Everyone needs to understand the GOP views the primaries and caucuses as "private party events". If they lie and cheat, there are little to no consequences as these are not general elections.

It's time to move on. I say the Constitution party sounds good. I'd be willing to bet that Dr. Paul can do MUCH better than Ross Perot did in the 90's.

day, I am unregistering as a Republican.

Personally, I don't care about the GOP. Those idiot state and local GOP leaders are following the orders of the national organization, which obviously wants Obomba to be re-elected. Libertarian or Constitution Party mentioned on any news program.
It's foolish to leave the big league and go take our ball and play in obscurity. Especially when we have the best team in the league. We are in the national playoffs this is the time to step it up, not get distracted because the other teams are cheating.

Time to face the facts. What the GOP fears most is what America needs most.
Neither Santorum nor Gingrich can win the nomination for one simple reason. Neither of them can collect enough delegates to win.
Neither man can be the nominee because neither one was able to get on enough states' ballots to make a difference. (564 delegates that Newt can't win, and over 700 delegates Santorum can't win ).
The media and the GOP are praying to God that the American people continue to remain ignorant of this fact for as long as possible while they try to come up with a strategy that will bury Ron Paul before Romney is forced to face him on stage alone and the commentators are no longer able to marginalize Paul by giving all the questions to everyone but him.
Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are the only two candidates that made it on the ballot in every state. Romney will not beat Obama, he's too similar except he will raise taxes on anyone making 40k a year or less in favor of giving himself lower taxes. Independents are going to run to Obama if Romney is the alternative.
It is a two man race between Ron Paul and Romney for the nomination.
It is also a two man race between Ron Paul and Obama for the White House.
It's time Conservatives and people with any functioning brain cells in their heads started backing the only real candidate that will beat Obama and save America. And whether you like it or not, that candidate is Ron Paul.
The facts can't be twisted to point in any other direction. The delegates decide who gets the nomination and you can't get delegates if you aren't on the ballots. It doesn't matter how much money gets pumped into your campaign by special interest groups. The facts are the facts.
IMPORTANT FACTS:
Fact : Gingrich and Santorum cannot win the nomination no matter how much they get in " popular " votes.
Fact : Ron Paul will decimate Obama on his Foreign Policy stance alone. Add in his economic and defense policies (Policies that Obama ran on in 2008 and abandoned once he got in the White House so no one would be stupid enough to believe he's going to follow them in his second term) and you have an un-beatable candidate in the general election who the bulk of the American people will vote for when they finally get a chance to see the man unfiltered and unbiased by the media.
America is broke and the average American is tired of hearing about another war on the horizon and seeing more dead soldiers coming home in coffins for no reason...all the while the freedoms they are dying to " protect " are being stripped away from us by our own government...one by one.
Obama has ‘0’ chance of beating Paul and Washington knows it. The GOP knows it. The corporations that own Washington know it too so they instruct the media outlets they own to hide it from you.
But now you know. Gingrich and Santorum are mathematically incapable of winning the Nomination and Romney can't beat Obama in the general election.
Ron Paul is the only choice we have. It's just nice that, for once, he's the RIGHT choice and not just the " lesser of two evils ".

Keep going until the convention. Then we will see what happens. We are a movement and we need TV coverage. Third party equals no coverage before convention.

How can we take it over when it is overrun with intolerant anti gay, anti Muslim, pro Israel church ladies and church men? I think you are in in denial. The GOP is not going to change till they are forced to by political reality. If Paul can't win this time, then Romney needs lo lose and lose bad for them to finally get it. They need to realize that Bush's policies were a disaster. till, then they have no room for Paul.

You and your wife donated maximum to REPUBLICAN Ron Paul, who is using that money to earn REPUBLICAN votes. Are you Republicans? I just joined the bloody GOP last year, because I finally saw the light. I finally understood WHY Ron Paul picked his fight in and with the GOP. He's not fighting outside, as you suggest, but he's taking us INSIDE. This is a good fight. In 07/08 I sign waved, put up banners, made and posted dozens of mini posters and started a Meetup, joined 4 Meet ups and traveled from Humbolt to San Francisco to Reno, where I talked my sister into starting a Meet up. I lost my cushy apartment for plastering it with Ron Paul signs... I can go on and on about what I've done, which included meeting Ron Paul and Kent Snyder (RIP). I would NOT join the GOP then. Now I regret that I did not. I really did hope Ron Paul would see the light, and he would see how corrupt the GOP is and he would go Indy, after all I have three elections of working for Nader's ballot access, I could help, and I was a Libertarian since 1976, so I understaood third parties. and boy oh boy IF Ron Paul would only leave the GOP. He did not. And he's not going to. This rEVOLution is FOR THE REPUBLIC, and why he is doing this in THE REPUBLIC CAN Party.

