginning.

Let's all say a prayer

Let's all say a prayer tonight.

I can feel the electricity.

How exciting to be in the trenches for Newt. Sounds like it's about time to send in an entomology team to study the arrival of carrion feeding insects.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

Gotta like how they said they had "scheduling problems" at the hotel...

Happens, but dubious sounding anyway.

And apparently their new office "suite" didn't exactly impress the reporter types.

Right, I gave up bigfoot for sixfoot ;-)

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

longbed would be better

With a longbed you would not need to abandon Big Foot altogether.

Gingrich never had any

Gingrich never had any campaign organization anywhere. The only reason he hasn't dropped out of the race yet is because the media lead people to believe that he did well in the debates.

And because people don't really like Mitt Romney.

Right. Neither Gingrich nor Santorum have an actual ground operation.

No one has what Ron Paul has, in terms of enthusiastic doers that he doesn't need to pay.

Their fundraising costs alone keep them from doing anywhere near with their dollar what Ron Paul can squeeze out of every one of his dollars.

I live in Vegas for 17 yrs

I live in Vegas for 17 yrs and if Gingrich has any following over 5 percent, its totally rigged. No way No how he will beat Dr Paul.

17 years

You should have a dozen friends to take to caucus in the morning!

I think that's a safe bet

I agree. Too bad the casinos don't have a line on that. I'd ask you to put something down for me!

SteveMT's picture

Newt should have no problem understanding the losers code of....

ethics in Vegas. He rolled the dice with his candidacy, and he got "snake eyes."

I hope Nevadans will

I hope Nevadans will seriously question the outcome if Newt comes out ahead of Ron Paul considering the information in this article.

I will scream at the top of

I will scream at the top of my lungs "VOTER FRAUD" if Newt comes in at 20-30%. He's not liked there generally, and Paul has been on the ground, and, for the first time in a while 'outspending him' there(in regards to events, and, from what the article says, money, since Newt isn't even spending anything there), AS WELL as being popular. Newt getting second would mean something suspicious is up, either in the vote, or otherwise(funding if Gingrich somehow starts doing hard campaigning in the 11th hour.)

Yea, the Gangrich Slampain

wanted to do a phone bank using shoe phones
Maxwell Smart style--------what a PUTZ !!!!

he needed Agent 99

He didn't have Agent 99...we've got Ron Paul Girl.

It's all over for the Newt Man!
