"Ron Paul Could Win the Whole Thing" (from Lew Rockwell)
Submitted by IamVoting4RonPaul on Sat, 01/05/2008 - 00:07So says a political "pollster" and consultant Matt Towery interviewed today by Ron Smith on WBAL Radio in Baltimore.
He said, "Who ever wins the Florida primary will be the nominee." Ron sounded kind of shocked at this, but the consultant explained why: Huckleberry, Romney, Thompson and McCain have spent enormous sums of money on Iowa and New Hampshire. Some have almost exhausted their funds. Florida is the Big Primary before "Super Tuesday" and whomever wins it will have momentum going into Super Tuesday. To win all those states on Super Tuesday will require A LOT OF MONEY for political advertising in all those states. Ron Paul is sitting on a $20 million war chest, whereas some of the others are nearly broke.
Have you donated today?
Good luck to us all,
Lisa C.

44,000 letters need to be written to Florida voters
Posted January 5th, 2008 by zeplinwolf
This Ron Paul letter writing campaign has been reaching voters in Iowa, Wyoming, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Michigan.
44,000 addresses available right now for Florida.
Please get involved and send some personal letters to voters in Florida introducing them to Ron Paul.
It's easy. Start with 30 if you like. It will make a difference.

MI primary is Tuesday, January 15
This is a couple of weeks before Florida, but I think the post is referring to the psychological effect of the Florida primary just a week before Super Tuesday being the most recent primary.
Momentum, not money
Sounds like his point is that the candidate who gets momentum out of Florida will win on Feb 5th. I agree. It won't matter how much money the losers have. You can't buy enough ads to compete with the free media ride of the winner.
Lots of Newspaper ads
These would be very, very effective here in Florida. Lots of people still get up, read the paper then talk about what they saw or read.
Hello HQ
Does NHQ have a game plan for each state?
How can we find out ?Seems like where doing all the work
But he's at 3% (almost last place) right now
How in the Huckabee will Dr. Paul win Florida when the polls have him the low single digits right now and 40,000 letters are needed? Can anyone in Florida give this site an "on the ground" update? Given the history of Florida's inept vote counting, it doesn't look like it will come down to a hanging chad this time. What can we do besides work and donate money? More blimp time down there?

Thank you!
That was a greater response than I expected! Sounds like you guys are all over it and we appreciate that very, very much. Are there any "chip in" groups that need donations, money that won't be counted toward our campaign contributions?
JJ
Since you asked, as always financial assistance is appreciated.
100% will go toward "promoting" our "Meetup" to make it the best "Social Club" Meetup around. Here is the site:

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!
Pay no attention
to the Florida polls. I don't think they make sense. I know quite a few Ron Paul supporters there, and many friends that are wavering. The meet up groups are really pro active, and Florida is not at all southern in it's mentality. There are MANY people that are sick of Bush and his policies.
Florida Meetups
are some of the most pro-active I have come across. I have faith in Florida.
I would like to hear more out of Michigan, South Carolina AND California, New York, Illinois, Texas, New Jersey. . .???
Could Meetup group organizers chime in and let us know how you are doing and what you need from us?
Good luck to us all,
Lisa C.

Love it.
Let's get to work on Florida.
What about Michigan?
Michigan has as many delegates as Florida. Go Spartans.
Really? This is important.
When is the MI primary in relation to Floridas?

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.
So what is the Florida
So what is the Florida strategy, and how is it being implemented at all levels? Strategically where are the wins most important? Florida is obvious, California would be obvious, but for it's Democratic lean...
Where are the strategists in our campaign? Strategy is EVERYTHING in this, folks.