To start a third party or go Indy is a huge financial and labor intensive game, AND, from my experience, THE DUOPOLY WILL work together to crush you personally. I had a detective call me from 250 miles away to tell me I was charged with assult. I asked "who?", becasue I never assult anyone. He refused to say who. But Santa Monica sure didn't want Nader to have ballot access. I learned a mass amount of dirty tricks because I was a victim. Did you know that professional petitioners would not help Nader because the dirty tricks were so personally damaging? And this is what you want for Ron Paul supporters?

Am I a republican? Uh...well I guess that's what my voter registration card says. However, I don't agree with corporate welfare, foreign aid, and militarism that seems to be the foundation of the mainstream republican party. If the GOP has a corrupt system that manipulates the process to prevent the nomination of candidates that agree with my political views, then why should I waste my vote?
I will not vote for Romney, Santorum, or Gingrich. Period. If that makes me lose my "republican" status, then I couldn't care less.

I'll tell you what I want
I only want one thing: Constitutional government. That means a government that obeys the law.
this includes:
(a) Only fighting wars declared by the congress.
(b) Protection of civil liberties (including the 4th ammendment, not just the 2nd).
(c) Free markets (including letting the market set interest rates, and eliminating subsidies for farms, etc.).
The Republican party has some (very very few) good people in it who support our constitution, but most do not. If there was a Democratic presidential candidate who supported our constitution, I'd vote for him (or her). There is nothing special about the Republican party. In fact, there is very little difference between the Republican and Democratic parties on issues that are important. Good luck to you if you what to put "republican" name over prinicples.

Republican Ron Paul is well aware the Republican Party has been infiltraited and is being occupied by RINO. My job, with all the other Ron Paul Republicans is to show up to meetings, volunteer for everything and move these RINOs OUT.

I am certainly not shopping for a political party. I couldn't care less about political parties, which is my point. I support >90% of the ideas of Ron Paul, but the ideas matter, not the party, and not even the candidate. Republicans have hurt this country just as much as Democrats.
If Ron Paul isn't nominated, I will not vote for whoever the republican party throws on the ballot simply because thay have an "R" behind their name. If Ron Paul was running as a democrat, I'd be registered as a democrat right now.
I hope that the establishment republicans get the message and tilt toward constitutional government in the party platform. However, there is a very big risk of the GOP just giving lip service to try and buy votes of people like me, all the while continuing the same disastrous policies.

Practically speaking, the LIBERTARIAN PARTY is on every single
ballot of all states. I asked if they would want Congressman Paul to be on their ticket, if he failed on the Republican side, and they said, "yes".
So, I think AMERICANS are really ready for a REAL CHANGE. But, we do have to contend with RAMPANT PRESIDENTIAL FRAUD with Goldman Sachs former execs of Balderton Capital in London sticking their fingers into the election vote pie. They now own the SOE software which calculates the totals in a safe, convenient place (probably secret) in Spain. They recently purchased this software on January 11, 2012. SCYTL purchased the software, and Balderton Capital owns SCYTL. Oh, fyi, SCYTL was a contributor of OBAMA. Just great, huh!

The thing is, the Libertarian Party is not different than the GOP, being infiltraited when they run candidates like Bob Barr, and the powers in the party keep it flush with Neocons, like Bob Barr.
Alao, Ron Paul has already converted many people, like me, who was Decline to State Party since 1992, and Democrats, and so he is appealing to many because we see this as an opportunity to get inside a MAJOR Party and take it.
If you had the chace to take a MAJOR party, why would you mess around with a third party, KNOWING, even if you have state ballot access on 50 states, you do not have the votes the major party has.
I hope Ron Paul wins the GOP nomination. If he does not, I doubt he will go third party or Indy, rather, he can do well as a cinsultant for thise of us who have committed to taking this party back from hte Neocons.
