Ron Paul showed his building strength in Iowa yesterday.
The American Research Group poll released January 3 showed Dr. Paul in fifth place at six percent, seven points below Fred Thompson’s thirteen percent.
Ron Paul has even been left out of an upcoming Fox candidate forum in New Hampshire because of this, much to the chagrin of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee. Chairman Fergus Cullen even remarked that these actions were a "terrible precedent."
However, in Iowa, Ron Paul gained ten percent of the votes cast in the Iowa Caucus preference poll. John McCain and Fred Thompson tied for third with thirteen percent.
