Nevada GOP Caucus Ballot Counting Timeline, Election 2012

- 6:56pm - NVGOP reports 5.1% of precincts: Gingrich: 20.3%, Paul: 29.4%, Romney: 36.8%, Santorum 13.4%
- 7:04pm - Mainstream media declares Romney cruises to victory with only 5.1 percent of votes reported, and zero votes reported from Clark county, which includes Las Vegas and is Nevada's largest county with nearly three fourths of the entire state population.
- 7:19pm - NVGOP reports 7.5% of precincts: Gingrich: 25.1%, Paul: 22.1%, Romney: 39.3%, Santorum 13.1%
- 8:42pm - “The state is screwing up the reporting of the Washoe results,” Washoe GOP Chairman Dave Buell said of the Nevada State Republican party. “Washoe has reported the correct results, but they (state party officials) can’t seem to get it right.”
- 10:56pm - NVGOP reports "Just awaiting counts from Clark County!" and 44.6% of precincts reporting: Gingrich: 26%, Paul: 18.4%, Romney: 42.5%, Santorum 12.9%, No Vote: 0.1% from 787 of 1835 precincts.
- 11:47pm - Without reporting the initial count for Clark county, the NVGOP declares they are going to do a "recounting" through the night and report the results in the morning.
- 12pm - NVGOP decreases the total votes reported from 44.6% to 43.8% and the total number of precincts in Nevada decreases from 1835 to 1797 with no explanation.
2/5/12
- 4:48am - NVGOP announces an increase from 43.8% to 56% of the vote counted before a single Clark precinct has even been reported.
- 5:04am - The first Clark precinct is actually reported.
- 5:06am - As the Clark precincts are reported Gingrich drops rapidly from 26% to 22.6% and Paul increases to 18.7%.
- 5:11am - NVGOP immediately stops reporting the precincts with only 51% of Clark county reported, merely stating, "These will be the last results released for the night. Expect remaining results in the morning PST." Total precincts are changed again from 1797 to 1800.
Nye Co.
Anyone know what time Nye county was called? Should be before 8:20pm PST I think.
According to my notes reporting went from 33/33 100% in Nye to 18/33 54.5% reporting around 8:22pm PST. It stayed that way for at least 5 minutes according to my captures.
Totals changed:
I know Paul went from 454 to 319 and I believe the others were
Mitt 291 to 203
Newt 166 to 113
Sant 113 to 80
Not positive on the first reported numbers on 291,166, and 133 above. I'm taking those from the final count assuming they were correct when reported before 8:20. I know those were Paul's numbers though as the change in his total is what sparked my attention to start taking screen shots.
They did eventually change back. Not sure why they would go from 100% to 54.5% back to 100% again though. I have screen captures for the change but not the first 100% reported before 8:20 I believe. My screen shots for Nye won't help much unless I have something before showing they did change...still it won't say much other than they pulled the numbers after they were reported for at least 5 minutes and then changed unless Mitt, Newt or Santorum's numbers are different.
Post what you have so we can work with it.

Given the circumstances
and the past history, there is no plausible reason to believe anything that the NVGOP says.
I don't believe the count.
I don't believe their excuses.
I don't believe even one word out of their mouths.
They are corrupt beyond redemption.
I consider them the enemy.
1835 Precincts
Here is a screen shot from 11:38pm on Feburary 4th (the night of the caucuses) showing 1835 total precincts:

I don't have one showing 1797, but Google now shows 1800 total precincts, i.e. 35 less than they showed a little over 24 hours ago.
Even without the 1797 it still makes the same point
How does the number of precincts change?
It sounds like VirtueX might have the 1797 one though.

I have screenshots...
I have screenshots of Washoe and Clark showing the precinct changes. Washoe's precinct numbers dropped 37 precincts and Clark County somehow added 2 precincts. I took a bunch of screenshots and need to go through and make sense of what I have. Will update Monday.

You're right. Gingrich flip-flopped his position in minutes.

At 7:19pm - Current #NVCaucus results with 7.5% of precincts reporting: Gingrich: 25.1%, Paul: 22.1%, Romney: 39.3%, Santorum 13.1%, No Vote: 0.3%
Look at the huge shift between 6:56 and 7:19. Also note that at 6:56 when the media was declaring Romney the winner, Ron Paul was right on his heels, Paul 29.4, Romney 36.8.
