HOW WE WILL WIN! My predictions

We need to set our attacks on nobody but Gingrich. The best thing for the Ron Paul campaign is a Gringrich drop out. Gringrich supporters are the "anybody but Romney crowd" and they will go straight to Paul. I have noticed that the Gingrich supporters are easily brought over to the Ron Paul base, more than any other candidate's supporter.

A Santorum drop out would ironically not benefit us. Santorum supporters are the type that would most-likely not support Paul. A Santorum drop-out would just increase and invigorate Romney and Gingrich's base. As I said, we need to focus on Gringrich and eat away at his base until he finally drops out. That will widen Ron Paul's support!

Then, you will see the true fight we have all been waiting for. The fight between Paul and Romney. By then the over-confident Santorum would be forced to drop out in shame because of a lack of money and support. Any debates between Ron Paul would be a bloodbath for Romeny and a contrast will develop; Paul as the honest people's candidate for a real change, and Romney as the dishonest Goldman-Sachs candidate. The choice will be clear. Ron Paul 2012

Couldn't agree more. I've been saying for a while now. If you just put consistent pressure on him, he'll snap and destroy his own campaign. Just watch him get angrier and more grotesque each passing week.

You can't totally ignore Santorum though. He's the heir to Gingrich votes or he'll at least split them with Paul. But with Gingrich out of the picture he'll be harder to take on. More importantly, Romney and Gingrich ignore him.

All of the news stories about suspected vote tampering and election fraud could be the match that lights people up. If they get mad, really mad, then there could be new Ron Paul supporters and voters by the droves.

Did that work in 2008?

The vote fraud is not a new problem. Until last week, those of us who brought it up HERE were called "crazy conspiracy theorist." Now that you believe, you think suddenly EVERYONE will see the light?

You don't think it is a real possibility that...

...if it were down to two Romney and Paul, the media would just call it for Romney and pretend Paul wasn't garnering any legitimate support?

I guess if it were Romney and Paul right now they wouldn't be able to do that because the major delegate allocation (Super Tuesday) hasn't come yet. Though, it doesn't look like anyone is dropping out before Super Tuesday. This is why it is really all about Virginia.

Virginia is the two man race you're talking about. The blessing there is that on the ground grassroots could make the difference by working hard to earn RP a victory. Where as, if he was all the sudden to be competing for all states with just Romney, the media would ignore him and it would be over. With resources dumped into Virginia, the media would have to report on a story that not only gives RP a huge win, but proves their entire made up narrative that "RP is unelectable to" be completely false.

Seriously, ever since it was determined that Virginia was going to be Romney V Paul, it was starting to make sense. It's better that the other two are in until then anyway, because it chips away at Romney's credibility and staying power. RP's only shot is to chip away at delegates in the caucus states (as he is now) and then flood Virginia with everything it can network and muster. Gotta beat Romney in VA!

What kind of reputation..

..does Bain Capital have in Va? What do they think of Mitt? Did he waste a bunch of jobs or anything like that?

Virginia has tons of chickenhawks

All of those NGOs, defense intelligence companies, lobbyists, etc. it will be a fight for sure. The rest of Virginia to the West and South will be where Ron will stake his claim.

The key will be getting the outer lying areas out to vote. The last two debates before Super Tuesday are in Georgia on March 1 and in California on March 5th. Since these debates will have all the remaining candidates participating there will not really be a focus on Newt not being in Virginia and what is to make us believe that Ron will get equal time with Romney on Virginia?

Newt is going to have a dreadful run through the end of February with the possible exception of Arizona. Arizona is unfortunately a winner take all primary but I don't see him beating Romney. The wild card will be Ron if he can gain enough momentum from some caucus victories (Maine & Minnesota).

As Joeinmo has urged before, in Missouri, we MUST have a great turn out to get the win in the straw poll which is Missouri's primary on February 7th. We need that win for media momentum. The good folks of MO will take care of the caucus there on March 17th.

It doesn't matter who drops out.

The fewer the candidates, the better Ron looks. I say target the weakest link first, Santorum has minimal organization and no money. If Santorum doesn't get at least second place in MO (where he is hoping to do well) then his campaign is over.

The added bonus is that if Santorum is out of the race, then during the next debate Romney becomes the dumbest man on the stage. As the field whittles down, Romney has fewer wing-men who make him look 'presidential' by comparison.

You're a regular psychic...

Yes, we have to put the heat on Grinch

He had a press conference yesterday after Nevada, can someone tell me what heppened. What was that all about?

To my knowledge, he's campaign is in debt and perhaps the only positive thing out of Nevada is the fact that Romney blew away everyone, including Gingrich.

If we can win ONE state without Grinch winning (MN or MO or ME) then we can demonstrate that we are the alternative to Romney.

100% of the attacks have to be to Gingrich. That and push the "No one but Paul". Get it in their head that Paul is the only one that can deny independents, the young voters and the dissatisfied dems from Obama and that if he's not the nominee, they will lose to Obama GUARANTEED, 100% certainty!

It HURT Gingrich severely when the campaign produced the "Serial Hypocrisy" ad and he came in so low in Iowa. And I agree the only reason he has support is because people recognize the NAME and associate him with the "conservative resurgence" under Clinton. They don't know or care about how vile that man really is; they just know he's "not Romney."
