I was under the impression
I was under the impression via the locals that it was last Friday. (i live in OK)
No. It is Friday, February 10.
Look at the voter registration form here:
http://www.ok.gov/elections/documents/vrform.pdf
It says "Voter registration closes 24 days before an election".
The primary election is on March 6. The 25th day before March 6 is Friday, February 10.
They may have said last Friday because you may not vote until you receive a Voter Card from the County Election Board. It can take up to 30 days for the County Election Board to send you your Voter Card. If it took them the maximum 30 days to send you your voter card, then you would have had to register by Friday, February 3.
Regardless, supporters in Oklahoma need to double check their voter registration status and make sure their address is up to date and they are a registered Republican.
The absolute last day you can register to vote or re-register as a Republican is Friday, February 10.
