A little 2nd amendment assistance please...?
Submitted by free.king on Sat, 02/04/2012 - 21:141040 filling inquiries have earned us a grand jury indictment . Upon appearance we were "processed" and informed that our 2nd amendment rights were revoked...
We have not been convicted of any crime.
If anyone has some expertise in this area, I'd love to hear from you.

Since the government doesn't grant rights, it cannot revoke them
So I'm confused unless you can provide more details.
This isn't a lot to go on.
Grand jury indictment typically denotes a serious felony, in which case an indictment can in fact SUSPEND 2nd amendment rights until your dilemma is sorted out in court. They may not outright revoke them until conviction, no matter what they said. It's a similar example in the case of misdemeanor DV. One spouse hits another and calls the police, the first thing that happens is firearms are removed from the premises and held until the case is sorted out in order to prevent a possible escalation that could result in a homicide (mileage varies according to states of course, but here it is immediate).
With this being a 1040 filing (I'm assuming tax-related), it may not be a violent felony, but if you are deemed a flight risk or there are other circumstances or filings that we as the public are not aware of, this suspension of 2A often happens in federal cases. I would not seek any advice from this forum, as the chances are you will dig yourself in deeper. Find a good attorney that practices within the scope of your case, let him look it over, and see what is going on.
This "gubbermint" is completely out of control....
they do; however, still have suck asses working for them that will shoot you for a paycheck...Having said that...I would say yes sir, three bags full..and keep my guns and rights to myself. We all do and are disobeying government in covert and overt ways.

I'd tell them to come get them.
You cannot be denied of 2nd Amendment rights without a felony conviction. Our traitors in the Senate took 2nd Amendment rights from anyone convicted of MISDEMEANOR spousal abuse, but they had no Constitutional authority to do so. In fact, the Lautenberg Amendment was an ex-post facto Bill of Attainder in 1996 or 97.
Stand your ground now or don't complain when you are run over later.
Horrors! I hope someone has an answer.
Good luck to you in fighting this.
