Complete results would not be made public until every vote was counted, he said, though some 400 votes from 30 out of a total of 1,073 precincts were posted by the party.
“We’re probably going to be going all night,” Stroupe said.

I joined the libertarian party in 1978, and was an associate of Dave Nolan. I voted for RP in 1988. I attended BOTH nevada Republican State conventions in 2008 as a delegate.
About two months ago I went to the Ron Paul offices in southern Nevada and gave the head officials there a solid gold issue on a silver plate that would have garnered RP a great deal of positive publicity. I believe that I have a free market solution to the current housing mess. It may not work, but not a single person has told me why it would not work, and I have shown it to about 40 professionals in real estate, finance and law. No one will know if it will work or not until it is seriously tried, but similar ideas work here and abroad.

You might notice that the Name Ron Paul is not mentioned.
Do you think that if Dr. Paul had presented a possible free market solution to the housing/foreclosure crisis to the people of nevada that the results of the caucus just may have been a tad bit more favorable to Dr. Paul?

But why do something new and different when you already have a strategy that will get you a solid third place finish (as predicted by all polls and intrade.com) and a chance to whine, complain and cast blame at THEM whic is much more fun.

Weren't the counts announced at each caucus? Didn't we have people phoning/texting/tweeting them in to be published, separately from the party macnine's numbers, so we'd have a check on those numbers and an indication of where any fraud had taken place?

Recount means Rewrite
The purpose of a caucus is to count the votes in front of everyone in the caucus and THEN report the numbers to the final center. That way they are verified when posted on the election results. Read the following article and understand that once the votes leave the caucus they can do anything they want with them. This is FRAUD, pure and simple and they know it.

I'm from Nevada, involved in the state NRCC (and more)
and have little respect for Woody Stroup who is Vice Chairman of CLARK COUNTY. He is who first brought up the whole disenfranchisemnt of Sheldon Adelson, et al. on a county chair conference call in early December.
In contrast, the Nevada GOP vice chairman (oops- he is actually acting Nevada GOP Chairman as of 12:00 AM) has gone to the mat for us many times for what is right and fair- and just so happens to be a Ron Paul guy.(I don't think he is currently on the ground in Las Vegas.)
Our Nevada GOP Secretary is working diligently in Las Vegas to untangle the mess from yesterday so he can certify the vote for Nevada. He ran for this position specifically to assure a fair and aboveboard process!
It is the Clark County Chairman and his executive board (except one honest Ron Paul supporter) that have made this mess.
Stay tuned, be patient and pray for wisdom and fair hearts.

Since when is it legitimate to convene a recount of votes during and before the initial count has completed - this sounds very strange and I suspect skullduggery. For the GOP vice chairman Woody Stroupe to say this is normal party procedure is a deception tactic, I only hope that there are some 'independant' people viewing/monitoring the process. It really stinks when no justifiable reason is given for the recount

When are the final results going to be released?
I know there is a ton skepticism going on but everyone should wait to see the final tallies before formulating a logical response. I am certainly not happy with how the numbers are looking in comparison to '08 numbers and the results of the '12 so far, along with the continuing allegations of voter fraud and intimidation. Having said that, patience is a virtue and must be used. After all Ron Paul's path to the convention will be a long and tough ordeal as we all had known.

It's pretty simple:
Release the publicly verified and attested count.
Allow those present to verify, audit or challenge that announcement.
Then, recount or reaffirm, in court if necessary..
Caucuses are the gold standard - entirely auditable.
Withholding results to affirmation by a centralized body is illegal and anathema to any process, franchise, party election law or candidate.
And...
Have they lost their minds entirely? This is well documented, auditable and prosecutable civilly and criminally unlike black box vote states.

It takes a little longer than thought to ADD 10,000 new votes to the count.

Now with NV at 70% reporting he has 4,619/18.6% of the votes. So how does this make scense when growth is averaged at 2.7% in the last 4 primaries;

NH: 7.7% to 22.9%, an increase of almost x3
SC: 3.7% to 13%, an increase of x3.5
FL: 3.2% to 7%, an increase of x2.18
Actual average of growth should have us at 37%. The GOP is trying to tell me we had NO GROWTH in NV in the past four years?

I really believe they switched Ron Paul's numbers with Gingrich.
Ron Paul had double the turn-out at his rallies and had been 'working' the state for a couple of months.
Funny things happen on the way to final results.
It looks like the GOP puts on a pretty good show at the caucus level, calling out vote counts and all. But, when the total button is hit........it magically spit out Newt as #2! They take the caucus results into the secret "count room" and lo, and behold, the results can be anything they want them to be! I'm surprised they didn't spit out Santorum as 3rd, just to piss off Ron Paul. Until the campaign steps up with a legal challange, this will continue. I know a "Philadelphia" lawyer that will throw all kinds of havoc into the GOP's little counting party for a couple of thousand bucks fee. He'll have more paperwork flying in their face than they can handle. You've seen the Allstate commercial with "mayhem". This guy creates legal mayhem. They wouldn't dare make a mistep for fear of personal legal service. I hate the way the campaign let's them dump on them without any fight. If there is fraud, surely the campaign can counter react? Right?

I don't think the campaign can officially say "voter fraud" because:
1. it looks bad to non RP supporters.
2. taints the Repubican party (more backlash)
3. long drawn out process
4. evidence can be manipulated by the time anything is resolved.
5. New Hampshire recount was a fiasco even though it showed alot of errors in reporting.
Maybe a Superpac could step up but we really need to get organized to watch and report future votes. Of course, in our States case they took the ballots and counted them in secret, so bylaws need to be changed.
Because you need proof.
Where are the darn results this is not rocket science - each voting place publicly counts the votes at the end of the caucus - what were the original vote tallies?
Why the recount? what are we comparing the recount to?

When you say treason is that punishable by death because its the people vote they are messing with and that is to me is unforgivable. All votes is sacrosanct. Unless they are trying to dupe all of us that this is a democratic system and yet its rigged all along. All the actual votes cast must tally from actual to the digital version presented. In fact it should be broadcast live for the public to see.
Also all MSM are flashing fake poll at the screen putting check, high percentage etc. Even on interview of Ron Paul its all Mitt Romney fake percentage flashing. Media is distorting reality and brainwash people to think that Mitt is winning. Look at the support from Las Vegas. The actual world os not reflecting what we see on the media.

They won't even say there is a recount going down in the most populous county in Nevada. They must be freaking out. What's going on behind closed doors is the question. This is a huge story amid a black out. I would imagine that some Ron Paul supporters/poll watchers are engaged in some sort of marathon. So, we talk numbers all day long, then ignore the final results? This is a Druge story. Melt down at the Ministries of Truth?
You Can't Have It Both Ways
Either you suspect fraud or error and want a re-count, or you trust the first count and want to keep it, or both. You can want it both ways, but you can't have it both ways.
Do the math: There are 1,073 precincts. That means, at 1,073 precincts, the counting was done and reported. It is now being re-counted by 5 2-person teams instead of the original 1,073 counting teams. It takes longer.
Who knows why they decided on a re-count? Many here were begging for accuracy and have demanded them in the past. Maybe it's a good thing.
Suppose it came out as a tie, or the numbers were double what they were four years ago, or some other thing made them suspect the number wasn't right. That would require a re-count.
