Ron Paul knows

they can steal votes but they can not steal delegates. So don't worry about it the only thing these vote are good for is perception. Therefore don't get discourage we have to persevere to the end. Keep giving money and stay on the grind for liberty.

Can't seal delegates? Surely you

jest?

They were stolen in the state of Washington in 2008.

The delegate thing doesn't make sense though

I've heard two conflicting things and I can't seem to find what is true:

1. No one can be nominated, even at a brokered convention, without having won 5 states.

In this scenario, if Paul doesn't outright win 5 states, he cannot be nominated regardless of delegates.

2. They can enter anyone they want if it becomes a brokered convention. Obviously Paul's only hope for a win. But if this is true, what about #1?

Which is correct?

Anything is possible...

Whether it goes brokered or not, they can change the rules at the convention before the nomination. Of course, the delegates must approve the change (which is often difficult). Indeed, almost every convention some rules are changed prior to the nominations and delegate voting - but the changes are usually minor and do not relate to nominee selection.

So the short answer is this: anything is possible.

Well said!
